Κεχαγιάς, Γιώργος 26 April 2015 (has links)
Lateral Spreading along the coastal line of Liksouri and Argostoli during the earthquakes in Cephalonia in January 26 & February 3, 2014.

Výchova a vzdělávání dětí s mentálním postižením / Upbringing and education of children with cephalonia

GAJDOŠOVÁ, Adéla January 2007 (has links)
Upbringing and education children with cephalonia The children with cephalonia develop slowly but they are very sensitive and perceptive. Their upbringing and education is very discussed problem at present. Every men is an unique personality and every men is entitled to the full-value life with the education and the love and it applies also to people with cephalonia. The main subject of the diploma thesis was to describe the general information about the cephalonia (aetiology, classification, possibilities of education of people with cephalonia). The practical part of the diploma thesis has two goals. The first goal was to find out and describe the situation of skilled employees in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia. The second goal was to find out and describe the level of the special pedagogic care of children with cephalonia (especially using of alternative therapies). Both of goals were achieved. The diploma thesis verified two existing hypothesis together. The basic technique of data collection was the questionnaire for teacher in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia in the Zlín region. The secondary analysis of the methodical materials and the educational programmes in the special schools in Zlín region was the next used method. The hypothesis no.1 (There is lack of skilled employees in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia) was overcame. The most of interviewed special pedagogues had requisite qualification according to law and the others studied for this qualification by their employment. The hypothesis no.2 (The alternative therapies are not using enough in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia) was confirmed. According to the secondary analysis of the methodical materials the particulars of the alternative therapies are using because these particulars of therapies are parts of the curriculum for children with special needs. But the research results that quarter of informants don{\crq}t use the alternative therapies and they don{\crq}t have the appropriate qualification for it. The results of this diploma thesis could have been using as an information brochure for parents and teachers of children with cephalonia.

Sounds of satire, echoes of madness : performance and evaluation in Cefalonia, Greece

Pollatou, Efpraxia January 2009 (has links)
This thesis is about the construction of 'satire' as an exclusive practice among the Cefalonian and hence proposes the term satiricity (satirikotita). It explores the construction of the category of the Cefalonian "madman" by means of dialogics between performance and evaluation. It is observed that the relation depends on three principles that obtain among audience members and a performer: conditioning the performance, participation in and observation of the performance and evaluation of it. Being one of the few anthropological studies on the Ionian islands of Greece, this thesis aims to contribute to the anthropology of the Ionian islands and of Cefalonia in particular. It looks at the relation between a town and a village on the ground of teasing events and refutes the argument of satire as an urban phenomenon only. It sets the elementary principles towards anthropology of satire and emphasizes the importance of studying everyday teasing events. It also contributes to understanding a 'native' researcher's presence in different ways. Satiricity is seen as a 'par excellence' feature that Cefalonians have. No matter if Cefalonia is a part of the Greek nation-state and people follow 'modern Greek culture', they still employ satiricity as a way of distancing themselves from Greeks. 'Distance' is forged on the basis of absolute exclusion of Greeks from having, practising and understanding satiricity in the way that Cefalonians do. The Conclusions leave the ground open for more investigation on teasing events and application of such viewpoints around other areas of the island, and of the Ionian islands or other Greek islands. I also point to studies looking at island and mainland teasing events and potential differences. After all, we need to examine not only how people construct the claim on the exclusivity of 'satire'. We need to examine how such a claim is applied, supported or contrasted and possibly rejected when Cefalonians engage with other Greeks away from the island.

"Kefalonia" v západoněmecké a italské kultuře vzpomínání 1943 až 1989 / "Cephalonia" in the West German and Italian Cultures of Remembrance. 1943-1989

Mikulová, Soňa January 2015 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with West German and Italian public memory of a specific wartime episode on the Greek island of Cephalonia. In September 1943, soldiers of the Wehrmacht, the regular German army, committed mass executions on up to 4,000 Italian prisoners of war. The thesis also analyses the mutual reception of the memory discourses in West Germany and Italy and examines the possibility of an interaction between their participants. The thesis uses the case study "Cephalonia" to expose how West German and Italian society came to terms with the past of the World War II in the period from 1943 to 1989.
