Komunikace u dospělých klientů s poruchou autistického spektra a její systematická podpora / Communication in adult clients with autism and its systematic support

Růžová, Karolina January 2019 (has links)
The topic of this diploma thesis is communication in adult clients with autism and its systematic support. The text itself consists of two main parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is further divided into four chapters which deal with the basic concepts of autism spectrum disorders and communication. In these chapters, autism spectrum disorders are analysed from the viewpoint of historical development, etiology, classification and symptomatology with regard to the manifestation of ASD in adulthood. The chapters which deal with the topic of communication first define communication as such and the important terms associated with it, and then describe the specific abnormalities that may occur in the communication of people with autism spectrum disorder. They also provide support options that can be used to communicate with people with ASD. The practical part is then conceived as a qualitative research whose main aim is to describe the communication of people with autism spectrum disorder, to show its specifics and to describe the intervention that was introduced in five individual subjects. In accordance with the main objective, partial objectives and research questions were set. The research part describes the environment in which the research took place and provides five case...

Možnosti komunikace dětí s dětskou mozkovou obrnou / Communication Possibilities of Children with Infantile Cerebral Palsy

Zikmundová, Klára January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to attempt to summarize what communication possibilities children suffering from a serious form of infantile cerebral palsy have, to describe them and possibly to clarify what exactly restricts these possibilities. The thesis also tries to answer the question in what way the communication of these individuals differs from the communication of intact persons. The core of the thesis resides in a theoretical exposition which deals - among others - with the communication process and its verbal and non-verbal parts, the diagnostic characterization of the infantile cerebral palsy and the impaired communication ability in symptomatic speech disorders which are associated with this disability. It describes how especially mobility impairment and mental retardation are reflected in the way and possibilities of communication. Special attention is paid to methods of alternative and augmentative communication which can be used as a therapy in the stimulation of the development of communication and speech skills, and which very often represent one of few possible ways of communicating for persons with this disability. The theoretical part is accompanied by video recordings showing communication of four girls suffering from infantile cerebral palsy. As manifestations of this diagnosis...

Hudba jako výrazný prostředek kultivace řeči předškolních dětí / Music as a Significant Means for Speech Cultivation in Pre-School Children

Kmentová, Milena January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation of an interdisciplinary character involves music education, music psychology, linguistics and special education. In the theoretical part of the thesis the author explains the term timbre from the musicological and linguistic perspective; characterizes timbre hearing as a musical hearing ability; introduces and compares timbre and phonemic hearing tests; describes the development of musicality and speech of pre-school children from an ontogenetic perspective, and emphasizes hearing atten- tion as a prerequisite for their advancement. The author also characterizes disruption of these abilities and describes reeducation therapies that involve elements of music education and mu- sic therapy. A field study described in the practical part of the thesis has a form of fundamental research and experiment. Research participants were 180 pre-school children. A field study is addressing the relationship between speech and musical manifestations of pre-school children with atypi- cal speech development. The aim of the experiment was to search for the most effective com- bination of music and language education with positive influence on both musicality and speech. Chapters of the thesis introduce a unique diagnostic material, experimental methodol- ogy and research outcomes. A field study...

Dvořáková, Lucie January 2019 (has links)

Continually, it describes the ontogenetic evolution of speech in children with hearing impairment and its specifics in different speech levels, aquaints with SLP intervention, its structure and organisation in Czech republic and describes frequently occuring types of disrupted communicational abilities in pre-school children. The closure of the theoretical part describes the pre-school education trends when it comes to children with hearing problems. The main goal of the practical part is to map out and comment on the way SLP intervention is provided in pre-schools for children with hearing impairment. The more precise aim of the work is to find out, through means of a series of questionnaires, who is the object of SLP intervention in present times and who is in charge of providing it. Rozvoj fonematické sluchu u dětí s NKS podle metodiky D.B.Elkonina / Development of phonemic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills utilizing the D.B. Elkonin method

Hrabětová, Hana January 2020 (has links)
The topic of the thesis is the development of phonematic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills, utilizing the method of Danil Boršovič Eľkonin. It deals with the training of language skills for selected kindergarten children with special needs. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. It summarizes theoretical definitions of basic terms such as language, speech, and communication. It describes disturbed communication abilities and its classification, it deals more with the characteristic of developmental dysphasia. It also deals with the concepts of phonetics and phonology, describes phonematic hearing and phonematic awareness. Last but not least, it outlines D.B. Elkonin's personality and his methodology. The practical part is of a qualitative character, which will give us access to the analysis of methodological procedures that we chose for this analysis. It describes five children with impaired communication skills throughout the training. Five children were selected for the research and for 6 months they were purposefully and regularly developed phonematic hearing by means of the D.B. Elkonin method. The research theses deal with the difference between input and output values of phonematic awareness. The results were carefully recorded in the...
