Considera-se que a adoção de práticas parceiras e associadas entre as empresas, contribui para a conquista de vantagens competitivas. As conclusões do trabalho indicam que no setor em foco, a falta de relações inspiradas nos princípios de redes agrava a situação de baixa competitividade, além de que o desconhecimento revelado sobre o assunto inibe a visão de perspectivas positivas. / The research had the objective to identify the nature and intensity of the interorganizational relationships found in the fabric industries in the metropolitan área of Campina Grande. It is considered that the adoption of partnership and associated practices among the companies offers a contribution to the conquest of competitive advantages. The interviews the were applied at the companies lead to the conclusion that, in the analysead sector, the lack of relationships inspired in the principles of a network intensifies the low competitiveness situation, despite the fact that the unawareness about the subject weakens the vision of positive perspectives.
