Comunica??o interna em empreendimento hoteleiro: um enfoque gerencial

In this scenario, communication has received attention from modern managers. Research indicates that some sectors of activity, more than others, rely on communication as a tool for achieving their goals. The tourism sector, located in the service segment is configured as one of these activities, which the hotel is part of the composite product. With the intention to acknowledge these aspects in this study sought to analyze the characteristics of internal communication in a hotel project in the managerial perspective. To try to answer this purpose we constructed a framework based on authors that discuss organizational communication, internal communication and hotel businesses. For the purpose of research was chosen a unit of study to assess the views of managers regarding the issue. In the unit studied was sought to apprehend these meanings through interviews with a group of managers in the organization and analysis of documents. Data were analyzed through content analysis of Bardin (1977), with the technique of categorical analysis, as it sought to capture aspects that allow the description of the contents of the messages. The results pointed to an organizational reality based heavily on orality, who lives constantly with noise and using communication to regulate behavior. With little or no reflection on managerial communication inferred that subordinates should not absorb the message completely, a phenomenon that can not be responsible for the complete fulfillment thereof. Nesse cen?rio, a comunica??o tem merecido aten??o por parte dos gestores modernos. Pesquisas indicam que alguns setores de atividades, mais do que outros, dependem da comunica??o como uma ferramenta para a obten??o de suas metas. O setor tur?stico, localizado no segmento de servi?os, se configura como uma destas atividades, da qual a hotelaria ? parte do composto de produtos. Com a inten??o de reconhecer estes aspectos buscou-se neste estudo analisar as caracter?sticas da comunica??o interna em um empreendimento Hoteleiro, na perspectiva gerencial. Para tentar se responder a tal objetivo construiu-se um referencial baseado em autores que discorrem sobre a comunica??o organizacional, a comunica??o interna e empreendimentos hoteleiros. Para efeito da pesquisa escolheu-se uma unidade de estudo para avaliar a vis?o dos gerentes com rela??o ? tem?tica. Na unidade pesquisada buscou-se apreender tais significa??es por meio da realiza??o de entrevistas com um grupo de gerentes da organiza??o e da an?lise de documentos. Os dados obtidos foram analisados atrav?s da an?lise de conte?do de Bardin (1977), com a t?cnica da an?lise categorial, j? que se pretendeu apreender aspectos que permitissem a descri??o do conte?do das mensagens. Os resultados encontrados apontaram para uma realidade organizacional baseada fortemente na oralidade, que convive constantemente com ru?dos e que usa a comunica??o para regular comportamentos. Com pouca ou nenhuma reflex?o gerencial sobre a comunica??o inferiu-se que os subordinados n?o devem absorver completamente as mensagens, fen?meno que pode ser o respons?vel pela n?o efetiva??o completa das mesmas. Al?m disso, percebeu-se que a organiza??o estudada n?o planeja sua comunica??o, uma vez que, ainda n?o a enxerga como uma ferramenta estrat?gica para atingir suas metas

The research, exploratory descriptive kind, had theoretical basis on two knowledge areas Administrative Science and Social Communication and was developed at Instituto do Desenvolvimento Econ?mico e Meio Ambiente IDEMA, in Rio Grande do Norte. During data collection, were conducted spontaneous and semi structured interviews with directors and coordinators, besides the application of directed questionnaire to functionaries in two unites of the institution. Through the analysis and interpretation of the data, we came to the conclusion that the process of internal communication at a public organization fall in with same challenges of private organizations, but with peculiarities that attracts the scientific look specially, in concern of the attitude assumed by the administrators in the conduction of communication functions inside the organization, the profile of social actor and the communication channels used. Although the organizational communication represents more and more a strategic function, as an administration tool, the point that research gets to shows that in public organizations the communication refrains from administrative purpose and with the major objective of giving publicity to the institutional acts and actions / O presente estudo constitui uma an?lise do processo de comunica??o interna numa organiza??o p?blica, constru?da atrav?s do levantamento de dados origin?rios da conduta administrativa, da observa??o do padr?o cultural da organiza??o e de como se apresentam os relacionamentos interdepartamentais e interpessoais. A pesquisa, do tipo explorat?rio-descritiva, teve sustenta??o te?rica em duas ?reas do conhecimento Ci?ncias Administrativas e Comunica??o Social e foi desenvolvida no Instituto de Desenvolvimento Econ?mico e Meio Ambiente IDEMA, no Rio Grande do Norte. Na coleta de dados, foi aplicado um question?rio direcionado aos servidores de duas unidades da institui??o. Da an?lise e interpreta??o dos dados chegou-se a conclus?o que o processo de comunica??o interna numa organiza??o p?blica depara-se com peculiaridades que atraem a aten??o do olhar cient?fico especialmente, no que diz respeito ? postura assumida pelos administradores frente ao papel da comunica??o dentro da organiza??o, ao perfil do ator social e aos canais de comunica??o utilizados. Be it verbal, visual or even coded. In this medium is the Organizational Communication that is divided into Marketing Communication (aimed at supporting marketing actions), Institutional (proposes the construction of the image and the institutional concept) and Internal Communication (aims to promote the dynamization of the flow of internal information). This paper aims to analyze the role of Internal Communication in the Directorate of People Management (DAP) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and its relationship with the public service. We will also talk about how Internal Communication can be a strategic tool to achieve institutional goals. The empirical study was developed in an exploratory way, in the available literature, and descriptive, through a questionnaire applied to DAP servers. With this, based on the bibliographic study and the results of the questionnaire, it was possible to elaborate a diagnosis of the internal communication in the DAP. The diagnosis which facilitates both the work of the servers and the search of the users who need DAP services. The study is useful in the search to recognize, then, how important Internal Communication is to an organization and that it can be used as a strategic tool to achieve the institution's goals.
