This work is dedicated to study the constitutionalist revolution of 1932 that, as other events in Vargas Age, is told from the memory of survivors and former combatants. The meaning of this writing is analyzed from the journalist Paulo Duarte's (1899-1984) work, Palmares pelo avesso. In this chronicle, the author recounted his experience in the battlefield and critically examined the outcome of the war. Similarities and differences are found between the constitutionalist s writings Paulo Duarte, Armando Brussolo and Euclydes Figueiredo. / Diante dos resultado dos acontecimentos de outubro de 1930, a versão dos opositores de Getúlio Vargas ocuparam posições secundárias na História que transformou a ascensão do expresidente em um divisor de águas. Este trabalho dedica-se ao estudo da revolução constitucionalista de 1932 que, como outros eventos da Era Vargas, é narrada a partir da memória dos sobreviventes e ex-combatentes. O significado dessa escrita é analisado a partir da obra Palmares pelo avesso, do jornalista Paulo Duarte (1899-1984). Nessa crônica, o autor narrou sua experiência no campo de batalha e analisou criticamente o desfecho da guerra. Semelhanças e diferenças são encontradas entre os escritos constitucionalistas de Paulo Duarte, Armando Brussolo e Euclydes Figueiredo.
