Aritmetickou třídu piaristických škol, rozšířenou po všech řádových provinciích, které postupně během vývoje piaristického řádu do osvícenských školních reforem a úprav vznikaly, se dosud žádná podrobnější studie nezabývala. Působnost této třídy bývala v dějinách piaristického různě vykládána a interpretována. Také se zařazením do tehdejšího školního sytému činilo mnohým autorům určité potíže. Většina ji pokládala za doplněk základní školy, za jakousi nouzovou třídu, jenž umožňovala těm žákům, kteří z nejrůznějších důvodů nemohli studovat u piaristů dále na gymnáziu snadnější vstup do praxe, nebo za ústupek šlechtickým, později pak mnohem více také měšťanským, zakladatelům řádových kolejí, v t om smyslu, že se vyhoví jejich požadavkům vyučit jejich synky v kupeckých počtech. Pokud si autoři všimli, že výuka v aritmetických třídách převyšovala svým zaměřením a požadavky kladené na běžnou třídu základní školy, často j im dělalo potíže zařazení této třídy zaměřené na reálnou výuku do tehdejšího školního systému. The aim of this work is to provide a satisfactory additional material for advanced bassoon students. There is not enough time left during the practical lessons to tell interesting information that might be even helpful for the student. The name of the theses is The Introduction to the History, Theory and Issues of Bassoon Performance. The subject matter of this paper focuses on the theoretical findings; it also covers information beneficial for the practice. First of all, the basic facts about the bassoon and related instruments are mentioned. The other chapters deal with the historical development of double reed woodwind instruments, the manufacturing process of a bassoon and contrabassoon, and there is a summary of important terms. Furthermore, information about proper breathing and more practical advice and tips are included. A part of this paper is also dedicated to remarkable authors and interpreters of bassoon music.

This thesis is a case study of the Schareholding brewery in Smíchov in the years 1918- 1948. It not only focuses upon its contribution to the business history in interwar Czechoslovakia, but also charts its transition from a successful joint-stock company with a full market economy to a mixed economic system with central planning. The development of the company is the development of the company is examined through the analysis of business strategy, looking at the approaches of the shareholders and management regarding investment, modernization, division of profits, lending tools and support sales. Attention is also paid to the business mentality of the company's management and its development at the time of the First Republic. The work also provides an insight into business in Czech society during the interwar period and is a contribution to the history of the Czech brewing industry.

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem československého hospodářství v padesátých a šedesátých letech 20. století z pohledu jejich vlivu na reformní hnutí v šedesátých letech. Z tohoto důvodu zkoumá etapy centralizace a militarizace národního hospodářství, ani krátká období reforem a konsolidace. Ze současného pohledu jsou nejvýznamnější právě etapy reforem, které se snažily v rámci rigidní, Sovětským svazem ovlivněné, hospodářské politiky zmírnit hospodářské problémy vyvolané militarizací ekonomiky. Proto je nedílnou součástí této práce také shrnutí teoretických východisek Šikovy reformy, která byla z hlediska změny hospodářské politiky nejhlubší. Práce se snaží navzájem konfrontovat pohled Oty Šika, jako jednoho z autorů reformy, s názory historiků a ekonomů, snaží se také o zhodnocení některých jejích kroků.

General-Bass is a certain characteristic system of writing and playing an accompaniment in the 17th and 18 century for keyboard and harmonic instruments used in chamber or orchestra music. General-Bass evolved during those two centuries. First theoretical references of general-bass technique are dated around 1600. It was a renaissance motet technique die away and improvisation and polyphony baroque technique born time. Lodovico Viadanas treatise Cento concerti ecclesiastici from 1602 is a first written documented instruction of this technique. Centre of general-basses development expanded from Italy to Germany and France. There was a separate specific evolve and theoretical treatises of general-bass in each country. Despite of the separation there was a influence and inspiration between of the particular country stiles of general-basses praxes. The main representative are Francesco Gasparini, Georg Muffat and Francesco Geminiani in Italy Jean-Henri d´Anglebert, François Dandrieu, Michel de St. Lambert in France and Johann Mattheson, Johann David Heinichen and Johann Sebastian Bach in Germany. Currently we are experiencing return of studies of historical general-basses treatises and arises modern textbooks of general-bass. There are two Czech translations of Jespera Bøje Christensens and Barbara Marie Willis textbooks available. Both authors based their textbooks on historical pedagogical systems and rules. Michel Laizé wrote textbook of General-Bass based on his own methodical scheme in 2001 in France.

The state Švihov Castle is located in the eponymous town in the western part of Bohemia. Půta Švihovský built this unconquerable object in 1480 near the Uhlava river. Other owners of the castle include the Říčanští's from the town of Říčan in the 16th century, and then the Černín's from the town of Chudenic, who owned the building until the end of the Second World War. This castle was not only used as a home of the Lord, but moreover, it was used for agricultural purposes beginning in the 18th century. After the war, all the Černín's property was confiscated, and the castle has since been owned by the government. After the castle's submission to the government, numerous construction has been performed which continues to this day. The majority of the restoration took place under the direction of Břetislav Storm, M.A.E. Furthermore, in subsequent years, the castle has served multiple purposes such as archaeological and historical research, restoration and construction activities and also many movies have been filmed there. The castle has been recognized as a national cultural monument, and has been managed by the National Heritage Institute since 2002.
