Corpus verum et mysticum. Vývoj vztahu eucharistie a církve v teologii 9.-12. století / Corpus verum et mysticum. The development of the relationship between the Eucharist and the Church in Theology from the 9 to the 12 centuryHrabánek, Lukáš January 2012 (has links)
The Diploma thesis "Corpus verum et mysticum. The development of the relationship between the Eucharist and the Church in Theology from the 9th to the 12th century." is based on theological debates of the 20th century, concerning the application of the term corpus mysticum. While magisterial documents use this expression for the Church, a French theologist Henry de Lubac calls attention to the original holder - to the Eucharist. That's why this Diploma thesis is interested in a conception of the Church and the Eucharist, in their relationship and in their terminological development. It proceeds in chronological order. Initially it tries in a mentioned point of view to find and evaluate default texts in the Holy Scripture (Chapter 1), which were received by distinguished authors in the patristic period (Chapter 2). They influenced afterwards theologists of the Middle Age from 9th to 12th century. During this period the Eucharistic doctrine and the theological synthesis corpus triforme (Church, Eucharist and historical-heavenly Jesus) were being formed and developed; each of them was influencing the other one. It is possible to notice a cardinal change during the Eucharistic controversies, when the symbolic conception of Berengar of Tours was condemned by the Roman synod in 1078. That's why the...

Československá hokejová reprezentace v letech 1945 - 1969 / The Czechoslovak Ice Hockey Team in Years 1945 - 1969Švepešová, Alena January 2015 (has links)
My Diploma aims to show how political decisions in international context affected sport in Czechoslovakia. By putting events in context it is essential to illustrate the popularity of ice hockey in Bohemia and Czechoslovakia. The purpose of the thesis is to truthfully describe the important milestones of the Czechoslovak ice hockey based on the oral history, archival sources and periodicals. As sport can be perceived as a mirror of the society, it is possible to show how the Czechoslovak society changed from 1945 up to 1969. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

1 COMPARISON OF CERTAIN ASPECTS OF LEGAL REGULATION OF SLAVERY AND ITS ABOLITION IN THE USA AND IN GREAT BRITAIN Resumé This thesis deals with legal regulation of slavery in Great Britain and the United states of America and also with its abolition. The first part of the thesis is theoretical. At the beginning, it describes the concepts of "slavery", "slave society" and "abolition". This is followed by the brief history of slavery, from the ancient society, through the Middle Ages, to slavery in North America. The end of this chapter briefly discusses the legal aspects of slavery in general, and the influence of the Enlightenment and Christianity on the perception of slavery. The second part focuses on situation in various geographic regions and some legal phenomena relating to slavery. The regions covered include England, specific for fact that slavery was abandoned there as early as in the 12th century and has never had any legislative background, together with India and the Caribbean as two examples of the opposite ends of the spectrum - while in the Caribbean slavery still constitutes a determining social element, in India the effects of slavery are surprisingly "negligible". The next section deals with other Britain's colonies and the characteristics of North American continent, and situation in the...

Britové a Židé v Palestině v letech 1944-1948 / The British and Jews in Palestine, 1944-1948Zamrazilová, Barbora January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the withdrawal of Great Britain from Palestine and the reactions of the Zionist movement on her mandatory policy. In 1937, the British planed to divide the mandate between the Arabs and the Jews, terminate the administration and establish an alliance with the successor states. Disapproval of the Arab world, worsened security in Palestine and the threat of a war in Europe led the mandatory power to prolong the administration and restrict the jewish immigration. These meassures caused a deterioration of Anglo-Zionist relations. During the Second World War, the Zionist Organization put forward a request for the establishment of a Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine. No long after, the British restored their preparations for the termination of the mandate. As before the war, they sought for the pernament teritorial solution for postmandatory Palestine and new allies. Due to unstable geopolitical situation and the loss of her hegemonic position, Great Britain had to consider the attitudes of the Arab world and the United States of America.
