This master thesis deals with task scheduling and allocation of resources in parallel and distributed enviroment. Thesis subscribes design and implementation of application for executeing of data processing with optimal resources usage.

This diploma thesis has several objectives. The first one is to analyse current situation of ABC s.r.o. in relation to marketing tools used by this company. The second objective is to compare mentioned tools with marketing tools used by a smaller enterprise. Other aims of this thesis are analysis of the use of marketing tools and analysis of their impact on consumers (customers) while using method of questionnaire (survey). The work is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. Theoretical part explains essence of marketing, its evolution, basic principles and terms. Some of these methods are practically used in the second part of the work while analysing the situation of the company. The last part of the work includes marketing plan which should support company’s strategy and an evaluation of its impact on the cash flows of the enterprise and their effective use in marketing.

The aim of this diploma thesis is real-time fMRI neurofeedback. In this case, the activity of amygdala is monitored and controled by an emotional regulatory visual task. A procedure to process measured data online and to incorporate it into the stimulus protocol has been proposed. A pilot study was carried out. Offline analysis of measured data was performed, including evaluation of the results of the analysis. The data is processed in MATLAB using the functions of the SPM library.

The master's thesis deals with the in-memory database SAP HANA which keeps all data directly in main memory with the use of column-oriented data layout. Practical part of the thesis consists in development of application in SAP R/3 environment, with which performance of the in-memory database SAP HANA and the traditional database MaxDB is compared, including influence of used data layout. The results show that the in-memory database is advantageous especially for analytical operations based on aggregate functions.

This master's thesis summarizes theory on how to perform data load onto on-board computers of aircrafts. Specifically, how automated data load of Honeywell's Aspire 400 satellite data unit is done. First part of the text describes requirements and possible ways of the data load process, including standards that are applicable to this topic in the aeronautical industry. The second part describes the implementation of the data load process on the aforementioned unit.

The aim of this thesis is to develop a system for automation and simplification of paper forms processing in cooperation with gerontological facility. The solution is an SaaS system, that provides tools to design paper and digital forms, managing them, fill them online or print it on paper and then automatically process scanned documents via OCR algorithm. It also provides a simple cloud storage and the integration with complex form and survey database Redcap. It is very important to design a user friendly interface and to perform a set of thorough tests with feedback from medical facility. Fundamental used technologies are ASP.NET (MVC) and C\#, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and MSSQL. The output of this work should lay the foundations to an ongoing startup.

In the Master’s thesis were described privacy protection problems while using cloud technologies. Some of the problems can be solved with help of homomorphic encryption, data splitting or searchable encryption. These techniques were described and compared by provided security, privacy protection and efficiency. The data splitting technique was chosen and implemented in the C language. Afterwards a performance of the implemented solution was compared to AES encryption/decryption performance. An application for secured data storing in cloud was designed and implemented. This application is using the implemented data splitting technique and third-party application CloudCross. The designed application provides command line interface (CLI) and graphical user interface (GUI). GUI extends the capabilities of CLI with an ability to register cloud and with an autodetection of registered clouds. The process of uploading/downloading the data to/from cloud storage is transparent and it does not overload the user with technical details of used data splitting technique.

This thesis focuses on the design and development of a web application that offers help in managing family photographic material, with the emphasis on data integrity and security, and maximum transparency when handling personal information. The application will be usable on any device with a screen, web browser and internet connection. One of its key features will be face detection on uploaded photographs.

This thesis is focused on optimization of data reading from distributed NoSQL database Apache HBase with regards to the desired data granularity. The assignment was created as a product request from Seznam.cz, a.s. the Reklama division, Sklik.cz cost center to improve user experience by making filtering of aggregated statistical data available to advertiser web application users for the purpose of viewing entity performance history.

This work deals with the collection of data from analog sensors, their storage and display using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. In more detail it deals with selecting the appropriate analog-to-digital converter, selecting the appropriate storage and database server, web server and application to display the measured data.
