Dechová a nátisková cvičení pro saxofon / BREATH AND EMBOUCHURE EXERCISES FOR SAXOPHONE

Rajnošek, Bharata January 2016 (has links)
This thesis called Breath and Embouchure Exercises for Saxophone deals with the methodology of teaching techniques on the saxophone in a broader sense of all influences on tone creation. It begins with physical posture, continues with basic breathing techniques and only after their expected mastering proceeds to special techniques, which allow mastering of embouchure techniques and habits. This thesis follows and complements the publication of David Liebman: How to Play the Saxophone. The author goes more in depth where Liebman is too brief. He is not satisfied with just enumerating playing techniques but tries a view from the other side - from quality-aesthetic requirements to individual exercises. The focus of the thesis is to develop of a comprehensive system of exercises that leads those concerned through individual successive steps towards the ideal mastery of the tone creation technology. The aim is to provide reassurance to seekers on their way. The author as a teacher makes his proven system available also for other students.

Vliv dlouhodobého handlingu na příznaky stresu u hraboše polního / Impact of long-lasting handling on stress symptoms in the common vole

JANOCHOVÁ, Lenka January 2017 (has links)
The objective of this study was to examine the handling influence on breath rate and plasma corticosterone in adult common voles. Furthermore, the examination of relationship between physiological and personality traits was performed. A device consisting of chamber, pressure sensor and oscilloscope measured the breath rate. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used for corticosterone analysis. Behavioural characteristics were assessed in Open field test (OFT) and Elevated Plus Maze (EPM). The results did not prove the significant impact on resting breath rate and plasma corticosterone level. However, the handled individuals had nearly significantly lower stress breath rate compared to the non-handled individuals. Significant relationship between breath rate and behavioural traits was not detected. Nevertheless, the individuals with lower stress-induced plasma corticosterone performed significantly longer exploration in Elevated Plus Maze.

Vyšetření poruch dechového stereotypu a jejich vlivu na muskuloskeletální systém u studentů PF JU ve věku 19 až 25 let / Examination of respiratory disorders stereotypes and their effects on the musculoskeletal system PF JU students aged 19 to 25 years

MAREŠ, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The main task of this thesis was an examination of breathing stereotypes on selected students of Pedagogical faculty aged from 19 to 25. The other objective was to develop an intervention programme according to which the selected students participated in six weeks lasting workouts that were focused on breath training with consecutive heightening of their physical efficiency. A method of content analysis was used for analysing literature and a method of content synthesis was used for application of gathered information and for creating the intervention programme. For the examination of breathing stereotypes a muscle dynamometer was used which is able to record a movement dynamics and simultaneously to record a breathing activity dynamics. The vital capacity was measured through a forced expiratory vital capacity (FVC) when also a value of one second exhale was recorded (FEV1). This test was performed in standing upright position on the machine Spirometr Otthon, evaluation was processed in the Thorsoft programme. The study was participated by six students who at first passed out an entrance examination where the main values were defined, then the intervention programme and after the end of it the participants underwent a checking (output) examination. During processing of the thesis it was confirmed that the developed intervention programme, which is based on aerobic exercises and completed with resistance training, has a factual and statistical significant effect on strengthening the respiratory muscles which are activated by the diaphragmatic breathing within resting breathing and deepened breathing. For the determination of the substantive significance the Cohen's d was used, then the paired Student´s t test for dependent samples.

Stanovení nových referenčních hodnot maximálních inspiračních a expiračních tlaků a hodnot PO.1 u normální populace ve věkovém rozmezí 16 až 17 let / Definition of new referential values of maximum inspiratory and expiratory pressures and P0.1 values in normal population of the 16 - to - 17 age range

Kálalová, Tereza January 2014 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to define norms for inspiratory (Pimax) and expiratory (Pemax) pressures and mouth occlusion pressure (P0.1) in healthy white population of the 16-17 age group in the Czech Republic, specifically the capital city of Prague and its close vicinity. Furthermore, this work aspires to ascertain whether there is a correlation between the respiratory pressures, P0.1 and selected anthropometric and pulmonary values. In order to define the norms, 79 children were tested, including 41 boys and 38 girls 16 to 17 years old. After establishing the subjects' case histories, anthropometric, spirometric inspiratory, expiratory and forced vital capacity measurements were made. The study defined the norms of respiratory pressures and P0.1 in 16 to 17-year-old boys and girls, thus achieving its main goal. Furthermore, a difference was found between the average measured Pimax and Pemax values for boys and girls, with the boys showing higher values comparing with the girls. The study did not ascertain a correlation between respiratory pressures, P0.1 and selected anthropometric values (age, height, weight, BMI, BSA). No correlation was found between respiratory pressures and static pulmonary volumes. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Ošetřovatelská péče o pacienty s traumatem hrudníku / Nursing care for patients with a chest trauma.

HORÁKOVÁ, Magdaléna January 2012 (has links)
Injuries to the chest together with damage to the chest organs are among the most frequent injuries in common life. These traumas are often combined with another injury, or they are classified as polytraumas. Care for such patients is provided mainly by trauma centres due to the necessary complex, multi-stage treatment. In the event of an injury to the chest, the chest wall or internal organs in the ribcage may also be injured. These include especially the heart, lungs, main blood vessels, bronchi and throat. A chest injury may endanger the client?s life due to an immediate or potential risk of cardiopulmonary failure. The mechanisms of injury include contusion, compression and deceleration. Injuries may be isolated, multiple or classified as polytraumas. Treatment may be conservative as well as surgical. In most cases, the injuries are non-penetrating. Injuries may be caused by direct force (for example collision with a steering wheel, collision with the ground during a fall, a received blow) or indirect force (deceleration). Chest drainage is an often applied solution. During this medical operation, the drain is inserted into the pleural sac to remove pathologic content. This diploma thesis has been elaborated using the questionnaire method. Data were collected in selected trauma centres of the Czech Republic. 182 questionnaires were processed. Results of the research are processed in the form of graphs and contingency tables. Three hypotheses were defined to achieve the objectives. Hypothesis 1: Nurses have knowledge of the principles of care for patients with active chest breathing. Hypothesis 2: Nurses have knowledge of the principles of care for patients with passive chest breathing. Hypothesis 3: Nurses cooperate with rehabilitation therapists. We have managed to confirm all the hypotheses in our research investigation and thus meet the defined objectives. The research shows that nurses have knowledge of the principles of care for patients with active and passive chest breathing, and that they cooperate with physiotherapists. A nursing standard was created for nurses who focus on patients with applied chest drainage. This thesis may also serve as study material.
