Individual measures of attitudes were complied to develop an overall scale measuring respondent's attitudes toward marriage. The sample for this study was comprised of 504 undergraduate students. The proportion of respondents whose parents bad dissolved their marriages was approximately one-third. Bivariate analyses revealed significant attitude differences for variations in family structure.
