Šprta, Marian January 2007 (has links)
The task of a work is to search and report on Hannah Arendt's conception of a maturity. This topic emerges in her work at describing her great issue, common crisis of modern world, which ended up in a totalitarian 20th century systems, how she declares at her papers Between past and future. This problem of philosophical anthropology and philosophy of education (Hannah Arendt didn't consider herselves as a philosopher or educationalist however) consecutively we must observe in broader context of her basic and the most systematic work The Human Condition, which can give us a Arendt's philosophical and political thinking concepts and terms. At rudimentary parts of the thesis we deal with her topic of break of tradition, which lead to mulling over basic pillar columns of tradition, commenced at ancient Rome, at first rate history, then religion, freedom, culture, authority, education. On the last one is visible her understanding of maturity. We are reporting problem of personality at her thinking likewise, which was influenced by phenomenology. Centrum of personality is "Who", unknowable to himself, disclosing sensually to other threw action and speaking so that in action in adulthood.

Krchová, Eva January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the topic of motivating workers, particularly on two groups of workers - workers in the life period of young adulthood and workers in the period of late middle adulthood. In the introduction the reason for chosing this topic is explained, there are also defined the key words of this problematic and the classic motivation theories; the overview of the motivation theories focused on work environment follow afterwards. Also the findings of developmental psychology, concentrating on the life period of young and late middle adulthood and its differences are presented. Not only the classic literature was the source for this thesis; also many researches that were carried out in recent years and that are focusing on finding out the main difference of motivation of these different groups of workers were the base for this thesis. In the last part of this work I analyse my own findings that are based on the interviews I made with young and older workers and I compare these findings with the findings presented in the international researches. Finally, I state that even though there are some differences in factors that motivate young and older workers and it is necessary to take these differences into account, in the elemental aspects the factors that motivate workers are the same for...

Hodnoty a spokojenost mladých dospělých / Values and life satisfaction of young adults

Boubelová, Adéla January 2018 (has links)
This master thesis focuses on values and life satisfaction of young adults. Theoretical part defines the concept of the terms "values", "life satisfaction", and "early adulthood". After that, results of the existing research on the topic of values and life satisfaction are introduced. Quantitative section of the empirical part examines the correlation between the level of importance of 23 values and the level of satisfaction in 23 different areas of life. Data sample consisted of 726 young adults. Quantitative section is followed by a qualitative research to compensate for deficiencies of the quantitative method. Results showed that 19 out of 23 areas have a statistically significant correlation between the level of value's importance and the level of satisfaction in the relevant area of life. One area of life manifested a statistically significant negative correlation. This research initiates a challenge to examine the relationship between the level of values' importance and the level of satisfaction in the respective areas of life more thoroughly. Keywords: values, life satisfaction, early adulthood

Dospívání a dospělost v Čechách (Vynořující se dospělost očima mladých lidí a jejich matek) / Growing up and adulthood in the Czech Republic (Emerging adulthood through the eyes of emerging adults and their mothers)

Marčíková, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
The presented dissertation focuses on the process of transition into adulthood through the eyes of young people and the eyes of their mothers. The research study is based on the theory of J.J. Arnett, who identified a new development period "emerging adulthood" [Arnett, 1998]. We use three different perspectives to look at the process of transition into the adulthood: Developmental psychological, sociological and cultural-anthropological. Description of each period associated with the transition to adulthood is extended by the context of a family in which a young person is raised, and by a culture in which the person grows. By introducting these three perspectives in the first part we are creating a theoretical framework for the empirical part of our work. In the empirical part the qualitative study is presented. As the research method semistructured in-depth interview with young Czechs and their mothers was used. Our goal was to understand the perception of the notion of adulthood by young people aged 18 to 30 years and the way they describe their own process of transition into the adulthood. We wanted to determine whether young Czechs show signs of "emerging adulthood." We were also interested in how the relationship between a mother and her offspring, the upbringing, and the cultural context influence...

Musilová, Barbora January 2012 (has links)
Diplomová práce: Životní situace vysokoškolských studentů z hlediska dospělosti (Life situation of university students in terms of adulthood) Zpracovala: Barbora Musilová Abstract Diploma thesis " Life situation of university students in terms of adulthood" aims to show how young people currently studying university perceive their life situation and how much they feel to be adults. The thesis seeks the answers in qualitative analysis of students of Prague universities. Theoretical background of empirical part is formed by theories of present time analysts which highlight the variability and instability of social conditions. The result of this instability is that there are shifts of the timing of life events in the life cycles and challenging the traditional definition of adulthood as defined for example, independent living and marriage. Trends in the life of young students, such as prolonged studies or leaving home parents in late time point to a new stage, which haven't been in the life paths of previous generations. Living situation of young university students is not only extending the transition to adulthood, but the independent stage, which also raises the need to redefine the earlier definition of valid adulthood.

Charakteristiky nastupující dospělosti v populaci vysokoškolských studentů a zaměstnaných, nestudujících mladých lidí / Characteristics of emerging adulthood in the population of university students and non-student employed young people

Kozderková, Barbora January 2013 (has links)
This thesis compares certain developmental characteristics and value preferences of emerging adult university students and non-student employed young people at the age between 19-25 years in the Czech republic. According to some authors this life stage seems to be a new developmental period between adolescence and young adulthood. In comparison to the USA there has not been much research done on this topic in the Czech Republic. There are some special characteristics of this phase of life that are described in the theoretical part, and tested on a sample of Czech young people which is showed in the empirical part of this thesis. The differences of how students and non- students experience this time of life are compared. It is assumed that student life style brings different impulses than the life style of employed young people. The aim of this thesis was to test the assumption that university students show the features of emerging adulthood more plentifully than people at the same age who work. According to the results of this study the assumption was confirmed. Another focus of this thesis is the topic of value orientation among this sample of young people. Value orientation is influenced by life style and is formed especially during adolescence and young adulthood. Certain types of value...

Využití MMPI-2 v diferenciální diagnostice Aspergerova syndromu a schizofrenie / Using the MMPI-2 in Differential Diagnostic of Asperger's Syndrome and Schizofrenia

Adámková, Jana January 2015 (has links)
The main target of this study is to identify the scales in MMPI-2 which could help the differential diagnostic process between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. Adult persons with Asperger's syndrome and adult persons with schizophrenia were examined. The study has a quantitative character, concretely data mining, which offers generating and verifying hypothesis. The results show that configuration of heights of specific scales can be crucial in distinguishing between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. In the concrete we expect increase in 0Si, Sc1, Pa2 and OBS along with medial T-scores in Sc6, Pa1, Psyc and Biz in protocols of people with Asperger's syndrome. People with schizophrenia have increased T-scores in Sc6, Pa1, Psyc and Biz. KEY WORDS  Asperger's syndrome  Schizophrenia  Differential diagnostic  Adulthood  MMPI-2
