Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur lärare bedömer elever inom etik med särskild fokus på värdegrundskonflikter. För att uppnå studiens syfte har det gjorts kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer där fyra verksamma lärare har deltagit. Det centrala i studien är lärarnas resonemang kring frågorna samt likheter och skillnader i deras svar. Vid genomförandet av intervjuerna samt analysen av det empiriska materialet har hermeneutiken som teori varit utgångspunkten. Resultatet är uppdelat i sex kategorier utifrån forskningsfrågorna. Vid resultatet har det framkommit att det finns många utmaningar med bedömningen i etik samt att lärarna bedömer eleverna på olika sätt.
