Motivace dospělých k celoživotnímu vzdělávání / Motivating Adults to Lifelong Learning

The diploma paper characterizes what motivates adults for lifelong learning. The theoretical part provides you a comprehensive overview about adulthood, lifelong learning of adults, and about motivation itself. First of all, the diploma work defines adulthood , and it focuses on developmental and professional parts of it. Then, it provides you an integrated idea about lifelong learning of adults, it especially focuses on the basic terminology, an overview about lifelong learning, the educational system in ČR and other types/cathegories of lifelong learning. Then, the paper defines motivation, connecting it with Maslow´s theory and assigning it with lifelong learning. It focuses for example on the system of benefits and gains, which is closely connected with lifelong learning. The practical part evaluates quantitative research methods. According to this kind of research technique I used a questionnaire for surveying what adults think about lifelong learning, which form of lifelong learning they prefer, and what motivates them for lifelong learning.

This thesis aims to analyze the systems of education of employees in private companies, specifically in a company that is conducting in the insurance busines and their employees have very high expectations. Poorly and unprofessionaly led training programes for new and existing employees, may have improving effect on the development of these employees work as well as personal, and thus have a negative impact on the future of such employee in the company. Such a situation leads to an increase in fluctuation of costs that are associated with the costs of recruitment, training staff, as well as payroll and other expenses.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual framework of education management in peer-reviewed journals. The theoretical part is focused on the summary of the existing knowledge about all contexts related to the field of education management from the point of view of the time perspective. It draws on both foreign and domestic sources. Attention will also be paid to the current issue of terminologically uninterrupted important educological terms related to the management of education. Further chapters will focus on educational theories, leadership perspectives in education, lifelong learning, adult education and senior education. The research part is focused on the content analysis of the Czech peer- reviewed pedagogical journals Pedagogika, Pedagogická orientace and Studia paedagogica. Its aim is to analyze how the conceptual framework of education management in the years 2000-2017 developed in them. Based on the analysis, answers will be sought on the areas of management of education and the subject to which the most attention is paid, which topics are most frequently addressed in relation to adult education and senior citizens, how the frequency of these topics has evolved, and whether there are some common patterns among the magazines analyzed. (in English): This thesis is dedicated to projects of lifelong learning in Czech public libraries. Its aim is to examine to what extent Czech public libraries are devoted to lifelong learning, especially retiree education, and further, to analyze specific educational projects. Considering the demographic development of the Czech population, there is highlighted the importance and the significance of organizing such programs in the libraries. The first part of the thesis presents theoretical basis and explains terms such as lifelong learning and education, learning society, and formal, non-formal, and informal education. Another part of the thesis deals with gerontopedagogy and old age pensioners. Specific forms of adult education are also presented here. In the practical part, there is an analysis of educational projects of libraries and the questionnaires of the participants are evaluated.
