The purpose of this study was twofold. The first purpose was to identify and determine the degree of satisfaction experienced by selected groups of international students at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. The second purpose was to analyze and interpret the data collected in relation to selected demographic variables. The following hypotheses were devised to guide the interpretation of the data findings. 1. There will be a significant difference in the degree of satisfaction with university administration among the three selected groups of N.T.S.U. international students. 2. There will be a significant difference in the degree of satisfaction with university faculty among the three selected groups of N.T.S.U. international students. 3. There will be a significant difference in the degree of satisfaction with fellow students among the three selected groups of N.T.S.U. international students.

Lifelong education of general nurses has been permanently a very current and topical issue, especially in connection with the necessity to introduce new standards of education of non- medical health professionals following the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union, in connection with implementation of the Act No. 96/2004 Coll., on conditions of acquiring and recognizing professional qualifications to perform non-medical health care professions, in connection with amendments of this legislation which brought about not only changes into the way of lifelong education but also increased the competences of nurses, but also in connection with preparation of a new legislation which shall replace the Act No. 96/2004 Coll. on non-medical health professions, and shall, due to dissatisfaction with the existing system, completely alter the concept of both professional and lifelong education. This degree thesis deals with the issues of lifelong education of general nurses. The main objective is to map the issues of lifelong education of general nurses and determine the level of satisfaction with lifelong education of general nurses, namely of general nurses working in hospitals within the Region of Karlovy Vary. Title: Sport, health and physical self-concept of grammar school students Objectives: Main goal of this thesis was to analyze the relation to one's own body in youth at the age of 17. The research should analyze physical activities, physical self-concept and the health of grammar school students. These results were compared to data from 20 years ago. Methods: All the data presented in the empirical part of this thesis were obtained through a questionnaire survey among second year high school students. In total, 300 students, including 193 girls and 107 boys, took part in the survey. A standardized questionnaire was used and was taken from international research Sport, Health and Physical Concepts in Central and Eastern Europe (Mrázek, Fialová, Bychovskaja, 1998). The acquired data were recorded in writing, graphically processed and subsequently evaluated. Furthermore, the collected data were compared with the data presented in two diploma theses 20 years ago (Mešejdová, 1998), (Pavlíková, 199). Results: According to the data obtained, teenagers are aware of the influence sport and overall healthy lifestyle have on their health.
