Sociální podnik z pohledu zaměstnanců se zdravotním postižením / Social enterprise from the perspective of employees with disabilities

Hejzlarová, Veronika January 2016 (has links)
Social economy is a widely discussed topic in the Czech Republic and other states at the moment. This is mainly thanks to its positive impact on the employment of disadvantaged persons and their integration into the society, which is in many cases very difficult and the state fails to provide for it. The support for disadvantaged persons and their entering open job market is still struggling and the tools that the engaged parties try to use do not always work. Social enterprise is one of the possible solutions to this problem. The thesis's theoretical part outlines the topic of social enterprise taking into account both external (legislation, funding, legal forms) and internal (disadvantaged persons employment specifics, organizational culture, employees mentoring and development) factors that affect the way social enterprises work. The practical part uses qualitative research to focus on the opinions of persons with disabilities and executives on the development of social enterprises employees and their possible transfer to the open job market. It summarizes the recommendations for development of their employees' competences so that the system would be as permeable as possible and the employment of the disadvantaged persons as high as possible. Keywords: development of people with disabilities,...

Sociální podnikání jako příležitost pro uplatnění starších osob na trhu práce / Social Entrepreneurship as an Opportunity for the Employment of Older People on the Labor Market

Holasová, Lenka January 2017 (has links)
(in English) The aim of this master's thesis is to find out possibilities of elderly people employment in social businesses in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes a social entrepreneurship, defines it and gives its legal frame and examples of such businesses in Europe and in the Czech Republic. The elderly are defined according to their characteristics and also according to the possible link to long term unemployment. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the overall situation of the elderly in social businesses and on factors possibly affecting their employment in this kind of businesses. It was found out in the research that the selected target group is one of those most at risk on the labour market. At the same time, this group is one of the least supported and monitored not only in the social businesses. However, persons 50+ may become a significant group on the labour market in the future. The final part of this thesis stresses out that it is vital to change our point of view on this target group and their support on the field of active labour market policy, but, above all, to make use of the opportunity to employ these people in social entrepreneurship. Keywords (in English) social economy, social entrepreneurship, social business, elderly, people 50+, long term...

"Má dáti dar" / The morality of the gift

Stehlíková, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
The thesis looks at the gift and at what kind of morality allows contemporary gift-giving. It is based on ethnographic research that focuses on a "generous social network" Hearth.net. This network was founded by the entrepreneur, philanthropist and buddhist Libor Malý. His goal is to fulfill the vision of improving interpersonal relationships and creating an economic system that is able to complement the existing market economy in the case of a crisis. This system also requires a change of paradigm into the paradigm of generosity and kindness. Adato Paradigma Group and the Ambassadors, who are the most active users of Hearth, help Libor Malý in fulfilling this goal. Hearth is a space where users can offer and receive gifts without an expectation of a counter-gift. The gift should be the tool that will allow the paradigm shift. The new paradigm of generosity and kindness is seen here as a cosmology based above all on the values of generosity and kindness, which is influenced mainly by the spirituality of Libor Malý. At the same time, this paradigm of generosity and kindness forms the moral basis for gift-giving within the Hearth network. Nevertheless, in the final form, the gift is determined by the moral assemblage of three moral dimensions (Zigon 2010). The thesis therefore is analyzing the...

Porozumění konceptu 'Společenské odpovědnosti firem' - univerzální vs. regionální úroveň v Jižní Americe / Understanding of the concept 'Corporate Social Responsibility' - universal vs. regional level in South America

Pavlovičová, Natália January 2019 (has links)
This master thesis elaborates on the question whether there is a difference in the understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the universal level and on the regional level in South America. It is built upon the dichotomy of the recent movement in the CSR field that seeks to answer both emerging transnational challenges in a coordinated way while delivering a significant impact on the local level. The analysis is performed using the method of content analysis. Two major aspects of CSR are analyzed - the way the nature of CSR is defined and the prominence of the issues that CSR should address. Based on the results of the content analysis, we identify major trends in the understanding of CSR on both levels and determine the scope of the difference between them. Regarding the differences, we find one common denominator that is dominant on both levels - institutions and governance. In other categories we observe a high variability of the prominence across analysed levels. The important trends revealed in the thesis is a high penetration of South America with foreign CSR institutions and a significant impact of a membership in a global CSR organization on how CSR is communicated by a member organization on the regional level.

Mezinárodní dopady katalánských snah o nezávislost / International impact of Catalonia independence efforts

Zamlar, Patrick January 2019 (has links)
The master's thesis International impact of Catalonia independence efforts aims to analyze what is the international impact caused by Catalonia's efforts to separate from Spain. It does so by establishing theoretical framework of Conflict theory and internationalized conflicts. Within this framework, the Catalonia's case is examined. The thesis provides wide and extensive background on Catalan independence in order to understand how independence efforts in Catalonia emerged and evolved. The thesis also explains the means which are used by Catalan representatives in order to promote the independence internationally. Brief comparative examples of other regions within Europe are provided (with one notable mention outside of European continent) which seek for independence, as some of the features are common for all of them. Later on, the thesis features analytical part in which international impacts of Catalonia's strive for independence are examined. Those include e.g. effects on the European Union, other separatist regions, and more. Important explanation is offered about possible economic consequences with the usage of quantitative data. The thesis in its final stage applies conflict theory on Catalonia's case. It also uses all the before explained historical background. It concludes with assessment...

Integrační sociální podnik jako nástroj aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti / Work Integration Social Enterprise as a Tool of an Active Employment Policy.

Dudáková, Zuzana January 2014 (has links)
Social economy is a quickly developing segment of the national economy worldwide. An increasing number of both profit and non-profit organisations in the Czech Republic adhere to the principles of social economy. The legislation for social enterprises has not been drafted yet, which, first, is a drag on the development of social enterprising in the private sector, and, second, hampers its acknowledgement on the part of government institutions which, lacking the legal framework, are not capable of working with this phenomenon. Hence, a legal framework should be the first step towards support to social enterprising, in particular a framework on social integration enterprises employing people with a remarkably restricted access to the labour market. The goal of this thesis is to assess the validity of formerly proposed indicators to identify the characteristic features of social enterprises for the Czech Republic and to present proposals for potential adjustments to them. The thesis also identifies areas in which support to social enterprises is necessary so that they would be able to comply with the individual indicators. Keywords Indicator, people disadvantaged on the labour market, social economy, social enterprise, work integration social enterprise, social entrepreneur.

Využití metod soft computingu jako podpory pro rozhodování při řízení podniku / The use of soft computing as support for business decision-making

Pekárek, Jan January 2019 (has links)
The presented dissertation deals with the problem of deploying the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Czech Republic. The core of the thesis is a mathematical optimization model, which is implemented in the language of MATLAB computing software. The model consists of several sub-units representing separate models of studied sub-problems. The individual chapters of the work describe successively these sub models. The sub models are: demand model of the charging service, model of charging supply, charging simulator model, optimization model and its resolving optimization method. The optimization model is accelerated by parallelization on the graphics card. The optimization method is designed as a case-specific implementation of genetic algorithms on a population of tree-structured individuals. The final chapter deals with an economic aspect of the problem under consideration, the implications of the findings and the role that the optimization model plays in the context under consideration. The main benefit of the work lies in the formulation of the problem as a mathematical model, the accompanying analyses and the provided justifications. Any user with updated data can then use this work along with the attached scripts to find answers to questions about the relationship between electromobility and the charging infrastructure.
