The problems with the environmental damage valuation which are caused by the stationary sources belong to the important issues to be solved. Due to the heavy industrial activity in the Czech Republic it is important to pay attention to the possible risks which can emerge from these sources and can impact the environment and the health condition of people. The thesis deals with the analysis of the present state of this problem. The analysis of the risks which come from the specific situation is made on its basis. The goal of this thesis is to propose the general procedure of the valuation of the incurred damage on the environment and the minimization of the risks.

The construction of hydroelectric developments Dreher and Kotzian, located in Salto do Jacu?? and J??lio de Castilhos - RS, respectively, promote direct impacts on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and, therefore, affect the general welfare of individuals. These areas directly affected, due to its characteristics of non-rivalry and non-enclosing, are public goods. The contingent valuation method consists in a technique that allows determining the economic value of a public good. In summary, this investigation aims to determine the economic value of the area directly affected by the construction of hydroelectric developments. Also sought in the research, identify and analyze the participants' perception about the construction of dams and the use of natural resources. To achieve our goals, we applied 916 questionnaires, 476 residents in the city of Salto do Jacu?? and 440 residents in Julio de Castilhos. The results showed that family income, age, education, the bid amount offered are important variables to explain the probability of an individual is willing to contribute to the recovery, conservation and environmental protection of the area directly affected by the construction of small hydroelectric - PCH. It was evident that, in the design of the respondents, the hierarchy of needs was an important factor in development of their perceptions. / A valora????o ambiental ?? um importante instrumento para a determina????o do valor de bens que n??o possuem mercado definido. The aim of this thesis is to find out the financial gain of the integrated system of management quality, human safety and environment by the valuation of the company. My thesis includes the evaluation of the efficiency of integrated system of management quality, human safety and environment and after that there is included the valuation of the company in two versions. The first version reflects the real situation, the company has implemented the integrated system of management quality, human safety and environment. The second version reflects the hypothetical situation, in this settings the company wouldn't have the integrated system. The difference between these two valuation is the financial gain of this system.
