No. of bitstreams: 1 Renata Gonçalves Mendes Cosenza.pdf: 15118809 bytes, checksum: bf8aa641e134a48dbca063f58e32ff1a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-11-10 / This present paper proposes a study in the scope of research in a project related to the architectures that generate open spaces of collective use and critical and referenced readings of architectural contemporary works, with emphasis on three cases: Praça das Artes (2012) in São Paulo – Brazil, The Museum of Memory and Human Rights (2010) in Santiago – Chile and the Sony Center (2000) in Berlin – Germany, which will be analyzed by graphic and textual methods. The dissertation tries to identify the major project characteristics and strategies of the “architectures that generate open and collective spaces” about the configuration and relation with the open space and articulation with the city, aiming at contributing to a more focused reflection and look over the role of architecture in the shaping of public spaces and of design strategies that point towards the dialogue with the city.
