Evoluční optimalizace analogových obvodů / Evolutionary Optimisation of Analogue CircuitsMihulka, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this work was to create a system for optimisaton of specific analog circuits by evolution using multiple fitness functions . A set of experiments was run, and the results analyzed to evaluate the feasibility of evolutionary optimisation of analog circuits . A requirement for this goal is the study and choice of certain types of analog circuits and evolutionary algorithms . For the scope of this work , amplifiers and oscillators were chosen as target circuits , and genetic algorithms and evolutionary strategies as evolutionary algorithms . The motivation for this work is the ongoing effort to automate the design and optimisation of analog circuits , where evolutionary optimisation is one of the options .

Principy a aplikace neuroevoluce / Neuroevolution Principles and ApplicationsHerec, Jan January 2018 (has links)
The theoretical part of this work deals with evolutionary algorithms (EA), neural networks (NN) and their synthesis in the form of neuroevolution. From a practical point of view, the aim of the work is to show the application of neuroevolution on two different tasks. The first task is the evolutionary design of the convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture that would be able to classify handwritten digits (from the MNIST dataset) with a high accurancy. The second task is the evolutionary optimization of neurocontroller for a simulated Falcon 9 rocket landing. Both tasks are computationally demanding and therefore have been solved on a supercomputer. As a part of the first task, it was possible to design such architectures which, when properly trained, achieve an accuracy of 99.49%. It turned out that it is possible to automate the design of high-quality architectures with the use of neuroevolution. Within the second task, the neuro-controller weights have been optimized so that, for defined initial conditions, the model of the Falcon booster can successfully land. Neuroevolution succeeded in both tasks.

Optimalizace návrhu velkých technologických celků / Optimization of large technology compound designKrňávek, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the optimization of the structural design of large technology compounds. The main emphasis is placed on the participation of available optimization instruments in the design of supporting structures of these constructions. The introductory part is primarily focused on the optimization itself. In this part are further specified also used optimization methods, computational finite element method, implemented code checks and calculation of cost of construction. The main part is dedicated to application of optimization procedure for the design of steel supporting structure of the auxiliary technological object of thermal power plant. The objective criterium shall then constitute the total cost of construction works along with operating costs. For the solution is used Scia Engineer software together with optimization module Scia Engineer Optimization Toolbox. The whole analysis is presented comprehensively from the description of computational model to results evaluation. The attention is paid to the optimization task settings, technical solution of optimization, optimization methods deployment and during the calculation process (especially to the development of objective function values and desing constraints during the optimization solution).

Evoluční řešení Rubikovy kostky / Evolutionary Solving of Rubik's CubeKollner, Aleš January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with solving of the Rubik's cube. It describes the Rubik's cube and the famous methods for its composition. The main goal of this work is to propose an evelutionary method that for any configuration of blocks will lead to its composition. The theis describes the problem encoding, the proposed evelutionary algorithm and its proper configuration and deployment. The achieved results are commented on and compared with other known mehtods in conclusions.

Červená královna / The Red QueenKrálík, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
Red Queen is a chess piece on the story of Alice in Wonderland, which is constantly running to hold it in place, because the world around it is constantly in motion. Therefore, it is a symbol of the theory of evolution, a constant necessity innovation and the eternal escape from competitors. Red Queen's Race is constructed into a miniature civilization, or rather one growing superorganism, which constantly oscillates between the digital and the physical world. The main consciousness of this association is black majestically looking server that supplies with his computing power and energy all attached printers. They are designed specifically for this purpose, such as abstraction of robotics industry, with an emphasis on a functionally aesthetic form, in yellow-orange color of heavy industrial machinery. The most important and largest part of this system, are entities which printers materialize. They are created according to a living creature of this world, generated by computer, based on a unique code, which is the result of calculating the evolutionary recombination, processed by the server, depending on the reactions of outside observers at the objects which are already created. Sense of each entity is attract attention. How much more, the greater is the chance to continue their code in future generations.

Strategie rostlin v podzemní kompetici - náhled skrze teorii her / Plant strategies in belowground competition - insight through game theorySmyčka, Jan January 2015 (has links)
In recent decades, it was shown that belowground competition for some plants may take form of the tragedy of the commons (TOC). In these plants, the competing neighbours invest more in root systems than would be appropriate for optimal nutrient uptake for the group and also more than they do when grown alone. However, there is also strong evidence that other species do not follow TOC, and tailor their root system to best nutrient exploitation irrespectively of competitor presence. The root investment strategy of these plants should correspond to the ideal free distribution (IFD). In my thesis I focus on two aspects: I use game theoretical models to explore, whether those strategies can coexist within species and also whether different species can coexist if they have different strategy. From this model I draw predictions, which I test by meta-analysis. Using Agrostis stolonifera as a model, I test assumptions on nutrient and neighbour perception, which underlie TOC and IFD models. I show that according to mathematical models, those two strategies can coexist in different species in a community, but cannot coexist within a species. Within a species, the TOC strategy should always dominate, once it appears. This can be extrapolated to macroevolutionary scale - once TOC occurs in certain clade, it should...

Buditel, historik, apologeta Matěj Procházka (1811-1889) / Revivalist, historian, apologist Matěj Procházka (1811-1889)Řeháková, Veronika January 2019 (has links)
in English The following work is about Matěj Procházka (1811-1889), an important figure of national and ecclesiastical life in Moravia in 19th century and a member of the circle around Professor František Sušil, the-so-called Sušilova družina. The detailed biography presented here is the result of historical research into resource materials from several different archives in Moravia. This work examines three main periods of Procházka's life. He spent his childhood and student years, firstly, in his native town of Brtnice, then in Jihlava and Brno. After ordination, he served as a priest for sixteen years in different parishes of Brno diocese. Then he lived in Brno for nearly forty years while working as a secondary grammar school teacher and catechist and being involved in different activities, such as the Czech national revival, Catholic associations, education, and especially, publishing. This work maps the importance of the personage of Matěj Procházka as seen by his contemporaries and by following generations up to the present. It also brings out the overall characteristics of this priest. A part of this study is a new and enlarged bibliography of Procházka's works, as writer, journalist, translator, reviewer, poet, and author of scientific and scholarly treatises. In his works, he covered a...

Hardwarová akcelerace algoritmu pro hledání podobnosti dvou DNA řetězců / Hardware Acceleration of Algorithms for Approximate String MatchingNosek, Ondřej January 2007 (has links)
Methods for aproximate string matching of various sequences used in bioinformatics are crucial part of development in this branch. Tasks are of very large time complexity and therefore we want create a hardware platform for acceleration of these computations. Goal of this work is to design a generalized architecture based on FPGA technology, which can work with various types of sequences. Designed acceleration card will use especially dynamic algorithms like Needleman-Wunsch and Smith-Waterman.
