The characterization of these samples was made through Raman spectroscopy, making a mapping of the samples and analyzing the frequency difference between the vibrational modes E2g e A1g, it is possible to determine the number of layers to be transferred. Also, it was required to prepare a layered substrate of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) and PMMA (Polymethyl- methacrylate), so that it was possible to remove the nanomaterial from the glass substrate and deposit it on another surface. Furthermore, it was performed control and alignment of the material with the core of the fiber, using a stage XYZ and an optical microscope (10X lens). An application for the fabricated samples was demonstrated through the generation of ultrashort pulses in EDFL (Erbium-doped fiber lasers) and YDFL (Ytterbium-doped fiber lasers) using them as saturable absorbers. The best results obtained were a pulse duration of 810 femtoseconds and bandwidth of 4.09 nm using mechanically exfoliated MoS2 on the fiber facet and pulse duration of 200 fs and bandwidth of 20,5 nm on the D-shaped fiber. In the samples on the fiber facet was the presence of NPR (Nonlinear Polarization Rotation) resulting in a hybrid effect. Results of ultrashort pulses with mechanically exfoliated MoS2 have not yet been reported in the literature. / Neste trabalho, foi realizada a caracterização, transferência e fabricação de amostras de MoS2 (dissulfeto de molibdênio) esfoliado micromecanicamente depositado na face transversal de uma fibra óptica e na superfície polida de uma fibra de perfil D. A caracterização destas amostras foi feita por meio de espectroscopia Raman, realizando um mapeamento das amostras e analisando a diferença entre os picos dos modos vibracionais E2g e A1g, sendo possível determinar o número de camadas a serem transferidas. Para realizar a transferência do material, foi prepararado um substrato com camadas de PVA (álcool polivinílico) e PMMA (Poli-metil-metacrilato), para que o nanomaterial fosse retirado do substrato de vidro e depositado em outra superfície. Além disso, foi realizado o controle e o alinhamento deste material com o núcleo da fibra, utilizando um estágio XYZ e um microscópio óptico (lente de 10X). Como aplicação das amostras fabricadas, foi demonstrada a geração de pulsos ultracurtos em EDFL (Erbium-doped fiber lasers) e YDFL (Ytterbium-doped fiber lasers) utilizando-as como absorvedor saturável. Os melhores resultados obtidos foram, a duração de pulso de 810 femtossegundos com largura de banda de 4,09 nm utilizando MoS2 esfoliado micromecanicamente e depositado na face transversal da fibra e pulsos de 200 fs e largura de banda de 20,5 nm depositado na superfície polida da fibra D. Nas amostras na face transversal verificou-se a presença de NPR (Nonlinear Polarization Rotation) ocasionando em um efeito híbrido de NPR com as amostras de MoS2. Resultados de pulsos ultracurtos com MoS2 esfoliado micromecanicamente ainda não foram reportados na literatura.
