Hardwarová akcelerace filtrace obrazu / Hardware Acceleration of Image Filtering

This master's thesis contains introduction to image filtration problems, especially to theoretical outlets, whose origin lies in linear systems theory and mathematical function analysis. There are described some approaches and methods which are used to image smoothing and for edge detection in an image. Mainly Sobel operator, Laplace operator and median filter are covered. The main contents of this project is discussion of some approaches of hardware acceleration of image filtering and design of time effective software and hardware implementations of filters in a form of program functions and combinational circuits using theoretical knowledges about time complexity of algorithms. Hardware and software implementation of named filters was done too. For every filter, time of filtration was measured and results were compared and analyzed.

This diploma thesis describes the design of new connections and modification of existing connections cover and housing of oil module for trucks. This connection must resist the effects of operating oil trucks modules. These effects include pressure pulsation, temperature fluctuations, vibrations and weather conditions. The most important is the resistance of cover to rotation and loss of tightness. The work includes research of different connections usable for this application. Other research focuses on the use of connection of other manufacturers in the market. The work included a proposal of possible solutions for the modification of cover and housing and their evaluation using specified criteria with rating matrix. The final part deals with the development of the three best evaluated proposed solution. For each solution is made as necessary calculations, drawings and next steps of implementation of individual solutions.

Utilization of additional information of the pulse for ALS data classification in ragged terrain Abstract The diploma thesis deals with airborne laser scanning filtering problem in sandstone landscape which is characterized by ragged terrain and in our country also by dense vegetation that makes difficult to transit laser pulse to terrain that can lead to lower accuracy of created DTM. In the first part the basic filtering algorithm that are systematic divided into several groups are described. The emphasis is also put on theoretic problems which we have to deal with during the filtering of laser scanner data acquired in sandstone landscape. The main goal of the thesis is to suggest changes in one of the existing algorithm to additional information of the pulse (mainly amplitude and width of the pulse) be used, and to test this method over the real data. This master thesis focuses on the influence of the filtration and the pasteurization on the content of the selected vitamins in beer. Specifically, the vitamin B2, B3, B6, B9 and B12. The high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector was used as a separation method for the vitamin content analysis. First this method was optimized and then validated. The data obtained by analyzing 28 beer samples were evaluated using a statistical method – the analysis of variance. This method provided parameters P, F and Fcrit which are important for the assessment of the statistically significant differences between the individual groups of beer . Based on these parameters, a significant effect of the filtration was observed for the vitamin B2 and B3. The filtration has reduced the amount of the vitamin B2 while it increased the concentration of the vitamin B3. The pasteurization had no significant effect on the vitamin content.

Doing decisions based on poor quality data can lead into fatal consequences in money business therefore data cleaning is necessary. The thesis describes adaptive data cleaning algorithm which is able to adapt current market conditions. According to design a modular plug-in application for data collecting, storing and following cleaning has been implemented.

Master thesis deals with analysis of single board PC which use Linux as operation system. Analysis of individual NIDS systems and examined their properties for choosing right candidate for single board computer which shall be used as network probe for analysis, filtering and logging of network traffic. Part of the work is aimed on development of a interface which is used for configuration of network probe through the web browser. Web interface allows perform basic operations over network probe which influence network traffic or specify, which information shall be logged. Subsequently network parsers were implemented for network protocols using the Scappy library. The conclusion of the thesis contains the design of the security cover for the device according to the IP54 requirements.

This work focuses on the research and comparison of several types of air purifiers. It clarifies the principles of filtration and describes the basic types of air purifiers. Part of this work is designed methodology of measurement for comparison of filtration efficiency and filtration rate. The experimental part of this work contains the measurement and comparison made for two types of air purifiers. Selected purifiers were De’Longhi AC230 with mechanical filters and ionic air purifier Ionic-CARE Triton X6. Within the framework of this work an experimental set-up was constructed in the home environment for the simulation of real conditions for the function of the air purifiers. The measurement results provide information about aerosol number concentration process during the measurements and evaluation of filtration efficiency of air purifiers.

Porézní přepážky na bázi partikulárních materiálů a anorganických pojiv / Porous elements based on granular materials and inorganic binders

Tato diplomová práce zkoumá možnosti tvorby porézních struktur za použití partikulárních materiálů pojených anorganickými pojivy bez dodatečné tepelné úpravy vypalováním. Jako základní pojiva byly použity portlandský a hlinitanový cement a pojiva na bázi alkalicky aktivovaného metakaolinu (geopolymeru). Jako základní kamenivo byl použit karbid křemíku v různých frakcích podle velikosti částic. Byly taktéž použity další zrnité materiály, např. křemenný písek anebo odpadních materiálů (mleté sklo a porcelán) roztříděných do frakcí podle velikosti částic. Byl sledován vliv složení a množství kameniva na vytváření porézní struktury a tím i na mechanické vlastnosti, které byly testovány pomocí mechanických zkoušek. Pevnostní zkoušky byly provedeny na trámečcích 20 × 20 × 100 mm připravených z testovacích směsí. Granulometrické a fázové složení vstupních surovin bylo studováno metodou laserové granulometrie resp. RTG difrakce. Porézní struktura byla studována metodami rtuťové porozimetrie, dále pomocí světelné a rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie a taktéž pyknometrickou metodou. V rámci charakterizace přepážek (terčíky o průměru 90 mm) připravených z jednotlivých materiálů bylo provedeno stanovení efektivní permeability průtokem vzduchu. Dále byly provedeny testy vzlínavosti kapaliny v připravených materiálech. V závěru práce byly provedeny pokusy o filtraci jemných suspenzí přes uvedené přepážky.
