Kan intensivträning av avkodningsförmåga förbättra läsförmågan hos lässvaga elever i årskurs 2? : En jämförande studie av träning enskilt och i par / Can intensive training of decoding ability improve the readings skills of poor readers in grade 2? : A comparative study between individual training and training in pairs

Bergstedt, Anita, Engens, Anna-Carin January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this study was to find out if intensive, explicit training in decoding skills for poor readers in the second grade primary school would improve their reading skills. The children were trained either individually or in pairs for a period of four weeks using Bravkod and Trugs as methods. A comparison was made between the two training methods; individual training and training in pairs. Eight children, four in each group participated in the study. The results of intervention showed that both groups improved their reading skills regardless of the training method. Intensive training in decoding ability gave good effects both in training in pairs and training individually. The results are discussed in relation to training methods, individually or in pairs, and in relation to pretest differences between the training groups.
