This thesis describes the construction development of residential real estate in the area of Brno - Stranice. It considers not only the description of the location and its history but also it describes the development of construction of the residential real estate in individual periods of time when the main attention is given to the period of the First Republic, in which the greatest construction development took place. Furthermore, this work describes the significant architectonic building works as well as the current construction and development of this location in the future. The main purpose of this thesis is to summarize the progress of the residential real estate construction in the location of Brno – Stranice since the beginning of the construction in the nineties of 19th century till present, when the construction is almost completed.

This Diploma thesis is dealing with development construction of residental real estates in the area of Brno – Černá Pole. It is concentrated on the development of real estate from the beginning of development in the sixties of 19th century till present. It is also include Černa Pole´s history. The work is divided into few construction periods, where is discribed in detail survey of the significant residental buildings. The highest quality development was during the First republic. Development of this area is almost finished in the seventies of 19th century and from this time it is mostly focused on building attics or reconstraction. The work contains maps, where we can see how was the area amplify.

The diploma thesis deals with architecture of financial institutions in Prague - banks, savings banks and insurance companies - from the middle of the 19th century (when the first representative headquarters of financial institution in Prague was built) to 1939. The research of the thesis is focused on territory of Prague New Town, which is included in town area of Prague 1, where the highest concentration of these financial buildings was in whole research period. The diploma thesis will register and interpret individual headquarters of financial institution in Prague in historical, economic and political context within the Czech lands and the Habsburg monarchy, then also within the Czechoslovak Republic; and in the context of urban and wider architectural development in Prague and Europe too. This work addresses the history, development and conservation of the Werkbund exhibition estates in Europe. Specifically, these are six housing estates built between 1927-1932 in Stuttgart, Brno, Wroclaw, Zurich, Vienna and Prague as part of exhibitions of modern living. The aim is to compare the development in individual cities and above all their preservation and the way of conservation and restoration. The first chapter deals with the formation of colonies and their differences. In the next part we deal with the fate and the structural changes during the war and the first post-war years until the first colony was declared a monument. The third chapter explains the developments in the 1960s and early 1980s, the beginnings of monument conservation and the first comprehensive renovation of the housing estates. The last chapter focuses on today's housing estates, today's approach to the restoration of functionalist architecture and its pitfalls. In all chapters, we managed to compare the development and to show the specifics of the individual files, which made it possible to specify why the colonies need to be protected, the extent to which they are preserved today, how much they are preserved, and what problems the building regeneration brings. This diploma thesis is focused on the rehabilitation of adjacent surroundings of the historical center of Kyjov and revitalizing public spaces. Part of the thesis are the analysis of the current condition of the solved and affected area, problems evaluation and values of the territory and draft of a new building structure along with a working transport solution. The main criterion for the choice of the area to be solved for me was the problem of this locality with conjunction to industry area of the mills and a very small percentage of the quality of the territory. The mill site occupies almost a quarter of the area and together with surrounding buildings, makes a large impassable barrier in the city. The draft seeks to respond to the functioning state of the site and to rehabilitate the surrounding environment. Another factor for the selection of the territory was the unused potential of the river side Kyjovka flowing through the area. This area hides many other problems and there is no quality architecture. My task was to combine all aspects of the area and make the most of it for the draft. A new functional neighborhood of housing with public spaces and amenities is being designed on the area. The draft include 2 new streets, 4 public spaces, pedestrian zone, Kyjovka riverside, 45 new buildings and 10 reconstructed buildings. The concept of the area also concerns the transfer of the existing main railway station. The draft is also aimed on the main problem of Kyjov, as a growing age population, the poor quality of services and commuting to work.

In the thesis is described in detail survey of the significant residential buidings, historically protected villas, construction of residential complex, thus the whole constructions and their development, transformations or expansion. The work is divided into few construction periods, while the biggest and the highest quality development was during the First Republic. Components of thesis are created maps of area, which describe urban pattern of locality and emplacement some residential objects. These maps are linked by analysis of development opportunities in construction, structural built-up urban area, however it must be said, that locality, from the aspect of other possible constructions is already largely in finish.

This thesis on historical development of the construction of residential buildings and its effect on market prices of dwellings currently in Liberec accompanies the issue of correlation between architectural styles and price currently. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts such as housing, housing stock, housing market and its failure, which follows the historical description of the construction of residential buildings. In other chapters of this part is talking about urban planning and housing policy. The practical part looks at this issue from the perspective of a particular town, which is Liberec. For him the basic information about the local conditions, history of architecture and subsequently through the commodities market tested real estate prices mentioned correlation and era of construction. The main source of research is in the thesis comparing average prices per m2 for each building type. During and at the end, the results are commented and compared.

The main task in this thesis is to prescribe the development of residential properties in the locality of Brno - Královo Pole. My diploma thesis is focusing on history of this quarter of the city until present. In the thesis is desribed in detail survey of the significant residentional buildings, construction of residentional complexes. Work us step by step through the development of these buildings from the beginning of construction on the territory to the possible future development in the area. In my thesis, there will be map drawings of the given area, old photographs of streets, residential and important civic buildings included. I would like to try to discover changes that have been made during recent years on the local building as well. In the end, I will also consider future building development opportunities in the built-up urban area.
