Geocaching a Ingress jako podpora cestovního ruchu ve vybrané lokalitě

This thesis introduces game Geocaching and an alternative game Ingress. Geocaching is currently very popular activity for tourists which is causing growth of environmental hazard due to increasing number of players around the world The theoretical part includes description of the game and the risks associated with it. The thesis presents also an alternative game Ingress, which is environmnetal friendly thanks to its virtual character. This thesis brings new routes in close surroundings of Radešín village for Geocaching and Ingress in order to increase attractivity of the place. A questionaire survey which is evaluated in the final section was designed to determine the awareness of Geocaching and Ingress and their impact on the environment.

Geocaching v mikroregionu Luhačovické Zálesí a návrh jeho využití v sociálním turismu

This thesis is focused on the level of geocaching in the Czech Republic and it is espe-cially concentrated on area of Luhačovické Zálesí. It deals with suitability of gaocaching for people with reduced mobility. In the theoretical section, it provides general information about the game and its development both worldwide and in the Czech Re-public. There is also described relationship between geocaching and social tourism with special poiting on disabled persons. In the practical part, results of the survey carried out among citizens of microregion Luhačovské Zálesí focusing on awareness and active participation in geocaching are analyzed and interpreted. Field verification of accessibi-lity of caches for disabled persons with level difficulty of 1.5 was also performed. The aim of the thesis is also to propose facilities, which can make access of the geocaching easier for disabled individuals.

The thesis Economic benefits of geocaching for specific community in the theoretical part describes Třebenice. This part also describes the characteristics of the community and its position, publications dealing with macroeconomics, there is explained the methodology determine the economic benefit and, ultimately, a description of geocaching. Based on the creation of new case and a questionnaire which was published for 8 months, it is detected economic benefits for the Třebenice from the people who came to the village primary for geocaching. On a selected sample of 10 people with a second questionnaire, it is also detected the economic benefits from people in the village, who did not come primarily for geocaching. On the bases of these results are being evaluated and found economic benefits for the Třebenice through the special forms of tourism with assistance geocaching.

Thesis describes the state of geocaching phenomena on the protected landscape area Beskydy. It focuses on detailed description of the cache network in the studied area. The theory focused on the terminology and typology of all existing caches is presented and along with the summary of historical evolution in the Czech Republic and other parts of the world. Important facts for hiding geocache in the protected landscape areas and their possible impacts on the landscape are defined. Thesis is composed of theoretical part which describes essential information needed for the experimental part which deals with the analysis of the obtained data. Important outputs and recommendations for Protected Landscape Area Administration Beskydy are presented in the final part the thesis.

Elektronický geocaching / Electronic geocaching

The goal is to design and implement a concept of electronic geocaching with contactless smart card and cell phone with NFC interface. In the first chapter I describe geocaching and try to familiarize the reader with this game. The second chapter deals with the issue of smart cards, I describe here the contact and contactless cards and their security. In the third chapter, I describe use and security of radio communication interface NFC. In the fourth chapter, I describe the principles of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography and selected cryptographic techniques. In the fifth chapter is description of proposed solution for electronic geocaching with digital signature. The last chapter describes all created applications.

Výuka hry geocaching v rámci volnočasových aktivit žáků na základních školách / Teaching the game of geocaching as a leisure activity at elementary school

Title: Teaching the game of geocaching as a leisure activity at elementary schools Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to promote the game of geocaching as an organised school activity for pupils of upper primary schools. To offer participants the activity they will learn to use in their free time. Methods: The research sample consisted of 32 students from upper primary schools in Prague 4 and Prague 9. There was a pedagogical worker in each group who was helping the students with four theoretical and practical lessons for one month. A questionnaire survey and interview with teachers were used as methods for obtaining data. The questionnaire was presented to the participants before the start of the project and then again one month after its completion. The interview with teachers was carried out only after the intervention. Results: The results of this thesis show that the project participants would like to participate in the game of geocaching in the future. Overall, about a quarter of those surveyed go in for geocaching in their free time, but only 6 % of them were devoted to it after the intervention. Due to the effect of the intervention programme, no demonstrable change of the measured values, obtained from the participants after the project completion, has occurred. Keywords: GPS,...

BACKGROUND: Recreational physical activity is of great importance to human health. Reduces the risk of disease and positively beneficial to the human body. Recreational physical activity is influenced by many factors, eg. Age, sex, place of residence, but also its form. OBJECTIVES: Create a project and presentation of a study on new forms of recreational physical activities focused on geocaching. METHODS: The research involved five families with children permanently living in the Czech Canada. Their task was a regular recreational tourism for the purpose of hunting caches. To obtain data was used informal conversation and as a complementary data collection and record sheet output questionnaire. RESULTS: All the families surveyed had a positive shift in recreational physical activity. The most common form of recreational physical activity was hiking as well as cycling. Thanks geocaching was for all investigated deepened relationship to nature and cultural sites.

The diploma thesis explores the possibility to employ geocaching as a tool in teaching the basics of local history and geography at primary schools. It aims at creating own designs to implement geocaching in teaching basics of local history and geography and basics of science, using practical examples in teaching about the region of Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis includes an analysis of the state of caches in Jindřichův Hradec (as a municipality with extended competence) and their usability within the proposed framework of teaching activities. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns basic geographical characteristics of the selected region and basic principles of geocaching. The implementation part of the thesis aims at designing possible activities in teaching about the local region with the use of geocaching. The resulting designs of the teaching activities are provided in the form of worksheets which are fully capable of being put into teaching practice and have been tested by the author at the II. ZŠ in Jindřichův Hradec.

This thesis aims to suggest the commercial use of geocaching in the Czech Republic, based on marketing situation analysis for the area of options. The first part of this thesis investigates theoretical basics of geocaching and its commercial use, strategic marketing and marketing research. The next part processes several case studies regarding the campaign of some subjects who have already used geocaching. For example, from foreign countries, it is Timberland and Chrysler Jeep, and from the Czech Republic, it is Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen or a project like Stratocaching. Finally, analysis of the market and of the tools of the subject's marketing communication is used to make a suggestion for the commercial use of geocaching. Based on previous findings, it is suggested in detail for the project Museum Fotoateliér Seidel to create two caches with a theme of photos by Josef and František Seidel, in which it would be parts of the set.
