Použití strukturální metody pro rozpoznávání objektů / Using structural method for objects recognition

Valsa, Vít January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with posibilities of using structural methods for recognition objects in a picture. The first part of this thesis describes methods for preparing the picture before processing. The core of the whole thesis is in chapter 3, where is analyzed in details the problem of the formation of deformation grammars for parsing and their using. In the next part is space for syntactic parser describing the deformation grammar. The conclusion is focused on testing the suggested methods and their results.

New Versions of Classical Automata and Grammars / New Versions of Classical Automata and Grammars

Soukup, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)

Svoboda, Jakub January 2021 (has links)
Title: Application of hierarchical graph grammars in procedural 3D world gen- eration Author: Jakub Svoboda Abstract: Procedural content generation (PCG) is an often-used technique in video games. It allows us to generate large quantities and permutations of con- tent. A common problem in utilizing PCG in level design is that it is challenging to generate content close to what a human would create in overall quality and structure. One way of solving these problems is using graph grammars to rep- resent relations in the game world. Implementing a working graph generator using graph grammars and applying it to generate worlds is not very well docu- mented. This thesis will try to overcome this problem by implementing such a generator and extending it to use hierarchical graph grammars. The generator will be used to generate a 3D open world. The generator should be suitable for levels in other types of games. Keywords: procedural content generation, game development, hierarchical graphs, graph grammars, procedural level design

Synchronní formální systémy založené na gramatikách a převodnících / Synchronous Formal Systems Based on Grammars and Transducers

Horáček, Petr January 2014 (has links)
Práce prezentuje nové teoretické výsledky ohledně generativní a přijímajicí síly. Poslední část práce zkoumá možnosti lingvisticky orientovaných aplikací se zameřením na překlad přirozeného jazyka. Diskutuje a srovnává hlavní výhody nových modelů s využitím vybraných případových studií z českého, anglického a japonského jazyka pro ilustraci.

Pořadí osvojování gramatických slov a tvarů: elektronický dotazník / Order of acquisition of grammatical words and forms: on-linequestionnaire

Matějka, Štěpán January 2022 (has links)
Grammar acquisition is a widely researched area in international psycholinguistics. A great amount of research has focused on determining the order of acquiring grammatical words and forms in individual languages (e.g. Bloom et al., 1980; Brown, 1973; de Villiers & de Villiers, 1973). By contrast, as regards Czech, to this day there has been only a limited amount of data on the process of the acquisition of grammar words and forms based on empirical research or sourced from an adequate number of child respondents. Some findings about Czech grammar acquisition were introduced e.g. by Pačesová (1979), Chejnová (2016a) or Smolík (2002). The present dissertation therefore aims to collect descriptive data on the acquisition of grammatical words and forms in Czech. It also determines whether these grammar acquisition data can be collected using parent reports (e.g. Fenson et al., 1993, 2007; Rescorla, 1989), a method which has been used primarily to monitor the acquisition of lexis. Grammar acquisition has been examined through parent reports only to a limited extent. The dissertation comprises five parent report surveys, aimed at the acquisition of noun and adjective cases, verb forms, prepositions, interrogative expressions, conjunctions and linking expressions. Data were collected from a total of 580...

Moreover, an overview of the approaches to teaching grammar in relation to the use of metalanguage and metalinguistic terminology is provided in this chapter together with the summary of findings obtained from the studies concerned with learners or teachers knowledge of metalinguistic terminology. The empirical part is based on the questionnaire survey among Czech grammar school students and teachers. The main areas examined in the research are: learners' and teachers' attitudes to and beliefs about learning and teaching English and English grammar, learners' and teachers' attitudes to metalinguistic terminology as well as learners' knowledge of the terminology and teachers' awareness of the...

Gramatické časy vyjadřující budoucnost v učebnicích anglického jazyka pro 2. stupeň ZŠ / Grammatical tenses expressing future in textbooks of English for lower secondary schools

KOŤAROVÁ, Eva January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with grammatical structures expressing future, which are presented in series of English language textbooks. This thesis is divided into two parts a theoretical and an empirical one. Emphasis is given on the empirical part. There is defined grammar and particular types of grammar are also described in theoretical part. There is focus especially on the linguistic and pedagogical grammar. Particular attention is paid to the conception of grammatical structures expressing future which is presented in the linguistic and pedagogical grammars. This part functions as theoretical basis for empirical part. The objective of the empirical part is to present research of chosen series of English language textbooks. The heart of the empirical part comprises an in-depth analysis and comparative study of grammatical structures expressing future which are presented in chosen series of English language textbooks. The aim of the analysis and comparison is to find out, which grammatical structures expressing future are presented in the series, what order they are presented in, what thematic context they are presented in, if there is paid attention to typical mistakes in these structures in the series, if the conception of grammatical structures expressing future which is presented in the linguistic grammars matches the presentation of these structures in the series. The aim is also to find out whether there are presented the same grammatical structures expressing future in similar orders and analogous thematic contexts in the chosen series of textbooks.
