This diploma thesis focuses on possible application ways of the selected therapies (canistherapy, hippotherapy and music therapy) in particular institutions for disabled people. The therapies mentioned above have been seen as the methods of a compact rehabilitation process which use a positive influence of animals and music on one´s health. The thesis contains the theoretical part which introduces the summary of development and current terminology on the field of zootherapy, canistherapy, hippotherapy and music therapy. The selected topic has been dissected here in full details. It also introduces the problem regarding physical disabilities in general. The practical part of the thesis is a data survey which have been gained in the form of a qualitative research, being presented in two significant chapters. In the first one, the survey regarding the characteristics of the involved institutions can be found. The second chapter is an analysis and comparison of gained information. The aim of the survey is to introduce and sum up the possible ways of using and application of these special therapies in the selected institutions for physically disabled people within the south Bohemian region. The methods of qualitative research have been used. To reach the goal, data collection in a form of observation, semi-standartized interview and photodocumentation have been applied. The complete conclusion of the gained information can be found in the final part of the thesis. The supplements contain some photos regarding these particular therapies and the structure of semi-standartized interview. The thesis can be used as a source of information for both experts and amateurs.

Hiporehabilitace jako prostředek pro (re)socializaci osob s míšní lézí / Hiporehabilitation as a means for (re)socializing people with spinal lesions

Pospíšilová, Johana January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with hyporehabilitation and its influence on the (re) socialization of people with spinal cord lesions in adulthood. The theoretical part deals with physical disability and then defines the spinal cord injury and its consequences reflected in the life of the individual and the individual social aspects into which the disability is intertwined. We also deal with hyporehabilitation and its division into individual categories and their goals. Hyporerehabilitation is introduced as a possible way for the resocialization of people with spinal lesions. In this work we will introduce the individual components of hipporehabilitation and introduce ways of working with clients in individual areas. Each area is aimed at developing a different aspect of human personality. In all areas, we emphasize and raise the impact on physical disability and personality traits that form specifically spinal lesions. For each type of hiporebilitation, we indicate its goal of action. These goals and categories intersect, with the chapters emphasizing the impact on disability. Based on the interviews, the life changes of a person with an acquired disability due to a spinal cord injury were described. In the analysis of individual interviews, we focused on their changes in behavior and also values, on...

Zhodnotenie špecializačných skúšok pre kone zaradené do hiporehabilitácie

Slobodová, Lucia January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the specialization examinations. Each horse for hiporehabilitation purposes is specially selected and trained in a composed Specialized Exam. I'm watching the so-called a selection of effects that affects the results of horses included in the trials and their subsequent use in hiporehabilitation. A database of 195 horses of different breeds was compiled, where different parameters of their body were evaluated on the basis of a linear description, and therefore specialized examinations for horses included in hiporehabilitation were performed. Based on the results of the specialization tests, the collected data were followed by statistical processing and evaluation of the effects of specialization tests for horses in hiporehabilitation. I divided the horses into 6 groups by type to better compare the necessary effects. Then, in the Gretl statistical program, I evaluated the individual parameters of horses that correlate together. I have given both positive and negative values, from which I conclude that one variable is smaller, the other is bigger. Various groups correlate different parameters, depending on the type of the horse. Then, I evaluated the step and trot in the individual groups. In the statistical program I created a so-called thermal maps, where the color correlated degrees of color were, the more red the color, the more the parameters correlate together. Only mares and geldings participate in the specialization tests. The most suitable age for inclusion is 5 years.

Vliv hiporehabilitace na bio-psycho-sociální složku u zdravotně znevýhodněných dětí v souvislosti ovlivnění školní úspěšnosti / Effect of Hippo Rehabilitation od the Biological, Psychological and Social Components of Children with a Health Handicap in Relation with the Impact on School Success

Drozdková, Martina January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to map the effect of hippo rehabilitation on a change in school evaluation, interpersonal communication, behaviour and skills of the pupils with a health handicap. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part summarizes necessary information about hippo rehabilitation as a whole and its usability in treatment of disorders and diseases. In the first chapter, a brief history of hippo rehabilitation and its emergence as a treatment method is presented; followed by definitions of terms, division and characterization of the individual disciplines. The following part is devoted to the healing effect of hippo rehabilitation on both physical and psychological components of a human being, through the impact of specific and non-specific factors of the therapy. The third part describes the way the hippo rehabilitation is carried out in practice, as well as the conditions necessary for its performance. The healing effects and mechanisms of the individual disciplines are also dealt with. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with hippo rehabilitation in terms of its effect on human functions and characteristics that influence school success. This part also includes a description of symptoms and signs of the individual disabilities and a possible impact of hippo...

Sociální poznávání pomocí koní / Horse assisted social cognition

Pfannová, Adéla January 2017 (has links)
of Diploma Thesis Social Cognition with horse's assistance Adela Pfannova 2017 Social Cognition is an area of psychology, which evaluates how people perceive others, relations and events in their social environment. Improving skills in this area is beneficial for different parts of life of a person and for the whole society. Consequences can be the development of prosocial behaviour, collaboration, and decrease in aggressive behaviour and in perceiving people through stereotypes. These skills can be improved with Equine Assisted Activities, which I further write about in this Thesis. With the inspiration of Natural horsemanship or Equitation Science, it is possible to try to understand horse's cognition, which differs a lot from human perspective. Horses are social animals, which are sensitive for signals from their environment and quick in responses to them. Because they are naturally living in herd hierarchy, they are trying to clear social positions with humans as well. That makes humans to realize their current place in hierarchy and to communicate it. Horse's influence on people is complex and it can affect all parts of their personality, which I describe as bio- psychosocial-spiritual. It is possible to use horse's positive effect for Treatment or Therapy.

Využití hiporehabilitace při reedukaci poruch chování dětí a mladistvých / Hippo re-education of behavior disorders of children and teenagers

KOZIELOVÁ, Erika January 2011 (has links)
The present thesis is focused on hippo rehabilitation as a novel technique for re-education of adult and child behavior disorders. The work briefly characterizes issues of adult and child behavior disorders and presents how hippo rehabilitation can be used to positively influence their bad behaviour patterns. The importance of social behavior of horses for re-education of behavior disorders is clarified based on the knowledge of the horse Etology during rehabilitation lessons. In the end of the theoretical part, ?American programme? that use mustang horses for re-socialization of prisoners is described and its parallels are implied to hippo rehabilitation. The practical part of the thesis describes a few chosen hippo rehabilitation centers in the Czech Republic and one center in Germany. Therapeutic approaches to individual client needs are discussed. The positive effect of hippo rehabilitation is documented by three attached case studies describing courses of rehabilitation. In conclusion, the chosen courses of rehabilitation are compared.
