Návrh využití odpadů vznikajících ve výrobním podniku / Proposal for the Usage of the Waste Generated in a Production Plant

Štefková, Michaela January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the ways of waste management in an industrial enterprise and the possibilities for its improvement in terms of the waste management hierarchy. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the sustainable development of the company, environmental management systems, as well as state environmental policy. The thesis also describes the legislative framework relating to waste management and defines the rights and obligations relating to the generation, management, manipulation and treatment, and disposal of waste. The own part of the thesis discusses the current situation in the field of waste management, which has been analysed for the purposes of work. Based on this information, a method of waste management is proposed in the last part.

Odpadová politika Japonska, Evropské unie a Slovenské republiky z hlediska udržitelného rozvoje / Waste policy of Japan, the European Union and the Slovak Republic in terms of sustainable development

Nemcová, Mária January 2017 (has links)
In the context of current urgent environmental and social problems is waste management policy increasingly moving from plain safe disposal of waste toward integrating systems, where waste is recognized as an important resource and is being incorporated into the material circle again. This thesis is tracks three particular political responses to the challenge of sustainable waste management. It discusses the strategies and applied policy tools in Japan, European union and the Slovak republic. The main focal point for their analysis is the sustainable development paradigm, the pursue of which is evaluated from the sustainability perspective in time and space using the SWOT analysis. This element of the sustainable development is supplemented and reinforced through an identification of the application of the key principles for pursuing the sustainable development. Apart from the evaluation of the strong and weak point of the particular policies from the viewpoint of sustainable development, the outcome of the thesis will be as well to identify eventual possibilities for a positive inspiration in the European context. Last, but not least, the thesis brings forward basic points of departure to steer the policies in a positive direction, with a special emphasis on the case of Slovak republic. Key words:...

Odpadové hospodárstvo v meste Bratislava / Waste Management in Bratislava

Gömöry, Michal January 2012 (has links)
The thesis deals with waste management in a particular city. It analyzes the level and trying to find opportunities for improvement. Analyzed government in Čunovo and Petržalka, next government in Bratislava and also higher territorial unit into which belongs Bratislava. Looked at the current level of support.Analysis will subjected to public and given internal documents, which are recovered. The results were confronted with a questionnaire research and his results. The company OLO, as the dominant element in city waste management, was also subjected to the research and findings have been recovered. All results were recovered and supplemented by observation Method of shopping centers and their access to sorting waste for visitors. Resulted in the appreciation of of each individual step of research and the actual proposals for improving the situation have been complex. Their combined implementation should be not only to improving waste management, but also to in a cost saving in terms of household. done not only to improve waste hos-ture, but also the financial savings in terms of households.

Environmentální politika Evropské unie a její vliv na environmentální politiku Slovenské republiky / Environmental policy of the European Union and its impact on the environmental policy of the Slovak Republic

Kozáková, Tamara January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis entitled "Environmental policy of the European Union and its impact on the environmental policy of the Slovak Republic" targets the environmental policy of these two entities, focusing on a specific area, namely waste management. Despite the fact that environmental policy did not belong to the original agenda of the European Union during its creation, today, due to the gradual development characterized in the first part of the work, the EU is a prominent player in this field. In other parts of the work we describe how Slovakia has gradually undergone a progressive change, ie Europeanization, through its involvement in EU policies. Based on the membership of the Slovak Republic in the European Union since 2004, the Slovak Republic has obligations and commitments, which shows the significant influence of the European Union, and thus the existing environmental policies of the Member States are no longer politically or legally separated from EU environmental policy. In addition to the goal of providing a comprehensive overview of the development of environmental policy of the both European Union and the Slovak Republic since its formation, the main goal is to analyze the implementation of waste management in the form of Framework Directive 2008/98 / EC on waste. This goal is based...

Tenkovrstvové katalyzátory pre použitie v elektrolyzéroch vody a regeneratívnych palivových článkoch s protónovo vodivou membránou / Thin-film catalysts for proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers and unitized regenerative fuel cells

Kúš, Peter January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation thesis revolves around hydrogen economy and energy-storage electrochemical systems. More specifically, it investigates the possibility of using magnetron sputtering for deposition of efficient thin-film anode catalysts with low noble metal content for proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers (PEM-WEs) and unitized regenerative fuel cells (PEM-URFCs). The motivation for this research derives from the urgent need of minimizing the price of mentioned electrochemical devices should they enter mass production. Numerous experiments were carried out, correlating the actual in-cell performance with the varying position of thin-film catalyst within the membrane electrode assembly, with the composition of high-surface support sublayer and with the chemical structure of the catalyst itself. The wide arsenal of analytical methods ranging from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy through scanning electron microscopy to photoelectron spectroscopy allowed us to describe complex phenomena behind different obtained efficiencies. Consequent systematic optimizations led to the design of novel PEM-WE anode thin-film iridium catalyst with thickness of just 50 nm, supported on optimized TiC-based sublayer which performed similarly to standard counterparts despite using just a fraction of their noble metal...
