Geobiocenologická diferenciace lesa a krajiny jako podklad lidské činnosti v krajině =:The geobiocoenological system of forests and landscape classification as a tool of human activity in landscape /

Friedl, Michal January 2019 (has links)
The topic of the dissertation is a development of geobiocoenology and geobiocoenological system of classification and their possible application in landscape management. The thesis is structured into four thematic blocks or case studies and is composed of reviewed and published works. The first part introduces the application of biogeographical differentiation of the landscape by a geobiocoenological approach in the development of the concept of ancient coppice forests, estimation of their distribution in the Czech Republic and description of their state. The second study deals with the testing of empirically defined units of the Czech Forest Ecosystem Classification based on the evaluation of 11,885 geobiocoenological relevés stored in the Database of Czech Forest Ecosystem Classification and containing a series of accurately measured environmental data. The last two studies are operational applications of geobiocoenology. In the first one, geobiocoenology was used for the construction of a regional forest development plan in the Ukrainian Carpathians. In the second one was geobiocoenology used for the differentiation of the peak positions of Hrubý Jeseník, because of which, besides other things, was predicted the development of biotopes in case of removing allochthonous stands of mountain pine. This dissertation demonstrates the multifaceted use of geobiocoenology, contributes to its development and enriches it also at the level of operational applications.

Efekty elektronické evidence tržeb: Analýza pomocí metody synthetic control / The Effects of Electronic Records of Sales: A Synthetic Control Method Analysis

Besedová, Monika January 2020 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to analyze the impact of the electronic records of sales (ERS) implemented on December 1, 2016, in the Czech Republic. The ERS orders given entrepreneurs to use special cash boxes and to send data about single sales to the Financial Authority immediately after each transaction. Experience shows that the ERS reduced tax evasion and the shadow economy. This thesis fills a gap in literature as no study has yet examined the impact of ERS on macroeconomic variables - gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, unemployment rate and harmonized consumer price index (HCPI). To analyze it, I apply SCM by Abadie and Gardeazabal (2003), Abadie et al. (2010) and Abadie et al. (2015) that proposes the way how to evaluate the impact of political interventions using a quantitative approach. Using data from the Eurostat and OECD databases from Q1 2004-Q3 2019, the method allows me to construct a counterfactual outcome for GDP per capita, unemployment rate and HCPI in the absence of the implementation of the ERS. I also apply the extension of original SCM - generalize synthetic control method by Xu (2017) and augmented synthetic control method by Ben-Michael et al. (2018) as robustness checks. Moreover, the interference procedures include the modified confidence interval by Firpo and Possebom...

Decoupling vybraných indikátorů zátěže a dopadu na životní prostředí / Decoupling of environmental pressure and environmental impact from economic performance

Kovalský, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
7 Abstract The thesis analyses trends of two environmental aspects in spatial terms of the Czech Republic and timal terms since 1993 till 2010. The two aspects are acid deposition as environmental pressure and defoliation of forest crown as environmental impact. Since one aspect is cause of the other the thesis also analyses trends of relationship between these aspects and comapares the results with the concept of decoupling of environmental pressure from economic growth. Important findings are that despite huge relative decrease of environmental pressure expressed by acid deposition the decrease of environmental impact expressed by forest crown defoliation is very low. Although decoupling occured during the analyzed period it's not possible to say that linkage between "environmental bads" and "economic goods" was broken. The thesis reveals factors that had influence on these findings. The thesis also compares particular concepts of decoupling being used and provides author's input on which of these concepts suits the best analyzing the breakage of the links between environmental pressure from economic growth in all of its aspects. Key words: sustainable development, sustainability, decoupling of environmental pressure from economic growth, acid deposition, defoliation, gross domestic product.

Vybrané sociálněekonomické ukazatele v ČR a jejich komparace se zvolenými státy EU / Selected socio-economic indicators in the Czech Republic and their comparison with selected EU countries

ZÍTKOVÁ, Pavlína January 2018 (has links)
The subject of this work is the approximation and explanation of methods of evaluation of economic variables using indicators and their systems. The thesis also uses a method of a multi-parametric comparison of the indicators. In the thesis are described the individual indicators, then the methods of their evaluation and the creation of the multi-parametric comparison. The thesis deals also with the harmonization of economic statistics and the definition of the assessed area. For practical use, indicators are then selected: Gross Domestic Product, Labor Productivity, Unit Costs, Unemployment Rate, Real Effective Rates, R & D expediture and Human Resources in Science and Technology. Selected indicators are evaluated from a time and space point of view. Furthermore, a method of the multi-parametric comparison was performed for these four indicators: GDP per capita, unemployment rate, R & D expenditure and unit labor costs. The analysis of the indicators shows that currently the economies of all selected countries are growing. Despite the EU's similarity efforts, there are major differences between economies. The great potential for further economic development is technological progress. The way states deals with this opportunity, it can decide on their future development.

Změny v daních a vývoj daňových příjmů v době ekonomické krize / Changes in taxes and development of tax revenues during the economic crisis

Nurmatova, Madina January 2011 (has links)
The work deals with changes in tax area and development of tax state budget revenues during the economic crisis, in the period from 2008 to the present. Theoretical part describes the economic crisis in terms of its origin, development and consequences on the macroeconomic indicators within EU and Czech Republic. The basic concepts of economic theories in order to resolve the economic crisis are stated. Practical part analyzes the specific measures in the tax system and its impact on the economic development. It shows that these measures has failed to fulfill the expected stabilization of the state budget, that the intended reduction of direct taxes and increase indirect taxes has been fulfilled, and also it verifies that effects of discretionary government measures are most evident in 2010-2011, subsequently followed by a decline.
