Španělská klavírní literatura a její přínos pro evropské kulturní dědictví / SPANISH PIANO LITERATURE AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE EUROPEAN CULTURAL HERITAGE

The main idea of this diploma thesis is to provide a brief historical overview of the main Spanish composers for keyboard instruments from the 16th to 20th century, their influence on the major European composers and their relation to Spanish national dances, songs and guitar techniques. The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter contains the historical overview and is split into three subchapters according to the period: 16th to 18th century, 1st half of 19th century and 2nd half of 19th century to 1st half of 20th century. The second chapter comprises the selection of European composers and examples of their works encompassing apparent influence of Spanish music. The third chapter deals with guitar techniques, based on which the Spanish piano works are built. And finally, the fourth chapter of this thesis provides a summary of basic Spanish dances and songs including examples of note scores.

In this work we focus on the relation of popular music genres and classical instruments. Using the database searching we find the lists of styles using each of the instruments of symphonic orchestra. For improvement of the understanding the relationship graphs are presented for each instrument. Resulting graphs are printed also for the whole groups of the classical instruments. For all the cases a short analysis of results is given and the styles representing some characteristic usage of the instrument are described in detail. The third chapter groups the experience of the stage performances including the overview of available instruments and technic of sound pickup and the question of incorporating the acoustic instruments to popular music performances is discussed. The last section of the main text describes an approach, which represents one of the ways of enhancing the artificial music by the musical elements characteristic for the popular genres.

My diploma thesis is called Main repertoire for the trio clarinet, cello and piano. The work is devided to three chapters. The first one is called History and present of the trio clarinet, cello and piano. In this chapter are three independent subchapters. The first is about historical development of these instruments. In the seconde is written something about repertoire options for this group and the third one is about tree well-known groups. The seconde chapter is about the main tema and there is written about the most played and well-known compositions for this ensemble. There is usually written something short about life of the composer and then formal analysis of every piece. The main compositions are written in this order: Archduke of Austria and The Trio for clarinet, cello and piano, Johannes Brahms and The trio a minor op. 114, Max Bruch and Eight pieces op. 83, Vincent d´Indy and The trio B flat major op. 29, Anton Eberl and Grand trio op. 36, Michail Ivanovič Glinka and The trio Pathétique, Emil Hartmann and Serenada op. 24, Adalbert Gyrowetz and The Trio op. 38, Robert Kahn and Serenada op. 73 a Alexandr Zemlinsky and The trio d minor op. 3. The last chapter is only about The trio B flat major of Ludwig van Beethoven. In three short subchapters is written something about his life, formal analysis and creation of the composition and analysis of interpretation of two records.

The aim of this dissertation thesis is to describe contemporary Czech music written for a children's choir from several aspects. The first part deals with the definition of the phenomenon of children's choir, its specifics, sound characteristics and the like. The second, more extensive, analyzes selected aspects of the compositions of Czech composers in the last seven decades written for children's choir, with regard to their form, style, compositional procedures and techniques, conception of dissonance and consonance, and others. The goal of this work was not only analytically show the current state of Czech compositions for children's choir, but also to outline and perhaps encourage its further development.
