Proměna odívání v českých zemích husitského období / Transformation of clothing in the Czech lands Hussite period

Feyfrlíková, Monika January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess (by means of the synthesis of interdisciplinary sciences) whether we could trace any changes in clothing style during a period of Hussit wars with an overlap to the years 1400-1450 on the basis of surviving fragments of historic textiles, visual and material sources with the references to literary documents. The thesis focuses more thoroughly on the earlier development of the structure of male and female pieces of clothing and their possible form in the period of Hussit wars. Specifically, it follows the evolution of the form of both male and female body linen, under garments and outer garments, and it also focuses on head coverings, hose, shoes and accessories of the particular period. The document is enriched by a large variety of pictures attached straight to the text due to better orientation within the written content. At the end there are tables and figures which widely cover the traces of individual parts of garments found in illuminated manuscripts dated back to the delimited period. Key words: clothing, archeological textiles, illumination, Bohemia, Hussite wars, late middle ages.

Oltářní fundace kutnohorských měšťanů v předhusitské době / Chantry chapels by burghers in Kutná Hora in pre-Hussite period

Vaněk, Vojtěch January 2011 (has links)
Chantry chapels by burghers in Kutná Hora in pre-Hussite period Vojtěch Vaněk This study is based on the social-historical understanding of the role of chantries and of liturgical memory in medieval society, as discussed especially by Otto G. Oexle and Michael Borgolte. Chantries as permanent pious gifts connected the world of the living with the world of the dead, kept the presence of the dead among the living and, simultaneously, contributed to the salvation of their souls through mutual solidarity between the living and the dead. This study also evaluates the insights of the new cultural history, which understands the endowments as symbolic capital in a given society, capital which enabled display of social status and legitimized power through ostentatious demonstration of devotion. Under the House of Luxembourg, Kutná Hora was one of the most populous towns in Bohemia and Moravia as well as one of the biggest centers of mining and processing of silver ore in Europe. 1280's saw the origins of mining there, the first decade of the 14th century saw the city's founding. Kutná Hora was the residence of the central mint in the Czech kingdom and of the royal offices related to the mint and mining. It also attracted burgher elite, who participated in the mining entrepreneurship and traded with precious metals....

Dějiny kláštera Na Slovanech za husitství v letech 1419-1442 / History of the Slavonic Monastery in the Hussite Time between 1419-1442

Pohunek, Michal January 2014 (has links)
Bc. Michal Pohunek: Dějiny kláštera Na Slovanech za husitství v letech 1419 - 1442 Abstract History of the Slavonic Monastery in the Hussite Period between 1419 - 1442 This thesis describes the history of the Slavonic monastery, situated in Nové Město in Prague, and later also known as Emaus. My thesis concerns the period of the Hussite revolt between 1419-1442. At that period Holy Communion in the Slavonic monastery was offered to lay people in the utraquist mode - i.e., both bread and wine - and the monastic community became a part of the Hussite movement. The goals of this thesis are primarily theological, in line with the discipline of church history. First I want to contribute to the understanding of the spiritual and religious atmosphere in the whole of the Czech kingdom of that historical period, by describing its particular history in the Slavonic monastery. Second I would like to contribute to the comprehension of the possibility of Benedictine monastic life in the context of the Hussite movement and the influence of the utraquist monastery on the religious evolution of the time. This needs knowledge of the situation in the monastic community and its neighbourhood in that time. To understand the theological orientation of the monastic community in that period it is necessary to describe the...

Manželství z křesťanského pohledu / Marriage from a Christian Perspective

Ambrosio, Šárka January 2014 (has links)
Manželství z křesťanského pohledu Marriage from a Christian Perspective Šárka Ambrosio This work is based on the provisions of the biblical creation of man (as male and female) and the concept of marriage in the New and Old Testament. I reflected on the legal status of marriage in modern society and the provision of marriage according to the order of the Roman Catholic Church, the Czechoslovak Hussite Church society and the Christian community center as well as comparing their views on marriage and their wedding ceremonies. This literal work is divided into two parts. The first section is a biblical description of marriage from the old and new testament and its perspective regarding marriage from these three individual churches. The second section describes ten moral values of a healthy Christian marriage from my own personal observations and studies from the Bible. This chapter may be an inspiration to many people and to their marriages. The various questions about marriage are answered in the Bible. Every marriage has the chance to resolve its own issues for a healthy and satisfying relationship. The aim of this work was not only to describe marriage from the three different Churches, but also to show people that if two individuals share a common faith and have core values, the greater chance they...

Katecheze dospělých v Církvi československé husitské jako otevřená cesta Slova Božího do současné společnosti / Adult Catechetics in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church as an Open Path of God's Word towards Modern Society

Matějková, Veronika January 2014 (has links)
RESUMÉ The purpose of this thesis was to outline the current state of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and basic regularities of the andragogic discipline as the science of adult education. We put these findings in the context of adult life, which is based in the postmodern era and secularized society. The first chapter dealt with the specifics of contemporary life and the needs of the post-modern man living in a secularized world. In the second chapter we entered the path of God's Word. We interpret the Word of God in the theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and pointed out the personal / personalistics dimension of the relationship between man and God In the third chapter, we introduce catechesis as a theological discipline. We captured its mission and emphasis from theoretical and practical point of view, and we have followed with the fourth chapter and the specific concept of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. We focused on its development, legislative basis and especially methods of catechesis. The fifth chapter describes andragogy as a scientific discipline. We were interested in the process of adult education and the elements that enter it. We also attempted to show the process of basic methodological preparation for the educational activity. The description of the...

Druhá liturgie Církve československé husitské / The Second Liturgy of Czechoslovak Hussite Church

Basl, Vojtěch January 2011 (has links)
Presented work has in its first part tried to evaluate both textual and theological development of the liturgy in the Czechoslovak (Hussite) church. It has focused on Farsky's translation of the Roman Mass from 1919, first liturgical reforms of the young church, liturgical diversification and unifiction in newly conceived liturgy by Karel Farsky in 1923. The work further follows development of such liturgy, especially its revision in 1939 and attempts of liturgical renewal in seventies and eighties of the twentieth century. The final conclusion of the thesis resides in stating that revision was crucial for blurring certain parts of Farsky's liturgy. It was not conciliated with Učení, official doctrinal document of the Church, and also didn't stay in line with its origin. The main part of the work is focused on analysis of singular parts of Second Liturgy s it was adopted by Assembly in 1991. We attempt to compare this liturgy with earlier versions as mentioned above. This thesis particularly states, that recent version of the Second Liturgy presents two parts of the liturgy of the Word, when the first reading is sharply distinguished from the rest. Furthermore, Opening antiphon (Introit) and Communium antiphon (Communio) are misleadingly placed. In fact, only Offertory antiphon (Offertorium) is located...

Čím přispěla teologie kardinála Schwarzenberga na vatikánských koncilech? / The contribution theology Cardinal Schwarzenberg Vatican Council?

GRONES, Martin January 2014 (has links)
Initial idea of this work: " The contribution theology Cardinal Schwarzenberg Vatican Council? , The de facto theological story that " started " at the September provincial council in Prague ( 1860) , and over the First Vatican Council ( 1869-1870 ) , the place - the fundamental ideas of Cardinal Schwarzenberg - up to II . Vatican Council (1962-1965). We must ask ourselves what was the theology of Cardinal Schwarzenberg exceptional and why has the range and in the decades after the First Vatican Council. These questions and many others began to form this work. Response them in three circuits . The first issue is the milieu of contemporary Czech society, which entails " Czech question" because it has the attributes of the ideas of Jan Hus, who was one of the requirements to be " God's word could freely proclaim," which Cardinal Schwarzenberg sees as one of the keys to their pastoral care to address the overall " religiously sentient inhabitants " to what is now called ecumenism, and the Cardinal called her a contemporary "family faith." So the family home environment to be introduced to the "family environment" of the Church, which "does not divide, but integrates" . The second area is the communion of the Catholic congregation, which already carries specific nature of faith , which gives information on the human , not as individuals , but persons as believers lives and moves "in communion" communion sanctorum "that accompanies the believer personally and for boundaries of the church (the Church). Therefore, even in sacred spaces Divine Liturgy promotes "Discourse in the middle of the Mass," because it helps ensure that a person liturgically activated in "upgrade of Church's thinking" (that later " aggiornamento ") in the world. The third issue is the consistency believer in education as Cardinal Schwarzenberg has a graduate character: discipline, teaching and cultivating. In this characteristic "inculcation" of a person into a "divine milieu" of humanity is in the attributes of participation in "completing the world that God created Undone", as taught by A. Günther , and one has a personal interest in "his physiognomy ." All three themes should help understanding " personal infallibility of the Pope," which is not deistic static, is based on the individual, but carries the story of spiritual formation tradition of the whole Church, in whose center is the Christological fraternity, to which the " indoctrinated " hierarchy of jurisdiction, which cannot be separated from each other, but in accepting the structure of the human being shed on the integral concept of the Catholic Church as organic. Which took place in the contemporary modification to the II. Vatican Council.

Vliv odluky na financování církví / Influence of the Separation on Financing of the Churches

Zeitham, Libor January 2020 (has links)
Abstarakt - English This thesis analyses current state of churches financing. Following implementation of the Act of Property Settlement with churches and religious societies, the churches receive state contribution intended for churches' service reduced by 5 per cent from the original compensation amount every year since 2016. The contribution shall be paid out till final termination in 2027. Moreover, according to the Act, churches receive financial compensation for thirty years since 2013. This thesis asks following question: Could the churches be able (after thirty years) to finance their services from the state financial compensation only which they would regularly invest during the thirty years and from which only salaries should be paid in the anticipated level of 2013 valorized since 2019 by supposed inflation. The state financial compensation is supposed to be valorized by the same inflation. The calculations resulted in finding that only the Roman-Catholic Church would prove to be succesfull under given conditions. Due to the fact that churches do not invest the whole state contribution/subsidy excluding salaries (which was the necessary pre-requisite) neither the Roman-Catholic Church would succeed. It doesn't mean that the churches will terminate their activities by that time but structure of...
