My thesis focuses on information system analysis of local municipalities, specifically on Břeclav Municipal Office information system. My thesis evaulates the information system's efficiency, identifies its weak points and suggests measures eliminating these weak points.

This work deals with software asset management, types of managed software licenses and also the standards that are related to processes of software asset management. There are specified requirements for a system for SAM (Software Asset Management) and also the design of the system. It deals with the description of the system implementation with the chosen implementation environment, followed with testing of this system and evaluation of results.

The subject of this thesis is to contribute to the improvement of controlling system in the construction company. The main emphasis is on the use of appropriate controlling tools, which would have a positive impact on the management of a particular enterprise. The thesis analyzes the area of controlling stock in XYZ Company, Inc. The introduction defines the concept of business management, controlling and its theoretical basis, further describes the current activities of the controlling company. In the last part of the thesis proposed actions to improve the functioning of the controlling system, including the evaluation of the benefits for the company.

This master’s thesis deals with assessment of Information System in company working in the textile industry and services, and proposal for ICT modification, which lead to improvement of the current situation and risk elimination. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts related to information systems and the practical part describes the company, its information system, the actual analysis of the system, eliminating the risks and suggestions for improvement.

The master’s thesis deals with problematic of information systems of the company which deals with the ambulant, gynecologic and genetic examination of patients. Assesses the current state of the company, main business processes and their information support. It suggest new information system to support genetic examination including economic evaluation and impact of its implementation.

This thesis focuses on an assessment of the current information system in a small company followed by a plan proposal for its replacement. Main goal is to compare multiple different approaches to the process of implementing a new information system in a company and the use of methodical approach for their comparison. The result of this should be a recommendation to whether the information system should be replaced and if so, what will be the resulting gain for the company.

This thesis deals with the book-keeping on the computer and accounting software evaluation. The theoretical part includes chapters about history of book-keeping, legal regulation related to book-keeping using ICT, impacts and risks of ICT on book-keeping and business information system. The knowledge from the theoretical part is used in the practical part, which is addressed to the evaluation of specific information system Navision.
