The thesis is focused on the financial benchmarking of two agricultural enterprises. This financial benchmarking is part of corporate financial management. The aim was to identify the causes of disparities in development and the status of financial situation of the two compared enterprises (based on the results of the financial analysis for the years 2009-2013).

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Zemědělství Blatná a.s. company by using financial analysis and intercompany comparison methods. The first part explains the elementary concepts related to the topic as well as the selected methods of the financial situation eveluation. I am also mentioning the methods and way of intecompany comparison. The second part describes applying the theoretical knowledge in Zemedělství Blatná a.s. For indicating a better information capability the individual outcomes are compared with the results of Agraspol Předmíř a.s. company and also with Zemědělské obchodní družstvo Němětice company. The conclusion summarizes the individual results and propopes appropriate measures to improve the financial situation of Zemědělství Blatná a.s.

Financial analysis and methods, intercompany comparison, recomendation for management

The thesis deals with financial analysis and comparison of the biggest dairy producers in the Czech republic between years 2001 and 2007. The comparison is done every year separately when using both single-criteria and multi-criteria methods. The aim of the comparison is to provide the management of MADETA, a.s. with relevant data for its decision-making. The comparison includes these companies: Danone, Mlékárna Hlinsko, Mlékárna Kunín, Moravia Lacto a Olma, a.s..

The main aim is to analyze financia situation of the company Pivovary Staropramen a.s.

The diploma thesis deals with a financial analysis of T - Mobile Czech Republic, a.s. Trying to determine whether the analyzed enterprise is thriving company or company in financial distress. The analysis uses ratios indicators, differential indicators, analysis of financial statements and the scoring and bankruptcy models, economic value added and economic standard as well. Finally, it assessed the situation analyzed company in the context of competition - the mobile operators in the Czech Republic.

The goal of the thesis is to carry out financial performance analysis of IT companies based on selected financial analysis tools and use its results for intercompany comparison. The theoretical section introduces selected financial analysis and intercompany comparison methods which are used in the practical section to perform financial analysis of Arrow ECS, a.s., Avnet s.r.o. a GC System a.s. companies. The selected performance ratios are consequently compared by means of intercompany comparison methods. The conclusions section contains evaluation of results including recommendations for management of individual companies.

The main goal of this Master's thesis is to evaluate the economic performance and situation of the company Rodinný pivovar Bernard a.s. during the period 2009-2013. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The practical part explains the basic principles and methods that are used in the economic analysis. The second practical part deals with selected methods, which are applied to Rodinný pivovar Bernard, a.s. The diploma thesis contains and elaborates strategic analysis by applying PEST analysis, Porter's five forces and SWOT analysis. The next part of the diploma thesis contains financial analysis of the company that includes horizontal and vertical analysis, balance rules, ratio indicators, analysis of working capital and decomposition of return on equity. The diploma thesis evaluates the overall economic situation of the company by creditworthy and bankruptcy models as well and uses economic normal. The last part of diploma thesis focuses on intercompany comparison with company's competitors. The main conclusion summarizes all results and economic situation of the company.

This master’s thesis deals with measuring competitiveness of the company Formplast Purkert, s.r.o. in the period from 2008 to 2012 using selected methods of financial analysis. The obtained results of the key indicators are compared with the results of two competitive companies and with average values of the sector. Recommendations, which will be proposed based on the obtained results, should lead to improvement of the company’s financial situation and increase its competitiveness.

The target of this work is to create a financial analysis of selected company and an intercompany comparison of companies in selected branch. In teoretical part this work are description basic terms and methods of financial analysis and methods of intercompany comparison. In practical part this work is to create the financial situation of selected company and intercompany comparison of companies by methods of intercompany comparison. Then the resulting order of comanies is evaluated by Spearman´s correlation coefficient. In the end this work there is overall assessment of the results of the intercompany comparison and description of some problems that appeared in this work.
