The aim of this thesis is to explore the educational aspect of the documentary film V síti (Caught in the Net) and its impact on the Czech education system. The theoretical section of the thesis focuses mainly on presenting the topic of the film - child abuse on the internet. It deals with the topic of child safety on the internet and the context of the Czech school system. The thesis has the potential to be used in the classroom by those teachers who wish engage with this topic and educate both themselves and their students as it includes a whole chapter of recommended educational projects and programs suitable for education of second level students. The research section of the thesis deals with those teachers who saw a version of the film edited to be suitable for children, V Síti: Za školou, specifically their opinions on this project as an educational tool. The qualitative research posed a question: How did the film influence the second level of elementary school teachers' approach to child safety on the internet and its teaching? The data gathering was conducted through semi-structured interviews with nine elementary school teachers. Diploma thesis deals with usage of artificial coordinate systems used for localization of a station on the internet and prediction of delay between the stations. There are described and compared basic properties of centralized and decentralized algorithms providing station localization on the internet and RTT prediction. More in depth are presented main representatives of both types of algorithms such as GNP, IDMAPS or Lighthouse. Central part of thesis is aimed at getting to know Vivaldi distributed algorithm. Basic principle of the algorithm for constant and variable time step, using two dimensional coordinate system with 3rd parameter height, is here outlined. Further more implementation of this algorithm as a library Vivaldi-lib in the environment of Java is implemented. Part of the thesis are simulations of behaviour of this algorithm for both variations realized on artificial networks and data obtained from PlanetLab experimental network, using simulation created program VIVALDIMONITOR.

The aim of this master‘s thesis is design and construction of home meteo weather station, the choice of applicable temperature, humidity and pressure sensors and characterization of workable device of station. The core of the station is microcontroller ATmega8 used for process data from sensors. Evaluative criteria for choice of sensors will be comunicate interface, accuracy, operating range, current drain and other aspects. Outer transmittin unit measure air temperature and relative humidity. These data are trasmitted by wireless radio module to interior receiving unit, that measure interior temperature and atmospherical pressure and represent measured data to LCD display including dew point. The data are transmitting to the internet and storing in the database. Measured values are available on the web page where you can display the graphs of last measured values.

This diploma thesis deals with implementation of e-learning at Hettich ČR k.s. company in relation to their customers - joiner workshops and furniture manufacturers. In order to decide whether to implement e-learning in the company, various factors had to be taken into consideration. Firstly, current status of customer training was thoroughly analyzed. Not only basic information about e-learning were studied, but also efficiency criteria of utilization e-learning within the company as well as the outcome of e-learning programs in other firms were researched. Furthermore, comprehensive analysis of internet audience rate among company’s employees was done and questionnaire field survey among customers was carried out.

This thesis studies the style of contemporary advertisement and advertising texts published on the internet. The theoretical part is focused on theory and function of advertisement. It describes the specifics of each type of advertising and proposes several classification options. It also presents the dynamic internet environment with typical features. The last section of the theoretical part is devoted to the language and style of advertising texts and the commonly used linguistic aspects and stylistic devices. The practical part deals with examples of real contemporary advertisements published on the internet; the texts are analyzed to find answers to three research questions. The first concerns features which ads use to engage recipient's interest. The output is a table containing an overview of all identified features and their frequency according to the form of advertising. The second research question focuses on persuasive means that advertisements use according to their function. The third part is devoted to linguistic and stylistic features typical for certain target groups. Results of the analysis and the success evaluation are summarized at the end of the thesis. This thesis deals with the complex issue of cyber security in international relations, specifics of cyber realm due to its technical nature and particular circumstances of its development as well as with the way how the EU deals with information and communication technologies. Even though cyber security as a category appears with increasing frequency and intensity in the thinking on security and related political debate in the past twenty years, some of its basic tenets are still insufficiently understood. First part of the thesis deals with cyber realm and its specifics as such with effort to pinpoint some of the inherent contradictions between the traditional Westphalian nation states and the fluid character of the digital world. Through analysis of selected relevant incidents as well convincing absence of the "digital- doom" scenarios the peculiar expectation-reality discrepancy will be analysed. The overarching method departs from intersubjective securitization framework. In the last part analysing the EU it is the concept of threat framing that is applied to study and trace the narrative of the EU in these matters. This diploma thesis presents aspects of online safety for adults in middle adulthood with primary education. It focuses on the theoretical description of middle adulthood, psychological aspects of internet use, online safety and factors related to online safety. The empirical part of this thesis monitors the perception of online safety, rules of online safety and their creation by adults in middle adulthood with primary education. Semi-structured interviews were used for data collection, data were analyzed by the grounded theory method. The results of the empirical part offer a comprehensive view of online safety within the selected group of adults in middle adulthood with primary education and open the topic of online safety for further research.

For my thesis I chose a topic related to the use and limits of the Internet for pupils of primary school in their free time, because I think that this issue is not given sufficient attention. The aim of my work, based on content analysis of literature and other sources and on the research among pupils, is to formulate risks associated with the use of the Internet by pupils of younger school age. Chapters of my thesis provide the readers to the issue of risk phenomena associated with the use of the Internet, which can affect mental and physical health of children. Readers will also find a chapter focused on existing projects dealing with the issue of Internet safety. And last but not least, the work is focused on the possibility of the use and safety of the sites mostly visited by children that resulted from the research. For my work I have drawn mainly from the many Internet publications and brochures, written by the experts in this issue, because the topic is relatively new and it is difficult to find books devoted to it. The aim of this thesis is to show how to design a commercially successful website and what are the possibilities of its succesive promotion. First a user research and analysis of competition is done and on the basis of this a new website is designed and created. After its implementation this site is then supported by several online marketing tools.
