The purpose of the theses is the investment opportunity valuation. The beginning of the theses concentrates mainly on theoretical methods where the basic valuation methods are explained. These methods are then used to evaluate the projects as a whole. The following part introduces the company for which an investment opportunity occurred. Subsequently, the investment opportunity itself is explained and evaluated by appropriate methods. The result of the theses is to support a decision if the investment opportunity should be accepted or rejected.

Práce popisuje přímé zahraniční investice jako důležitou součást ekonomiky státu. Obsahuje definice, rozdělení, různé formy a druhy. Porovnává faktory ovlivňující příliv zahraničních investic do země a hodnotí jednotlivé ukazatele, které mají vliv na výši přílivu PZI jak z pohledu makroekonomického, tak i mikroekonomického. Prezentuje kladný ale i záporný vliv PZI na ekonomické ukazatele ? HDP, nezaměstnanost, produktivita, a další. Obsahuje porovnání konkurenceschopnosti na úrovni států Visegrádské čtyřky. Poskytuje informace o historickém vývoji a nastiňuje možný budoucí vývoj přílivu přímých zahraničních investic a jeho vlivu na ekonomiku České republiky, Maďarska, Polska a Slovenska.

Teoreticko-metodologická část diplomové práce se zabývá postupem zpracování a tvorby podnikatelského plánu, jeho funkcemi a jednotlivými částmi. Aplikační část je věnována zpracování podnikatelského plánu pro projekt výstavby větrné elektrárny a provedení ekonomického zhodnocení efektivnosti investice pomocí ukazatelů výnosnosti investice, doby návratu investice, čisté současné hodnoty, indexu rentability a vnitřního výnosového procenta. Závěr obsahuje shrnutí dílčích závěrů a doporučení pro management firmy.

Na příkladu mezinárodní telekomunikační firmy je vysvětlena marketingová strategie úspěšné firmy v průběhu jejího založení, následného vývoje a prodeje. To vše v kontextu současné technologicky vyspělé globální ekonomiky, ve které má komunikace nesmírný význam.

Práce představuje souhrnnou ekonomicko-politickou analýzu Itálie z pohledu klíčových ekonomických ukazatelů. Současná ekonomická situace v zemi představuje výsledek dlouhodobého procesu transformace italského hospodářství. Analýza podpory přílivu zahraničních investic a celkového investičního prostředí, zahraničního obchodu, jeho struktury, klíčových partnerů a systému podpory exportu jsou nezbytnou součástí této studie, stejně jako je nástin budoucího hospodářského vývoje, který se opírá o zjištěné skutečnosti.

Diplomová práce popisuje vývoj francouzských investic v České republice. Uvádí ekonomickou charakteristiku Francie a analyzuje kulturní, sociální a politické aspekty země. Práce se věnuje česko-francouzským obchodním vztahům. Snaží se zachytit činnost některých organizací, které podporují a napomáhají v rozvoji hospodářské a kulturní spolupráce Francie a České republiky a k přílivu dalších francouzských investic do České republiky. Práce se věnuje zastoupení a působení francouzských společností v naší ekonomice.

Předmětem zkoumání práce jsou ekonomické vztahy mezi ČLR a africkými ekonomikami. Pomocí analýzy jejich vztahů si práce klade za cíl odpovědět na otázku ekonomické a politické pozice ČLR ve světě, kterou ČLR získává rozvíjením bilaterálních vztahů s africkými státy. Teoretické závěry práce byly dále podpořeny průzkumem mezi čínskými podniky, které obchodují s africkými státy.

The purpose of my Master's Thesis is to determine the value of the football club Tottenham Hotspur as of 25th November 2011. The company is listed on AIM stock exchange. The main focus in theoretical part is on different financial ratios needed for the analysis of the company and on the methods of evaluation. Practical part is devoted to analysis of the historical data of the company in the period 2007-2011. Base on that I make a projection of the income statement and balance sheet for the years 2012 - 2015. For the calculation of the value of the company method of the discount free cash flow to capital is applied. As a result of my calculation the value of the company is 316 439 k. GBP, that means 1,12 GBP per share. Stock is traded approximately for the price that is half of the value calculated. The company seems to be interesting investment opportunity.

The goal of the submitted thesis "Venture capital as a tool for financing enterpris-es" is to create an evaluation model for venture capital utilization in a particular entrepreneurial entity, on the basis of which it will be possible to formulate rec-ommendations regarding the suitability of the participation of venture capital in financing specific entrepreneurial entity. This paper describes the venture capital industry as a whole and explains its characteristics. The first part focuses on the identification of this market and the definition of the different types of invest-ments. The second part describes the situation on the market of venture capital in the Czech Republic with focus on its availability. There are introduced companies which had successfully completed investments of venture capital, as well as com-panies, where the result of venture capital investment remains unknown. After application of the evaluation model for venture capital there are formulated con-clusions and recommendations for the unfinished investments.

Evaluation of financial performance and quality of Art Banking services in Czech Republic and abroad. Brno 2014. The Diploma Thesis elaborates Art Banking as a service that is not yet developed in Czech environment. First part is dedicated to examine bibliographical and online sources in order to describe historical connection between banks and Art, to study Art Banking le-gislation and to expose current services offered by banks. Theoretical part lists suitable sources of information about Art Banking for beginning and experienced investors, banks, consultants and other interest groups. Second part states specific examples of Art Banking services offered by European and also American banks. This part contains a matrix of banks with their portfolio of services that reflects different points of interest of trading in this area. Develo-pment and expansion of Art Banking services are done mainly outside of Czech Republic. Could czech market be a new place of development for this kind of services? The idea to implement Art Banking in Czech Republic is supported in the final part of the Thesis by a proposal of new methodology that is used in specific case study. Data of this study are analysed and suits to predict potencial evolution of the service in future.
