The theme of my diploma thesis is the elaboration of the Territorial Study of the South Development Area of the City of Brno. It is a very displaced area, in the Brno-South district around the villages of Dolní Heršpice and Přízřenice. It is therefore separated from the city center by the D1 motorway and circumscribed in the east and west by the high-speed communications - Vídeňská Street and D2 motorway. There are two historical villages inside the assigned area, which are today formally part of Brno - Dolní Heršpice and Přízřenice. There are also several industrial sites, both used and unused. All these are in the eastern part of the territory between Havránková / Zelná / Modřická street and river Svratka. The vast majority of the area consists of used agricultural land. The embossment is very flat, the overall elevation between the lowest and the highest point is 16 meters, while the distance of these points is almost 2.5 km. In the northern part, the Leskava stream forms a shallow valley. The aim of the proposal was to investigate the possible capacity of this territory for the new predominantly residential district of the city if the need to create new housing capacities in the southern part of the city would arise in the near future.

Em nossa dissertação, estudamos o excerto da crônica Kitāb al-Kāmil fi l-ta\'rīkh, de Ibn al-Athīr, que relata os anos de governo de Nūr ad-Dīn. Nossa pesquisa é dividida em três partes. Na primeira, apresentamos o autor e sua obra, a origem e a composição da crônica, além do debate historiográfico sobre a obra. Na segunda, abordamos os gêneros retóricos da Retórica de Aristóteles e a aplicação de dois destes gêneros, epidítico e deliberativo, na composição do discurso de Ibn al-Athīr. Na terceira, realizamos uma síntese das definições de jihād tanto no Alcorão quanto nos tratados jurídicos muçulmanos e mostramos como o nosso autor se apropria deles para legitimar as ações de Nūr ad-Dīn e construir, por meio de seu discurso, a figura do biografado como um exemplo de governante. / In our dissertation, we study the extract of Ibn al-Athīr\'s chronicle, Kitāb al-Kāmil fi l-ta\'rīkh, reporting the years of Nūr ad-Dīn\'s governmet. Our research is divided into three parts. The first presents the author and his work, the chronicles origin and the composition, besides presenting the historiographical debate on the work. The second approachs the rhetoric genres of Aristotles Rhetoric and the use of two of these genres, epideictic and deliberative, at the construction of Ibn al-Athīr\'s discourse. The third discusses the definitions of jihād both at Coran and at muslims juridical treatises, indicating how our author uses them to legitimate Nūr ad-Dīn\'s action in order to elaborate him, through his discourse, as an example of ruler.

In this thesis I chose the topic of the history of modern Italian literature, namely the period of neorealism. Literary production exceeds its framework and passes into another kind of art, into filmmaking. So thesis gains interdisciplinary character. Furthermore, for me, this period significant for its ethical and aesthetic values of the human society. The first part summarizes important books about the life of Pier Paolo Pasolini. In the central part is based on mutual comparison works, novels and films, the opinions of experts works drawn from secondary literature. It is currently the focus of work: analysis of novels and film sequences through which it speaks to us. In the last part of the thesis contents Pasolini's book dedicated to collection of essays bearing his poetic intention to intervene in language, literature and film layers of Italian culture.
 Pasolini's scope goes beyond individual disciplines, interconnects arts and beyond "mere" national scope. It opens up new issues in the community in which he later become fateful. The thesis is dedicated to the first half of Pasolini's life that affected him during processing works analyzed below: Ragazzi di vita and Una vita violenta, Accattone and Mamma Roma. The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate an area which belongs to one of the proposed development directions of Brno city. The area is located under the D1 highway adjacent to the confluence of Svratka and Svitava rivers in the Brno-jih district. There are two villages in the area – Dolní Heršpice and Přízřenice – which are surrounded by buildings of mainly business and industrial character. The objective of this work is to review the possibility of utilizing the defined area for living as the number of similar areas in Brno is decreasing. The result of the diploma thesis is an urbanistic idea outlining possible functional use of a large area covering 380 ha, and a thematic study of an urbanistic structure in a particularly defined part.

The present thesis tries to Czech readers familiar with the concepts of development cooperation and development education in Spain, focusing on the practical implementation of development education by NGOs in Valencia. In the theoretical part are gradually presented the basic historical and political bases of both concepts and the reader is acquainted with the institutional prerequisites for their implementation in Spain. The empirical part contains the results of the analysis of interviews with representatives of NGOs in Valencia, which realize the practical development educational activities in elementary and secondary schools. The text is supplemented with illustrative graphs and tables, and includes examples of typical responses of respondents which contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the text. The final section includes a discussion of applied research methods and critical evaluation of the results that were presented in the empirical part.

The aim of this thesis was to find the seeds of Czech interest in the topic of female genital mutilation using a spectrum of approaches, as well as the experience of experts on this topic. The research consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to the mapping of the institutional network; the second one to personal stories. Interviews with narrators have been analyzed using the method of triple coding. Themes that reveal the narrators' opinions about and attitudes towards female genital mutilation have been explored in the analysis in particular. In terms of theoretical approaches, the thesis explores whether it is possible to frame the debate on female genital mutilation in the Czech context using the various theses of global feminism and whether there is a general interest in this issue and its solutions. This thesis examines the relationship between Southern literature and socio-cultural realities of the Southern region of the United States of America. Analyzing works of five distinguished Southern writers, this thesis examines the reflection of specific Southern culture features in literature of the region in the period from the end of the American Civil War to the second half of the 20th century. The thesis oppose the opinion that the primary goal of Southern literature was to promote Southern identity and its cultural superiority above the North. The central hypothesis, that is being verified by this thesis, is that despite the indisputable contribution of highly recognized Southern writers to building of Southern identity, these authors expressed in their works also often sharp critiques of the social conditions in the South.

This diploma thesis deals with urban study of development area Brno-South. The design results in creation of the new urban district with 1800 - 2100 new residents. New jobs are created in proposed industrial areas, office buildings and public facilities. Result of the thesis was to show one possible way of development of this area.
