Este trabalho vale-se dos conceitos de horizonte de expectativa e efeito, próprios da Estética da Recepção, e os aplica à análise de algumas críticas jornalísticas acerca das obras \'Todos os nomes\' e \'O homem duplicado\', de José Saramago, publicadas em jornais de grande circulação no Brasil, nos primeiros doze meses após a publicação dessas obras. / This work used concepts such as expectative horizon and effect considered typical characteristics of the Reception Aesthetics, and both were applied to analyse of some few jornalistic criticisms about the books All the Names and The duplicated man, by Jose Saramago, published in newpapers of large circulation in the Brazil, in first twelve months after their publication.
