Porovnání různých metod stanovení melitelnosti práškových pojiv / Comparison of the different methods for the determination of the powder binders grindabilityVirágová, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge gained in the field of grinding medium-hard and hard materials. Work has focused on examining the grindability of the material using available laboratory mill. The part of the work is subsequent optimization of the grinding process on the device and evaluation of the results.

Vliv vybraných kandidátních lokusů na ukazatele jakosti masa u skotu / Effect of selected candidate loci on meat quality indicators by cattleSTEBLOVÁ, Halina January 2014 (has links)
This study was aimed on analysis of polymorphism at position 2141 in exon 5 of the growth hormone gene (GH) and polymorphism at position 257 in exon 10 of the growth hormone receptor gene (GHR) and to determine the influence of these polymorphisms on meat tenderness. To analysis has been used 333 meat samples of Czech Pied bulls. Genotypization of GH and GHR loci was performed by PCR-RFLP. For detection of single nucleotide polymorphism in both genes was used restriction endonuclease AluI. To determine meat tenderness was used the method of measuring shear force by Warner and Bratzler. The shear force values of raw meat samples were measured at day 14 post mortem. Then was statistically evaluated the association between genotypes and shear force. In the study population occurred for GH locus 166 individuals with genotype LL, 161 heterozygotes LV and 6 homozygotes VV. The relative genotype frequencies were thus 0.499 (LL), 0.483 (LV) and 0.018 (VV). The frequency of L allele was 0,74 and of V allele was 0,26. For GHR locus was found in the study population 178 homozygotes AA, 105 heterozygotes AG and 50 homozygotes GG. The relative frequencies of genotypes were 0.535 (AA), 0.315 (AG) and 0.15 (GG). The frequency of A allele was 0,692 and of G allele was 0,308. Using statistical analysis revealed a significant effect of genotype GH gene on shear force, tenderness resp. (P<0,05). For GHR locus showed no effect of genotype on shear force (P>0,05).

Úskalí života dítěte s onemocněním osteogenesis imperfecta / Life difficulties of child with the osteogenesis imperfecta disorder.LACINOVÁ, Ida January 2018 (has links)
Osteogenesis imperfecta, innate brittle bone disease, is a very serious disease. It is inheritable disease of connective tissue, which shows by abnormal fragility of bones. The occurrence of this disease is one case in 10 000 30 000 births. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the disease itself, also the psychical impact on children suffering from Osteogenesis imperfecta and the impact on their families as well. At the beginning of the research, three goals of this thesis were set: map out (on the basis of theoretical and practical backgrounds) the pitfalls of life of children with the disease Osteogenesis imperfecta, find out what are the most common difficulties by children with the disease Osteogenesis imperfecta and also find out the experiences of nurses with the care for children with disease Osteogenesis imperfecta. The empirical part of the thesis was processed by means of qualitative research conducted by the technique of semi-structured interview and narrative biographical interview. The research set were nurses working at the child departments in hospitals, parents of ill children and also an adult woman with the diagnosis of Osteogenesis imperfecta and two doctors. From the research emerged that among the most common difficulties of children is pain, which decreases the quality of their life. Small children can't engage in typical activities of children, such as going to a playground, older children can't attend for example music festivals. Children feel fear from fractures and are therefore limited in sports. Because of injuries and their treatments, the children have more absences at schools and therefore are isolated from peers. Nevertheless, the children with this disease can live a happy life. From the results of the research also emerges, that nurses working at the child departments of the hospitals attended by children with this illness have a good experiences with their treatment. They are able to give parents important information and know the specifics of application of the treatment. The results of the diploma thesis were presented at a national student conference and will be further published.

Víceúrovňové hodnocení křehkosti vybraných stavebních kompozitů / Complex evaluation of brittleness of selected building compositesMachačová, Denisa January 2014 (has links)
Specified topic of the thesis is a multilevel evaluation of brittleness of selected building composites. The work deals with the opinions of fracture parameters of test specimens of lightweight and ordinary concrete. Specimens further differed fibres content in concrete mixtures, their type and length. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part conceives composite materials and introduction to fracture mechanics. The practical part describes the different steps for fracture-mechanical parameters evaluation using StiCrack and Excel Visual Basic software. The main part of the work is to evaluate the brittleness of different test specimens, taking into account the type of concrete mix and type of fibres.

Život klientů Domova se zvláštním režimem a jejich aktivizace / Client's life at Special Needs Nursing Home and their activationKolářová, Kristýna January 2021 (has links)
In my diploma thesis entitled The life of clients of the Home with Special Regime and their activation, I deal with issues related to activation programs for the elderly and their effectiveness. The use of exploratory questions using case studies of clients provides insight into their daily routines and into their leisure time that can be used for activation. The aim of this survey is to seek to expand opportunities to develop current but also future activation. The thesis also looks at the different types of therapies (art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, etc.) that are suitable for use in a Special Needs Home. The thesis also focuses on activation workers who should be provided with motivation to work with clients. Due to the covid crisis, I was forced to focus only on the Home with Special Regime, within the CSOP of Prague 15. The practical part is devoted to a survey to determine the quality of the current activation and to focus on improving future activation programs. The results of the survey show that the clients of the Home are satisfied with the current activation, although there are some reservations from the respondents, which, thanks to the survey and the answers from the survey questions, showed that there is room to start addressing these inequalities.
