Kalibrace kontaktních a bezkontaktních teploměrů / Calibration of contact and non-contact thermometers

Skalický, David January 2016 (has links)
This work deals with the calibration of contact and contactless thermometers. The theoretical part describes physical laws, which are important for contact and contactless measuring of temperature, requirements for thermometers, suitability of use different types of thermometers and materials used for construction of temperature sensors. The following part describes metrology with the focus on metrology system of the Czech Republic. This thesis also describes errors and uncertainties of measurments, especially on their division, sources of uncertainties and methodology of type A and type B uncertainty determination. The practical part is focused on the calibration of thermometers within the Czech Metrological Institute and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication in Brno.

Ekonomické scénáře v pojišťovnictví / Economic scenarios in insurance

Krýcha, Daniel January 2012 (has links)
In this thesis we will focus on interest rate modelling and related practical aspects. We will explain the significance of generated scenarios of interest rate's movement for economic results of both life and non-life insurance companies. We will analyse presently known ways of approaching this matter and describe the selected models in detail. Taking into consideration the practical focus of this thesis, we will address the applied methods of model's calibration. Furthermore, we will employ these methods in an extensive numerical study, that will aim to reveal the weaknesses and strengths of particular calibration methods while implementing a specific model and to evaluate their potential application in actuarial practice. Central model of this work is CIR (Cox-Ingersoll-Ross) model.

Odhad rychlosti automobilů ve videu / Vehicle Speed Estimation from Video

Hájek, Pavel January 2017 (has links)
This master's thesis describes design and development of an application for estimation of vehicle speed from both recorded video file and from camera stream.  It explains the procecess of a camera calibration, vehicle detection and tracking and describes the robot operating system as a target platform. The application uses library OpenCV for most of tasks, to access video application uses a FFmpeg library. Results can be printed to the terminal window, they can also be logged to a file or published in ROS. Application is written in C++ language, some parts in Python.

Kalibrace rázového kladívka / Impact hammer calibration

Bilík, Šimon January 2019 (has links)
The theoretical part of this thesis focus on the description of the piezoelectric accelerometers and their use for the impact measurements. It also characterizes the construction and the calibration process of the impact hammers with the use of the piezoelectric accelerometers. The practical part describes the place of calibration with the calibration tools, identifies the source of the oscillations on the output signal of the accelerometer and suggests its compensation. Part of the thesis is a service program for the impact measurement, analysis and the impact hammer calibration. Thesis also describes the methodology of the calibration and quantifies the measurement uncertainty.

Srovnání možností uplatnění rentgenové mikrotomografie v metrologii s konvenčními přístupy / Comparison of X-ray microtomography possibilities of application in metrology with conventional approaches

Budiš, Marek January 2013 (has links)
Bc. Marek Budiš Comparison of X-ray microtomography possibilities of application in metrology with conventional approaches Master thesis, Institute of production machines, systems and robotics, BUT FME Brno This master thesis is focused on the analysis of metrological possibilities of using computer X-ray microtomography methods in the industry. The work contains a description of the methods, equipment and measurement. Listed are the main advantages of using X-ray tomography in metrology in comparison with coordinate measuring machine. The work deals with the measurement accuracy of microtomography machine GE V|tome|x L 240, analyzing sources of instrument uncertainty and its quantification. The work was also devised a practical table for the calculation of uncertainty of measurement. The practical part was also measuring on real samples of the industry.

Automatická on-line kalibrace a monitorování kalibrace páru kamera-lidar / Automatic On-Line Calibration and Calibration Monitoring of Cameras and Lidars

Moravec, Jaroslav January 2020 (has links)
Title: Automatic On-Line Calibration and Calibration Monitoring of Cameras and Lidars Author: Jaroslav Moravec Department: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Elena Šikudová, Ph.D., Department of Software and Computer Science Education Abstract: Cameras and LiDARs are important devices in the automotive indus- try as their combination provides useful information (3D coordinates of a point, its colour and intensity) for perception, localization, mapping and prediction. Successful data fusion and interpretation requires accurate calibration of intrin- sic parameters of the sensors and their 6D relative pose. In this thesis, we present a target-less calibration method on three different calibration tasks. The solu- tion is based on a robust likelihood function constructed over the reprojection error of LiDAR edges relative to image edges. When the calibration slowly wears off, our online recalibration procedure can jointly follow the extrinsic calibration drift with an average error of 0.13◦ in rotation and 4 cm in translation. Based on this recalibration tool, we are also able to monitor the calibration and detect an abrupt decalibration in a couple of seconds. And we also present a fully automatic calibration routine that estimates both the extrinsic and intrinsic...

Kalibrace závaží a vah / Calibration of weights and balances

Vojtová, Klára January 2013 (has links)
In the introductory chapter of this work is caught organizational structure of the national metrology system in the Czech Republic and its links to international organizations. There is indicated the basic terminology of metrology, particularly in the area of classification instruments. The following sections approaching the issue of measurement uncertainties, their classification, sources of uncertainty determined by the type A and B, their specifics and calculation. The above linked area already dealing with themselves calibrations, first of all calibration weights, classification of weights according accuracy classes, established procedures, and finally determining uncertainty in calibration weights. Then, immediately followed by a chapter dealing with calibration balances, performed tests and measurement uncertainties. The main part is of course directed towards the application of acquired knowledge to practical examples, thus performing the calibration weight class F2 using a high-precision weights, both in the premises of the Technical University in Brno, both in the laboratory weighing the Czech Metrological Institute. Further calibration was performed school balances Ohaus Explorer EX224.

Kalibrace fluorescenčních detektorů kosmického záření s použitím astronomických metod / Kalibrace fluorescenčních detektorů kosmického záření s použitím astronomických metod

Kotíková, Irena January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis examines the possibilities of a new method of astronomical calibration at the Pierre Auger Observatory in Argentina. Its goal is to use stars as objects with known brightness to calibrate the fluorescence detectors and compare these results with the existing calibration. The analysis was done using computer programs which use the star catalog and experimental background data to compare the current calibration with our method. Results that are presented conclude that the calibration using stars is consistent with the existing calibration, however, the error of the new method is much higher. Nevertheless, there is a good potential for scale - it could be used for all past and future data. Potential improvements to this method and its error are suggested.
