Renza, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with technology for the implementation and use of asphalt concrete for very thin layers (BBTM) with use of asphalt binder of high-polymer modification (HiMA). Further, there are described selected and performed functional tests. Thesis also contains design of a mixture for bituminous concrete type targeted for very thin layers with different types of binders. After a suitable design of the mixture, laboratory tests were carried out (stiffness modulus, resistance to permanent deformation, low temperature characteristics, water resistance and particle loss). The output of this work is a set of measured values and processed results with their interpretation.

Třísítný vibrační třídič / Three-sided vibrating screen

Švrček, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an inclined three-sided vibrating screen, which is designed for sorting bulk aggregates. The aim of the diploma thesis is primarily to make a construction design with a specific comparison of various design solutions, considering the calculated operating parameters. In the construction design, is used not only the experience of the manufacturer of this type of machine, but also recommendations based on the manu-facturers of screens component. The design also includes a comparison of two types of flex-ible mounting, which is one of the basic structural units of the entire vibrating screen. The thesis is conceived from the basics, with emphasis on the simplicity and functionality of the device.

Vliv triaxiální deformace kameniva na vlastnosti betonu / The influence of triaxial deformation of aggregates on properties of concrete

Fójcik, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
This diploma work takes focus in elastic modulus of unbound granular aggregates, which was determined by repeat load triaxial test and in deformation behaviour of unbound granular aggregates - elastic and plastic deformation. It was examine the propriety of this aggregate for its service as underlying granular material in pavement. Further, there was observed the influence of elastic modulus of unbound granular aggregates on concrete characteristics - compressive and bending strength. Finally, it was observed the influence of individual fractions of aggregates on its elastic modulus and strength of concrete.

Studium chování betonů při působení vysokých teplot / Studying the behavior of concrete at high temperatures

Tillová, Jana January 2013 (has links)
This master‘s thesis is focused on the study of the behavior of cement concrete at high temperatures with a focus on monitoring the impact of aggregate and cement type. This work describes the processes in aggregates and cement matrix at high temperatures. The theoretical part describes the selestion of a suitable aggregate and cement for the surroundings with potential exposure to high temperatures. In the experimental part is given design of composition of a concrete with two types of aggregates and four cements. It has been suggested 8 recipes. Changes were observed densities, compressive strength and tensile strength in bending, calculate the velocity of propagation of waves with ultrasonic pulsed method. Also evaluated the appearance of the surface samples after thermal load – cracks on the surface and measure the maximum crack width.

Ověření různých druhů popílků pro výrobu umělého kameniva / Verification of different types of fly ash for production of artificial aggregate

Zahálka, Milan January 2014 (has links)
Diploma thesis gives an overview of artificial lightweight aggregates based on fly ash. Fly ash such as the residues of coal burning is currently one of the most used secondary raw materials for new building materials for research papers. The results shows that the secondary energy products are not just fully substitute the primary component, but in many cases improves the final properties of building products. Wide complex of fly ashes not only from domestic sources was tested and it`s main properties important for it`s further application was determined. Laboratory production of artificial aggregates based on fly ash made by sintering and also by cold bonding and following manufacture of artificial fly ash aggregates in technological conditions are also solved. The thesis is simultaneously concentrate on review of the suitability of fly ash aggregates in lightweight concrete. It was found that the highest quality fly ash for the production of sintered fly ash aggregate is fly ash and FBC ash is the best for the production of cold bonded aggregates. It was also verified that both types of aggregates are applicable to lightweight concrete class LC 20/22. The vast majority of manufactured aggregates is suitable for the production of lightweight concrete class LC 30/33. It was demonstrated that the sintered fly ash aggregates can be also used for high strength lightweight concrete class LC 50/55. Tests have also verified that all tested fly ashes and products produced from them meet the requirements of legislation on environment.

Využití alternativních pojiv do stmelených směsí z recyklátů / Use of alternative binders in bound mixtures from waste building materials

Jakub, Tomáš January 2022 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused to use bonded base layers with different types of admixures for base layers of roads. The first, theoretical part of the work deals with summary of the available literature. Deals with basic and uncoventional type of admixures used for bonded base layers. The second, partical part of the work deals with comparsion of 5 bonded base layers with recycled asphalt with added artifical fibers, cellulose fibers or without admixures and one mixtures created only from First of all is described tesťs methods with design of mixtures and described materials. In the practical part of the work was tested compressive strength, transverse tensile strength and compressive strength after effects of frost. In the end of the work is comparsion all mixtures between themselves and determination effects admixtures on compressive strength and transverse tensile strength.

Vlastnosti asfaltových směsí typu SMA s R-materiálem / Properties of asphalt mixtures of SMA-type with RAP

Acuna Subia, Luis Carlos January 2018 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to verify and compare the properties of bituminous stone mastic asphalt, namely SMA 11S with modified PMB 45 / 80-55 asphalt binder or 50/70 road bitumen binder with rubber granulate. Comparison of properties is performed using functional tests. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the familiarization with the use of the SMA mixture, the selected concepts concerning recycling of non-leveled roads are described and described. Attention is paid especially to the recycling of roads in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on hot recycling on the incinerator, which allows increased dosing of Reclaimed Asphalt into asphalt mixtures. In the practical part, the results of the functional tests of the SMA 11S mixture, which have been taken from the test section, are processed and evaluated.

Horáková, Lucie January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis dealt with the possibilities of of utilization fiber-based and secondary easy-renewable raw sources in the production of lightweight building materials. The theoretical part includes literature search of the researches, which dealt with this issue. Appropriate sources of fibers were selected within the theoretical part and the findings were used in the practical part of the thesis. Within the practical part laboratory measurements and subsequent selection of the most suitable fibers were performed. Laboratory measurements and subsequent selection of the most suitable fibers were performed in the practical part. Subsequently, designs of thermal insulating plasters (with the possibility of using as repairing plasters) were made on the basis of lightweight glass aggregate, to which the production of test specimens was connected. Laboratory tests were performed on fresh and hardened mortars and subsequently evaluated. In conclusion, an economic evaluation and assessment of the competitiveness of the proposed plasters was carried out.
