Geobiocenologická diferenciace lesa a krajiny jako podklad lidské činnosti v krajině =:The geobiocoenological system of forests and landscape classification as a tool of human activity in landscape /

Friedl, Michal January 2019 (has links)
The topic of the dissertation is a development of geobiocoenology and geobiocoenological system of classification and their possible application in landscape management. The thesis is structured into four thematic blocks or case studies and is composed of reviewed and published works. The first part introduces the application of biogeographical differentiation of the landscape by a geobiocoenological approach in the development of the concept of ancient coppice forests, estimation of their distribution in the Czech Republic and description of their state. The second study deals with the testing of empirically defined units of the Czech Forest Ecosystem Classification based on the evaluation of 11,885 geobiocoenological relevés stored in the Database of Czech Forest Ecosystem Classification and containing a series of accurately measured environmental data. The last two studies are operational applications of geobiocoenology. In the first one, geobiocoenology was used for the construction of a regional forest development plan in the Ukrainian Carpathians. In the second one was geobiocoenology used for the differentiation of the peak positions of Hrubý Jeseník, because of which, besides other things, was predicted the development of biotopes in case of removing allochthonous stands of mountain pine. This dissertation demonstrates the multifaceted use of geobiocoenology, contributes to its development and enriches it also at the level of operational applications.

Belemniti spodní křídy (a hraničního intervalu hranice J/K) oblasti severozápadní Tethydy, biostratigrafie, paleobiogeografie a paleoekologie / Lower Cretaceous belemnites (including J/K boundary interval) in the NW Tethys, biostratigraphy, palaeobiogeography and palaeoecology

Vaňková, Lucie January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with the belemnite fauna from the Outer Western Carpathians Klippen, its systematic classification, stratigraphical and palaeogeographical evaluation. The palaeontological/palaeobiological approach, together with isotope analyses, including of carbon and oxygen stable isotopes and of strontium isotopes, enabled an integrated investigation of the palaeoecological conditions during the Jurassic/Cretaceous (J/K) boundary interval and the Early Cretaceous age. The Tethyan belemnites are not intensively studied in detail in the J/K interval, as they occur rather rarely in the sections, and/or sedimentary conditions were not suitable for their preservation. Therefore, belemnites are described only from a few sites in the Mediterranean Province. On the basis of recent research, the stratigraphic range of several species previously considered to be from the Tithonian age was extended to the earliest Cretaceous. By contrast, the Lower Cretaceous belemnites (since the late Berriasian) are more abundant. In the classical areas of the Tethyan Realm, it is possible to study the Lower Cretaceous belemnites in great detail and, according to their higher abundance, to determine an individual assemblage corresponding to stratigraphical intervals. Their occurrence is also an important basement for...

Deformace, metamorfóza a metasomatóza v gemersko-veporské kontaktní zóně v Západních Karpatech a možné vazby na Greywacke Zone ve Východních Alpách / Deformation, metamorphism and metasomatism in the Gemer-Vepor Contact Zone in the Western Carpathians and the possible links to the Greywacke Zone in the Eastern Alps

Novotná, Nikol January 2019 (has links)
The studied area extends from the Ochtiná Unit in Western Carpathians to the Veitsch Nappe Eastern Alps. The thesis represents a complex multidisciplinary work that combines the structural analysis, petrology and geochronology. The three main objectives of this thesis: reevaluation of the structure, deformation and metamorphic records, and original position of the Ochtiná Unit, understanding the distinct metasomatic processes recorded along the contact of two major units of the Central Western Carpathians - in the Gemer-Vepor Contact Zone - and their relation to distinct tectono-metamorphic events, testing the possible links between the Ochtiná Unit in the Gemer-Vepor Contact Zone of the Western Carpathians and the Veitsch Nappe in the Greywacke Zone of the Easten Alps, both well known for the Lower Carboniferous shale/schist sequence accompanied by the abundant presence of magnesite ore bodies. Keywords: Central Western Carpathians, Greywacke Zone, Ochtiná Unit, Veitsch Nappe, U-Pb zircon dating, Phase equilibrium modelling
