Nowadays, the extensive transformation of the whole school system is taking place in our society. School curriculum is introduced into all primary schools since September 2007. This diploma thesis is focused on accumulated experience of primary schools with the creation of school curriculum and the first practical experience with its implementation The first part of this thesis is devoted to the history of Czech education reforms, defines the basic terminology, discusses the different parts of general educational program and describes the creation of school curriculum. Another part is devoted to the research where we compare the experience of some primary schools with the creation and the implementation of school curriculum. In this case, it is used the method of questionnares and observation. The research is mainly focused on the problems of its own making and implementation.

The diploma thesis on the subject of Project education in a littleclass school raises a research question: Does the inclusion of a project education in a littleclass school help to develop pupils key competencies? The aim is to describe, analyse and evaluate the use of project education at the primary level of a littleclass school. In here project education is understood as one of the possibilities of realising educational content, which is defined by the Framework Educational Program for elementary education. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the transformation of the Czech education after 1989. It points out the humanisation program of school reform and constructivist approaches in teaching. It deals with the characteristics of project education, typologies and phases of the project. It familiarises itself with the specifics of a littleclass school and with the possibility of incorporating project education into this type of school. It points out the positives, but maybe even the dificulties of project education. The identification and development of high potential employees is part of talent management, which is currently one of the priorities of strategic human resources management. According to relevant surveys, high potential employees account for less than five percent of the total number of employees. First, the thesis deals with talent management, its theoretical background and historical development. Subsequently, from the point of view of HR managers, it focuses on the issue of highly potential employees in order to find out which competencies are key to this group of employees. The partial objective is to clarify the extent to which selected companies in the Czech Republic agree or differ in terms of high potential employees. A qualitative survey is used to examine both objectives, consisting of a semi-structured interview with company managers and point scale. The aim of the thesis is to describe the set of key competencies of high potential employees and to distinguish them from the set of competencies of other employees.

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of unemployment on the life of young people. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, it reflects the situation of unemployed young people on the labour market and deals with the negative consequences of long-term unemployment. It looks at the life strategies of the unemployed and summarizes the lessons learned about the possibilities of tackling unemployment from education policy and employment policy. In the empirical section then focuses on answering questions about the possibility of solving unemployment from the perspective of examiners of employment and of the unemployed by means of a questionnaire survey. Reflects their mutual cooperation and the two groups of respondents offering suggestions to improve information about further education and retraining courses. In the conclusions of the questionnaire survey assessed the benefits and shortcomings of the methods of electronic questionnaire and the research.

This diploma thesis focuses on the period of a child's transition from kindergarten to elementary school, an important milestone in every child's life. The theoretical part addresses current legislation, preschool education with its goals and sylabus, entry to elementary school, the child's maturity and readiness, and factors, which affect a child's adaptation in elementary school. By utilizing investigative inquiries, this thesis confronts opinions of the lay and expert community on school maturity and readiness, a child's preparation for compulsory schooling, the cooperation of kindergarten and family and child's adaptation to the school system. From data gained through surveys and semi-structured interviews it is evident, that opinions of parents and educators are alike and supplement each other. The applied method of testing allowed to detect and compare the real level of school maturity and preparedness of children at preschool classes of kindergarten and pupils in first grade at elementary school. The level of school maturity and preparedness is higher with pupils of the first grade of elementary school, thereby proving the hypothesis. The aim of this thesis is to create and implement a competency-based approach in the organization Junák - Czech Scouting for children of younger school age. Further, it analyses the possibilities and limits of such an approach. The theoretical part deals with the development of key competencies through scout education. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the educational programme in the children's organization Junák - Czech Scout at the beginning of the 21st century. Furthermore, the terms of competence and key competence are discussed. The practical part was carried out as action research in the 3rd Scout Unit Holubov. Using a questionnaire survey, the research first focuses on the reflection of Scout Paths, which represent the current scout tool for applying the competency-based approach. The next part of the research concentrates on creating a new competency-based model that verifies and reflects in practice. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of this new model are analyzed and suggestions for further implementations are proposed. Diplomová práce se zabývá konceptem "závěrečných bakalářských prací žáků 5. tříd" na základní škole v kontextu badatelsky orientovaného vyučování. Práce si klade za cíl popsat celý proces vzniku takovéto závěrečné práce a popsat jeho souvislosti s badatelsky orientovaným vyučováním a rozvojem klíčových kompetencí. Autor v teoretické části vysvětluje jednotlivé kroky badatelsky orientovaného vyučování, definuje klíčové kompetence a přibližuje problematiku psaní a čtení odborného textu. V praktické části v kontextu badatelsky orientovaného vyučování pak analyzuje jednotlivé fáze procesu tvorby žákovské práce od výběru tématu až po závěrečnou obhajobu. Při analýze vychází ze zkušeností pedagogů základní školy a doplňuje ji o konkrétní ukázky ze žákovských prací. The diploma thesis deals with the influence of art education on the development of key competences within the curriculum for the elementary school. The thesis explores the potential of this discipline and the possibility to apply it to the development and strengthening of cognitive functions, self-confidence, social and communication skills in children in the elderly school age. The first theoretical part focuses on the concept of art education and its present currents in relation to both the changing educational content and some of the problems encountered in common school practice. Particular attention is paid to the animo-centric approach to which the author reports, and at the same time he feels the need to define the boundary between developing competencies and solving specific problems of individual pupils or classroom dynamics, between artefiletics and activities that approach their approach to artetherapy. In this thesis, we assume a pan-European issue of the decline of interest in science and science education. In connection with this issue we conducted a literature search. We have also mapped the literature related to the issue of education research in the Czech Republic and the rest of the world. In an effort to increase pupils' interest, increase enthusiasm for science, we deal with activation teaching methods that compare with frontal teaching. As a motivational method we chose a research method of teaching. We prepared a lesson, which we tested among pupils of secondary school. In this work we watched 16 hours in 6 classes. Those lectures were inquiry and frontal way led. The results are presented in the practical part of this thesis. During lectures we wanted to stimulate students' interest in science and science research.
