New trends in international commercial arbitration The subject of this diploma thesis is the international commercial arbitration as a dynamicallydeveloping field and more specificallyselected segments of the development of this field. Due to the great popularity ofsolvinginternationalcommercialdisputestheotherwaythanincivillitigationinternationalcommercial arbitration is a very important and growing field. International commercial arbitration is pushed continuallytobeimprovedtobeabletoprovideaquick, qualifiedandfairsolution.Sincethereis changed competencefrom courttoarbitratoritis alsoveryimportant forstates toensurethat arbitrationawards that haveariseninthearbitrationprocedurerespectpublicorderandthattheprocedure keepscertainstandards of the process. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical definition of international commercial arbitration, the distinctions between arbitration and civil litigation and ADR methods. There are also named theoretical concepts of arbitration such as contractual theory, jurisdictional theory, hybrid and autonomous theory with representatives of each one. The second section describes the development of the international arbitration and covers all important sources of law of international arbitration. Since there are...

Spalovací komora Stirlingova motoru o výkonu do 3 kW / Stirling engine 3kW combustion chamber

Matuška, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the construction proposal of the combustion chamber of Stirling engine. The introduction briefly describes the history and practical application of Stirlinova engine today. The following section explains the differences between theoretical and real cycle and the principle of beta Stirling engine modifications. The next section is devoted to the calculation of fuel and air consumption and fuel compared to each other. The proposed design is based not only on the calculation of fuel and air, but also heat transfer between flue gas and preheated air. The last part is devoted to calculating the flow of LPG and flow model of the combustion chamber.

Mechanismy adaptace hemodynamiky při uplatnění perkutánní venoarteriální mimotělní podpory oběhu u srdečního selhání / Hemodynamic adaptation mechanisms of heart failure to percutaneous venoarterial extracorporeal circulatory support

Hála, Pavel January 2020 (has links)
Introduction: Venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA ECMO) is widely used in the treatment of circulatory failure, but repeatedly, its negative effects on the left ventricle (LV) have been observed. The purpose of this study is to assess the influence of ex- tracorporeal blood flow (EBF) on systemic hemodynamic changes and LV performance parameters during VA ECMO therapy of decompensated heart failure. Methods: Porcine models of low-output chronic and acute heart failure were developed by long-term fast cardiac pacing and coronary hypoxemia, respectively. Profound signs of circulatory decompensation were defined by reduced cardiac output and tissue hypoperfusion. Sub- sequently, under total anesthesia and artificial ventilation, VA ECMO was introduced. LV performance and organ specific parameters were recorded at different levels of EBF using an LV pressure-volume loop analysis, arterial flow probes on carotid and subclavian arteries, and transcutaneous probes positioned to measure cerebral and forelimb regional tissue oxygen saturations. Results: Conditions of severely decompensated heart failure led to systemic hypotension, low tissue and mixed venous oxygen saturations, and increase in LV end-diastolic pressure. By increasing the EBF from minimal flow to 5 L/min, we observed a...

Oxidační a karbonylový stres, mikrozánět a kardiovaskulární riziko u pacientů s onemocněním ledvin. / Oxidative and carbonyl stress, microinflammation and cardiovascular risk in patiens with chronic kidney disease

Peiskerová, Martina January 2015 (has links)
Short summary: Background: High cardiovascular risk in patients with chronic kidney disease is partly due to mineral dysbalance, microinflammation and oxidative stress. CKD patients accumulate traditional and non-traditional CV risk factors. FGF23, MMPs and PlGF belong among these non-traditional biomarkers of CV risk. FGF23 is a phosphaturic hormone and inhibitor of calcitriol synthesis. It is associated with vascular calcifications. Matrix-metalloproteinases (e.g. MMP-2, MMP-9) are proteolytic, proinflammatory enzymes, contributing to myocardial remodelation. Placental growth factor (PlGF) is a proangiogenic cytokine that is associated with LV hypertrophy in animal model. Plasmatic FGF23, MMPs and PlGF are elevated in CKD. Aim: We aimed to describe dynamic changes between several novel biomarkers of CV risk (FGF23, MMP-2, MMP-9 and PlGF) in CKD stages 1-5, to describe their mutual correlations and possible association with traditional CV risk markers. We studied possible association of laboratory and echocardiographic parameters in patients with CKD stages 2-4. Methods: In a cross-sectional study we evaluated 80 patiens with CKD 1-5 and 44 healthy controls. In a prospective study we evaluated echocardiographic and laboratory parameters in 62 patients with CKD 2-4 for an average study period of 36±10...

My dissertation deals with personality of Jan Sádlo of Smilkov, who was a noble man in king's sevices and who lived at he turned of 13th and 14th century. Dissertation tries to express elemental aspects of his life, which determined his life and this dissertation also tries to complete missing information about his family, property and also tries to find in which community he could be found and with whom he kept in touch with and how can these persons influence his personality. Dissertation also deals with his career, mainly his activity in king's Václav IV. court, where he became a influential person, who became involved in political situation in country during the beginning of hussite revolution. In dissertation is also covered his political downfall and his death. Life of Jan Sádlo of Smilkov was in my dissertation shown as an exapmle of low nobleman who could due to political situation become influential person and who could become involved in political development. . Keywords gentry, court of Václav IV., holding, followers of Jan Hus, administrator of ro

Remodelace levé komory srdeční u pacientů s primárním hyperaldosteronismem a esenciální hypertenzí / Left ventricle remodeling in patients with primary aldosteronism and essential hypertension

Indra, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
Myocardial damage is one of the most serious consequences of arterial hypertension. Changes in the heart structure and function develop not only due to pressure overload itself, but many other hemodynamic and neurohumoral factors contribute to their formation. Our work has compared echocardiohraphic strucutural anf functional changes of the left ventricle, caused by essential hypertension and hypertension associated with primary aldosteronism (PA) as the most common reason for secondary hypertension. The first part of our work focused on the differences in left ventricle geometry in men with PA and essential hypertension after separating it's low-renin form (where, similarly to PA, the plasma volume expansion was considered to have the dominant effect on left ventricle remodelation). In men with low-renin forms of hypertension including PA, we observed greater both endsystolic and enddiastolic diameter of the left ventricle, lower relative wall thickness and more frequent eccentric type of hypertrophy when compared to essential hypertensives with normal renin levels. Whereas left ventricle cavity diameters were positively correlated to aldosterone levels, wall thicknesses were associated mainly with hypertension severity expressed as an average 24hour blood pressure and number of antihypertensives....

Postavení Senátu PČR po 20 letech / Position and role of the Czech Senate twenty years after its creation

Rameš, Jan January 2019 (has links)
This thesis is dealing with the problematic position of the upper house of the czech Parliament. In this thesis author is operating as with primary literature (i.e. laws and historic constitutional documents) in analysis historical moments of the czech parliamentarism, so with direct observation of the members of the Senate (in 11th term). Author was focusing himself on direct observations of the senate committees and plenary session of the Senate. With great help of the Senate's staff and senator Jaromír Jermář, all the members of the Senate was addressed with author's request to participate in research. Results of this research are basic cornerstone in order to answer the questions in the introduction about the sense and the role of the upper house of the czech Parliament. First chapter represents an introduction, where are the most important sources, metodology, questions entitled and this problematic is basically explained. Second chapter is aiming on the theoretical concept of the bicameral parliaments. Third chapter is profoundly analysing the historical experience of the Czech state with the second chambre parliament. Fourth chapter is, finally, analysing the representational, constitutional and legislative-controlling functions of the Senate toward the executive. Fifth chapter is...
