Attachment, komunikační styly a partnerské přizpůsobení v dlouhodobém vztahu / Attachment, communication styles and relationship adjustment in long-term romantic partners

Fišerová, Anna January 2019 (has links)
Constructive management of relationship conflicts, which may be conditioned by the interaction of both romantic partners, is a key factor for mutual satisfaction. Therefore, the main aim of this thesis was to find out a mediating role of conflict communication styles in long-term heterosexual couples. For the Practical part of the thesis was chosen a quantitative research, including data from 76 long-term heterosexual couples between 18 - 40 years of age. Attachment dimensions were measured by The Close Relationship Experience - Revised (ECR-R-16), relationship adjustment by The Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS), and six conflict communication styles (compromising, dominant, separating, submissive, avoidant and reactive) by The Romantic Partner Conflict Scale (RPCS). The effect of conflict communication styles as mediators seems to be predicted by attachment and gender. In men, the mediating function of communication styles between attachment and relationship adjustment was confirmed for reactive and avoidant style, in women for reactive and compromising. The mediating effect of communication styles was not significant for partners' relationship adjustment. Key words: attachment, romantic relationships, communication styles, conflict communication

Teorie politického spektra / Theory of Political Spectrum

Bonuš, Věnek January 2020 (has links)
Theory of Political Spectrum Proposed New Model of Political Spectrum in the Context of Political Changes Caused by Globalisation Major political changes are happening across Europe and the world during the second decade of the 21 century, represented by the collapse of traditional party systems or Brexit. Current models of political spectrum cannot convincingly explain these changes. In my thesis, I propose a new model of political spectrum which reflects contemporary political changes and contributes to their explanation. Main innovation of the model is the inclusion of political conflict based on globalisation. In the first part of the thesis, I describe historic and modern models of political spectrum including the well-known political compass. I analyse them, critically assess them and form general methodological requirements, which should be met by functional models of political spectrum. In the second part of the thesis, I integrate cleavage theory into the theory of political spectrum. Cleavage theory addresses the most salient political conflicts in political systems. Furthermore, I describe the decline of traditional cleavages and changes in party systems. I dedicate most of my attention to a new cleavage caused by globalisation, described as transnational cleavage. In the third part of the...

Politické strany na pomezí civilizací / Party Politics in Intercivilisational Encounters : The Modernity Cleavage

Šimral, Vít January 2013 (has links)
PhDr. Vít Šimral, LL.B. (Hons) Party Politics in Intercivilisational Encounters: The Modernity Cleavage Abstract The thesis presents an extension of the Lipset - Rokkan model of cleavage-based party politics. It employs concepts of civilisational analysis, particularly the concept of multiple modernities as devised by Shmuel Eisenstadt, to describe the emergence of anti-Western fundamental movements in Russia and Egypt at the start of the 20th century. The introductory chapter discusses the existing literature and recent trends in mainstream studies of party politics, noting particularly the divergence between research into Western and non-Western political parties. The second chapter focuses on the Rokkanian branch of party studies and the use of the cleavage concept outside the political region of Western Europe. In the third chapter, the concept of 'modernity cleavage' is presented, based on theoretical assumptions common both to the Rokkanian agenda and to civilisational analysis. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with the empirical analysis of two cases, the Russian Communists and Egyptian Muslim Brothers, respectively, with the goal to extract findings from presented historical data through a basic-level comparative and ground-theoretical approach. In the final chapter, the thesis is concluded with a...

Komparace vývoje stranických systémů v České republice a ve Slovenské republice. / Comparison of party system development in Czechk republic and in Slovak republic.

Kučerová, Kateřina January 2021 (has links)
The master thesis "Comparison of the development of party systems in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic in 2010-2020" is focused on the analysis of the development of the Czech and Slovak party system in the years 2010-2020 and their mutual comparison. So the milestone for the analysis was the years 2010-2020. During this period there were fundamental changes in the Czech and Slovak party systems, which was the main reason for choosing this topic. The individual periods of development of both party systems will be defined by parliamentary elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and to the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The analysis is based on the methods mentioned in the theoretical part of the work and on the classical typologies of party systems of M. Duverger, J. Blondel and G. Sartori. In the analysis itself, electoral statistics, surveys of electoral preferences and media sources are largely used. Among the main criteria for the analysis, the number and size of political parties and their relevance were determined. The relevance means the determination of coalition or blackmail potential. Furthermore, the degree of fragmentation of the party system and the main cleavages will be determined. The comparison will be based on an analysis...

Prvky komiky v dramatickém zpracování konfliktu v Severním Irsku v období po jeho ukončení / Comic Elements in the Post-Conflict Dramatic Representation of the Troubles in Northern Ireland

Zdraveska, Marija January 2020 (has links)
The purpose of this MA thesis is to analyse the function of the comic elements in several post-conflict Northern Irish plays that deal with the legacy of the Troubles. This thesis stems from the hypothesis that the approach towards the armed conflict has changed during the 20 years of peace and has allowed playwrights to offer comical perspectives that not only critically engage with the issue, but at the same time help both sides of the conflict deal with the remaining trauma caused by it. The thesis provides a close reading of four Northern Irish plays which have achieved a considerable critical acclaim. The four plays chosen for the purpose of this MA thesis are: Tim Loane's comedies Caught Red Handed (2002), produced by the Tinderbox Theatre Company, and first performed in 2002 as a site-specific piece at the Northern Bank Building in Belfast; To Be Sure (2007), also written by Tim Loane, which premiered at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast five years later;1 The History of the Troubles (accordin' to my Da) (2002), a collaboration between the playwright Martin Lynch and the comedians Connor Grimes and Alan McKee, first performed at the Northern Bank as a commission by the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival; and David Ireland's Cyprus Avenue (2016), which premiered the Abbey Theatre in 2016. The choice...

Čína, Indie a potenciál ozbrojeného konfliktu v jihovýchodní Asii / China, India and the potential for armed conflict in South East Asia

Blažek, Zdeněk January 2013 (has links)
Master's thesis China, India and the armed conflict potential in South East Asia is concerned with the current relations of mentioned countries and is trying to figure out, if an outburst of a military conflict between them could occur or whether they will rather cooperate. The thesis is based on the notion that these two world giants in the terms of number of inhabitants, area and even a GDP volume have an unresolved border dispute, ever since the India reached independence. Their mutual border has never been officially demarcated. The small skirmishes between the border patrols of both states are uncountable. In addition, in 1962 they waged a war against each other, which China won in very decisive manner. Both states have been disputing which side caused this conflict till today. Rising economic power of both states currently, together with supposed arming, development of military rocket and submarine technology capable to carry nuclear warheads and establishment of naval bases by China in the proximity of India could create a really effervescent atmosphere in the area. The thesis is divided into six chapters. First chapter introduces the topic. Second chapter establishes the theoretic framework, which is underpinning the research. The other chapters are empirical. The main areas of the analysis...
