Diploma thesis is designed as quantitative research study. The aim is to find out the opinion and attitude of teachers from Czech primary schools concerning the new curriculum reform, which has officially come into use in the form of Framework Educational Program in 2005. The new system of curriculum documents replaces the former educational programs based on centrally imposed curriculum and thus broadens the autonomy of teachers and school institutions, who were assigned to prepare their own school educational program. Another aim is to present, how teachers perceive the barriers and inner motivations related to these reform changes in schools, and how these barriers affect the overall attitude towards the reform. Postmoderní společnost a současné úkoly výchovy a vzdělávání / Postmodern Society and Contemporary Tasks of EducationWirthová, Jitka January 2013 (has links)
(in English): This Diploma work is examining the relation between contemporary social conceptions and aims of education how these are expressed by curriculum documents mainly in Czech Republic. But this relation is not the case of easy and unidirectional impact of social knowledge to educational science. That is why the first part of this thesis is focused on four important postmodern philosophical and sociological concepts differently delimiting as distinct from modern society. General overview of contemporary society change characteristics proceeding from these analyses is the basis of rather different ways of pedagogical thinking followings. With three pedagogical conceptions simultaneously present in nowadays pedagogical discourse, but originally emerged in different eras and different social backgrounds I am trying to point to considerable antinomy demands on present aims of education. I am delineating which phrasings of social reality the contemporary Czech educational policy is rising from. I am stating that the reduction of social reality as background of education in general can lead to formation of ambivalences in suggested educational policy solutions. Finally this diploma work is trying to put forward brief proposals for solution of these new problems of education.

Informovanost rodičovské veřejnosti o kurikulární reformě / Parent's acquaintance with curriculum reformCheccacci, Pavlína January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is of a theoretical nature: it does not include any field research. It includes a proposal for an elementary school brochure-guide for parents in Czech Republic, created by the author of this thesis. The thesis summarizes findings on the educational curriculum reform in the Czech Republic, which took place in 2007, and analyses ways in which parents were informed. The text focuses first on the reform itself, its objectives and its basic features. It then analyses the relationship between family and school, stating that parents as a group are of major importance for the successful implementation of the reform. It is therefore crucial to properly understand this group. In connection with the reform and its importance for parents, the text deals with how the informational campaign was conceived in the Czech Republic and in the UK. The 'Guide for Parents of English pupils aged 5 to 7 years' is then described as a source of ideas. Based on this, a proposal for a brochure-guide was created to be used as informational material for parents in the Czech Republic.
