Syntéza kvantových teček pro in-vivo zobrazování / Synthesis of quantum dots for in-vivo imaging

The aim of this work was to synthesise water-soluble QDs using different precursors and stabilizers and to determine the toxicity of the synthesized QDs by in vivo imaging. Experiments were performed on water-soluble QDs (MPA-CdTe, MPA-CdTe/ZnS, MSA-CdTe, MSA-CdTe/ZnS, GSH-CdTe, GSH-CdTe/ZnS, TGA-CdTe, TGA-CdTe/ZnS, GSH-ZnSe and GSH-ZnSe/ZnS ) and toxicity was measured. Synthesized QDs were characterized by high intensity (fluorescence spectroscopy), FWHM and zeta potential (ZS Zetasizer) were selected due to their suitability for this task. The toxicity of QDs was determined by the MTT assay on the cell line HEK 293. The experiments show that a core/shell structure is less toxic than a core structure. The results indicate that the toxicity of our synthesized QDs is the lowest for MPA-CdTe (core structure) and MPA-CdTe/ZnS (core/shell structure).

Vývoj instrumentace a metodiky v proteomické a environmentální analýze / Development of Instrumentation and Methodology in Proteomic and Environmental Analysis

Tato práce je zaměřena jak na cílený tak na přehledný přístup ve studiu proteomiky. Cílená proteomika přináší informace o přítomnosti proteinu a jeho lokalizaci v buňce či tkáni pomocí luminiscenčních značek na bázi kvantových teček, zatímco přehledná proteomika se zabývá identifikací změn v proteomu dvou nebo více jedinců stejného druhu vystavených různým podmínkám. Protože proteomika vyžaduje vysoce citlivé separační a identifikační techniky, byly v této práci ověřeny různé metody zlepšení citlivosti kapilární elektroforézy s hmotnostní detekcí. Použití rozhraní s kapalinovým spojem pro spojení těchto dvou technik, které zajišťuje vyšší citlivost analýz, bylo také ověřeno analýzou metabolitů etanolu a kokainu v lidské moči. Zavedené techniky instrumentace jsou využitelné při posouzení vlivu významných faktorů životního prostředí na živé systémy jak na buněčné tak na molekulární úrovni.

Title: Quantum computing algorithms for quantum chemistry Author: Jakub Višňák Abstract: The topic of this study is the simulation of the quantum algorithm for the diagonalization of the matrix representation of the all-electron Dirac-Coulomb hamiltonian of the SbH molecule. Two different limited CI expansions were used to describe both the ground state (X 0+ ) and the first excited doublet (A 1) by simulating the Iterative Phase Estinamtion Algorith (IPEA). In the simulations numerically performed in this work, the "compact mapping" has been employed for the representation of the evolution operator exp(i Hˆ t); in the theoretical part of the work, the "direct mapping" is described as well. The influence of the metodics for choosing the initial eigenvector estimate is studied in both IPEA A and IPEA B variants. For those variants, the success probabilities pm are computed for different single-points on the SbH dissociation curves. The initial eigenvector estimates based on the "CISD(2)" method are found to be sufficient for both studied LCI-expansions up to internuclear distance R  6 a0. The pm dependence on the overlap between the eigenvector in question and its inital estimate - 2 0  is studied the for IPEA B method. Recent results from cognitive psychology suggest that human behavior can be, in some situations, better described by laws known from physical quantum theory. This work responds to this development and seeks to answer the question of how quantum models of cognition and decision-making can contribute to our understanding of the social world. We introduce the approaches to the application of quantum theory in social sciences - quantum consciousness, quantum reasoning and quantum metaphor and further develop the second, in the context of strategic interaction in game theory. We show that the quantum model corresponds to both the psychological intuition and many empirically known anomalies such as the order effect, disjunction effect, or context effect. In this work, we derive a specific model of strategic interaction between two players, and we test it in the experimental Prisoner's Dilemma game. The model is based on the rational choice theory, which is nevertheless re-defined when it is shown how the strategic choice is changed if the quantum probability (C*-algebra) is used as the underlying theory instead of classical probability (σ-algebra). Využití termovizní kamery pro měření teploty elektrických strojů / Utilization of infrared camera for temperature measurement of electrical machines

The master‘s thesis deals with utilization of infrared camera for temperature measurement of electrical machines. The first part describes non-contact temperature measuring, the second part describes principle of sensors that evaluate quantity of incident infrared radiation. In the next part there is termovision camera SAT-HY 6800 presented and the instructional manual for SAT Report computer programme created. This computer programme is used for analyzing of termovision pictures from the SAT-HY 6800 termovison camera. The chapter 7 describes temperature measuring of one-phase asynchronous motor type J22TO484. The chapter 8 describes temperature measuring of semiconductor components of EC motor G6 series. Both of these motors are produced by ATAS elektromotory Náchod a.s. The last part of the thesis describes creation of animation of one-phase asynchronous motor type J22TO455. The animation was created in 3ds Max computer programme.
