The ornithopod dinosaur Rhabdodon from the Late Cretaceous of France : anatomy, systematics and paleobiology / Le dinosaure ornithopode Rhabdodon dans le Crétacé supérieur de France : anatomie, systématique et paléobiologie

Chanthasit, Phornphen 30 June 2010 (has links)
The ornithopod dinosaur Rhabdodon was named by Matheron in 1869 and a first species,Rhabdodon priscus, was proposed on the basis of a dentary fragment with its diagnostic teeth from the LateCretaceous of Bouches-du-Rhône in southern France. A new species, R. septimanicus, was subsequentlyerected by Buffetaut and Le Loeuff (1991) based on a characteristic dentary from a Late Cretaceous locality atMontouliers (Hérault). The validity of the latter species was in debate, the question being how many species ofRhabdodon existed in Southern France. Abundant unpublished material (both cranial and postcranial) ofRhabdodon discovered in recent excavations at various localities in southern France is described, as a result ofwhich the anatomy of this animal is now better known. A reconstruction of Rhabdodon is proposed. R.septimanicus is considered as valid by including new cranial elements from Quarante (Hérault). Two species ofRhabdodon undoubtedly coexisted in the same time interval (Late Campanian – Early Maastrichtian) insouthern France. The phylogenetic analysis confirms that Rhabdodon can be placed in a distinct family,Rhabdodontidae, which also includes its sister taxon, Zalmoxes, from which it is distinguished by numerouspostcranial characters. Rhabdodontidae has a close relation with Iguanodontia. It is suggested that the commonancestor of the rhabdodontid dinosaurs evolved in North America, and then dispersed to Europe and eventuallyevolved in geographical isolation on the various European landmasses during the Late Cretaceous.

Johann Anton Schmidt a kostel sv. Michaela Archanděla ve Smržovce v kontextu české architektury po polovině 18. století / Johann Anton Schmidt and the church St Michael Archangel in Smržovka in the context of czech architecture in the second half of 18. century.

Bachtík, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is dealing with life and work of Anton Schmidt, the remarkable architect of czech late baroque period. The text focuses mainly on his sacral architecture, especially on St. Michael Archanděl in Smržovka, which represents the notable example of baroque dynamism in czech architecture of the second half of the 18th century. Anton Schmidt is recognized as very important figure of czech late baroque architecture. He followed the tradition of domestic high baroque epoque and the work of K. I. Dientzenhofer. But on the other hand, Schmidt introduced various motifs of neoclasicissm very early into czech milieu. Therefore the typical feature of his architecture is the synthesis of styles combined with refine architectural language. His most important works are - besides the church in Smržovka - church St. Bartoloměj in Černouček, Kounický palace in Prague- Malá Strana and castle in Zahrádky u České Lípy. This thesis brings also a new discovery of previously unknown Schmid's structure - church St. Jan Nepomucký na Poušti in Železný Brod.

Pozdní rodičovství a jeho vliv na výchovný styl / Late parenthood and its influence on bringing up style of the child

Szendiová, Viera January 2012 (has links)
The topic of the diploma work is the influence of the late parenthood on the style of upbringing. Late parenthood offers experience of the mature parent oriented in time who is aware of the responsibility towards oneself and towards thle child. Mental maturity and life experience determine attitude of the parent to upbringing. In my work I concentrate on healthy families which make the most suitable environment for the upbringing of the children. The natural environment of the healthy, functional family greatly influences the complexity of the impact in educational interaction between parents and the child.

Diverzita životního prostředí v pozdním glaciálu ve střední Evropě / Environmental gradients during Late Glacial in Central Europe

Petr, Libor January 2013 (has links)
The Lateglacial and Early Holocene are key periods with respect to the understanding of the present-day vegetation and environment. An interdisciplinary approach is important for the study of these changes. Only by interlinking biological and geoscience evidence can we obtain a more comprehensive picture of this key period. It is not possible to interpret any pollen spectrum in the sedimentary record without knowledge of the history of the locality and its vicinity. Rapid climate changes had a crucial effect on the environment and vegetation. Continentality of the climate and a deficit of precipitation amplify the effect of local conditions. Vegetation, as in the case of vertebrates and molluscs, comprises a combination of species of a continental steppe, mountain biotopes and disturbed habitats. This facilitated contact among species and populations that are biogeographically separated at present. Vegetation of the Lateglacial period in the Czech Republic ranges in character from frost barrens in the mountains, through steppe-tundra vegetation at medium altitudes to a continental steppe in the lowlands and pine woodlands constrained to a moist floodplain. The Western Carpathians were covered by a taiga. In the Pannonian Lowland, there were open forests with conifers and broadleaved woody plants....

Oděv jako výraz moci a hierarchií od konce 14. do konce 15. století. Komparace vývoje v českých zemích a Burgundsku / Clothing as Manifestation of Power and Hierarchy from the End of the 14th Century to the End of the 15th Century. Comparison of the Developement in the Czech Lands and Burgundy

Hojková, Anna January 2013 (has links)
The thesis "Clothing as Manifestation of Power and Hierarchy from the End of the 14th Century to the End of the 15th Century. Comparison of the Developement in the Czech Lands and Burgundy" describes the evolution of clothing style in both countries. It is based mainly on iconographic resources, with some additional information from written sources and literature. On this base the approach and means to this kind of representation of secular higher class in given areas are compared. The original basis of the 14th century French court culture was further developed by the Burgundian society, with emphasis on the shaped silhouette. On the other hand, the Czech lands departed from this way and adopted a new direction to the German area. The transalpine impulses are reflected as late as in the last quarter of the 15 th century. The material of the clothes is assessed as a more important aspect of representation than the shape. The text outlines also the way of further development as well as points out some unclear articles of the topic.

Motivace pracovníků v období mladé a starší dospělosti / Workers' motivation in the period of young and late middle adulthood

Krchová, Eva January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the topic of motivating workers, particularly on two groups of workers - workers in the life period of young adulthood and workers in the period of late middle adulthood. In the introduction the reason for chosing this topic is explained, there are also defined the key words of this problematic and the classic motivation theories; the overview of the motivation theories focused on work environment follow afterwards. Also the findings of developmental psychology, concentrating on the life period of young and late middle adulthood and its differences are presented. Not only the classic literature was the source for this thesis; also many researches that were carried out in recent years and that are focusing on finding out the main difference of motivation of these different groups of workers were the base for this thesis. In the last part of this work I analyse my own findings that are based on the interviews I made with young and older workers and I compare these findings with the findings presented in the international researches. Finally, I state that even though there are some differences in factors that motivate young and older workers and it is necessary to take these differences into account, in the elemental aspects the factors that motivate workers are the same for...
