This landscape study focuses on the recreational potential of the cadastral area of the town Lipany, east Slovakia. The work assesses the recreational potential of the place according to methodology Bína (2010) and according to methodology of Carbol (2010). Next, according to analysis of the place, the work defines its values and problems. The next part of the work is to propose changes in the study landscape consisting of several concepts taking into account the urban and demographic development as well as sustainable development of the area defined by three pillars. The individual elements of the proposed changes in the country are polyfunctional, they do not only increase the recreational potential of the area, but they also increase ecological stability, production potential of the country, protect and revitalize the values of the area and eliminate identified problems in the area. The proposed changes are described in detail, some of them are also simulated in visualization. Next, it is then re-evaluated recreational potential of the area, taking into account the proposed changes in the country, which shows that the potential increases of one degree in both methodologies. Proposed landscape design of recreational area near polder is elaborated in detail. The aim of the work is also to improve marketing, which consists of a draft of brochure describing the most interesting places and values of the contry.

This diploma thesis deals with Václav Vlček, a Czech prominent author of the second half of the 19th century (1839-1908), and his dramatic production. The introduction contains the information concerning the author himself, his social status, and Czech cultural life of that time. The attention is paid to two most interesting art disputes he was in with the forthcoming young modernist generation. Then we will primarily focus on his dramatic production, his historical tragedies, comedies and psychological plays. We will try to analyse common features in his drama, focusing mainly on his heroines modelled on the basis of Romantic heroines, and the characters of rulers who are depicted as saints and therefore lose all their dramatic nature due to their faultlessness. Next chapter is devoted to a partial reconstruction of the form of Vlček's plays performed in the Prozatímní divadlo (The Prague Provisional Theatre) and the National Theatre. Rare extant material, especially the two stage books and a prompt book, will be used. The chapter also describes criticism of that time, mainly the two most significant critics, Jan Neruda and Josef Durdík. The submitted archeological exploration of area associated with the important battle of the Hussite wars near Lipany on May 30, 1434 was primarily focussed on searching for material remains of this short military event. The project is essentially based on field research using the methodology of battlefield archaeology - the most often research approach concerning conflicts in the early modern history both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The field research was preceded by an analysis of written and iconographic sources relating to the Battle of Lipany and Hussite Wars and by a detailed study of historical maps. The detector prospection combined with targeting the findings by GPS coordinate method for more than four years brought approximately forty findings directly or chronologically related to the event being investigated. Most of them are small militaria (crossbow bullets, projectiles for firearms, spur fragments), the set is complemented by small coins and personal items. Findings related to the battle indicate a spatial relationship, they refer to some of the terrain sites that were the scene of different phases of the conflict.
