It is organized in three periods: Pioneer (1931 to 1958), Paradigmatic (1958 to 1984) and Contemporary (1984 to 2015). It is sought to comprehend the past so to understand the present and to project discussions on the future of narration. Therefore, it is aimed to analize which factors influenced on the evolution of the narrative of soccer and to describe the narrators' evolution of style and techniques by Carlos Schinner (2004) and Cyro C?sar (2009) and rethorical ability, by Luciano Kl?ckner (2011) and Daniel Prietto Castillo (1989;1994). It is concluded that it does not exist one defined school of narration in Porto Alegre. Actually, it presents a number of ramifications of styles, from the most conservative to the most liberal in the way of narrating football. / Narradores de futebol, dos desbravadores aos contempor?neos: estilo e t?cnica da locu??o no r?dio porto-alegrense (de 1931 a 2015) ? um trabalho que resgata parte da hist?ria da narra??o, organizada em tr?s per?odos: Desbravador (1931 a 1958), Paradigm?tico (1958 a 1984) e Contempor?neo (1984 a 2015). Buscou-se compreender o passado para entender o presente e projetar reflex?es sobre o futuro da narra??o. Objetivou-se analisar quais fatores influenciaram na evolu??o da narrativa de futebol e descrever a evolu??o do estilo e da t?cnica desses profissionais, com o apoio dos autores Carlos Schinner (2004) e Cyro C?sar (2009), e da capacidade ret?rica de narradores, conforme Luciano Kl?ckner (2011) e Daniel Prietto Castillo (1989;1994). Conclui-se que n?o existe em Porto Alegre uma escola de narra??o definida. Esta, na verdade, apresenta uma s?rie de ramifica??es, com estilos dos mais conservadores aos mais liberais na forma de se narrar futebol.

Objetiva-se identificar fatores de natureza estrutural, sem?ntica e discursivo-pragm?tica para o emprego de uma ou de outra forma de codifica??o do modificador nominal. O aparato te?rico ? o da Lingu?stica Funcional Centrada no Uso, conforme caracterizado por Furtado da Cunha, Bispo e Silva (2013). A pesquisa contempla tanto aspectos quantitativos, em termos da mensura??o dos dados emp?ricos com que se trabalha, como quest?es de natureza qualitativa no tocante ? explica??o e ? interpreta??o do fen?meno sob estudo. O banco de dados do qual foram extra?das as ocorr?ncias comp?e-se de textos provenientes de edi??es da revista Veja, de janeiro a mar?o de 2013. Esses textos s?o representativos de tr?s g?neros textuais, a saber: editorial, coluna social e guia. Os achados deste trabalho, assim como do de Dantas e Silva (2012), revelam que a exist?ncia de formas intercambi?veis de locu??o adjetiva e adjetivo parece n?o sustentar-se quando se considera a l?ngua em uso. A an?lise dos dados permitiu verificar que fatores de ordem diversa (sem?ntica, estrutural, cognitiva e pragm?tica) est?o envolvidos na op??o pela locu??o adjetiva em vez do adjetivo supostamente correlato. / This research deals with the relationship locu??o adjetiva / adjective, focusing the reasons for using one form or the other one, in situations where the speaker has a choice between an adjective or a locu??o adjetiva virtually correspondent and vice versa. In general, the objective is to investigate the possibility of correlation between locu??o adjetiva and adjective, and to identify motivations for the use of one form or the other one. The theoretical support of this paper is the Lingu?stica Funcional Centrada no Uso (LFCU), which groups together theoretical and methodological assumptions of North American Functional Linguistics, represented by authors as Giv?n (1984), Bybee (2010), Traugott (2011), and Cognitive Linguistics, as developed by Lakoff (1987), Langacker (1987) and Lakoff and Johnson (2002). As regards the methodological procedures, this research is of qualitative and quantitative character: at first, we did the survey data in the texts that made up the corpus, followed by analysis of each them, especially the locu??o adjetiva, by considering the semantic, morphosyntactic, cognitive and pragmatic aspects. The corpus is composed of 36 texts, taken from 12 issues of the Veja magazine, published between January 2013 and March 2013. As for the results, in the case of locu??o adjetiva with related adjectives, this research has shown that the choice of former is due to semantic change, the use of lexicalized forms, to priming cases or to stylistic motivations. It means that the choices of one of these two forms go beyond lexical issues, since there are other motivations, such as syntactic, semantic and pragmatic ones.
