Terénní logopedická péče u osob s dysfagií / Speech and Language Therapy Field Care for People with Dysphagia

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of field language and speech therapy for people with dysphagia. The work is divided into four chapters, while the first three define the theoretical framework of the work, the fourth chapter is empirical. The introductory chapter provides an insight into the physiology of swallowing and the anatomy of the orofacial area. The following chapter is devoted to the issue of dysphagia. The final theoretical chapter offers an insight into speech therapy intervention in patients with dysphagia. The fourth chapter presents a mixed design of a research survey focusing on the provision of field speech therapy care for people with dysphagia in the Czech Republic. The main goal of the research survey was to analyze the provision of this care in our country. This was followed by setting partial goals of the work and research questions. Within them, the work tries to analyze the specifics and barriers to the provision of field speech and language therapy care for patients with dysphagia. A questionnaire survey among clinical speech therapists and interviews with some of them was developed. Terénní logopedická péče u osob s afázií / Speech therapy in home care for people with aphasia

The topic of the thesis is speech therapy for people with aphasia. The thesis is divided into four chapters, the first three chapters are concerning the theory, the fourth chapter is empirical. The first chapter contains the definition of communication and the definition of disturbed communication ability, it dedicates the central and peripheral nervous system and its impact on the communication ability. The second chapter focuses on the aphasia as a kind of disturbed communication of ability gained by adults. Herein is described the etiology, symptomology and speech therapy intervention, the part of this is diagnostics, therapy and prevention. The third chapter mentions the system of organization of the speech therapy intervention in the Czech Republic which is divided into three sectors. Further is described the speech therapy in home care as an ordinary part of speech therapy abroad. The fourth chapter presents the combined research focused on provided speech therapy in home care in our country. The main purpose of such research was to analyse the specifics of speech therapy in home care for persons with aphasia and to record availability of providing this service. 1 ABSTRACT The present work deals with the development of speech child educated in a multilingual environment, resp. with children bilingualism and any difficulties that may accompany this development. The aim of this work is to investigate the effect of the action of multiple languages in the acquisition of speech and the possibility of child therapy of multi-lingual children. The theoretical basis is based on the analysis of scientific literature on the topic. Includes basic terms, follows the development of the child's speech in connection with multilingual environment, the type and manner learning another language. It deals with the problems of these children in speech, specifics and possible redress procedures in the context of logopedic intervention. The practical part consists of qualitative research in the form of case studies, using the method of interview, observation and analysis of results of operations. This master's thesis deals with the communication disorder dyslalia in adult's age. Firstly brings components of speech intervention, especially speech therapy. Secondly describes dyslalia, its etiology, classification, diagnosis and prevention. Mostly this thesis deals with dyslalia therapy and its adults specifics. It gives examples of usable therapeutic materials in the Czech Republic also abroad. Thesis also judges the situation of adult's therapeutic materials on the market. The main intention was to create a therapeutic material for adults with dyslalia diagnosis. It was created 100 worksheets for frequently disturbed Czech sounds (L, R, Ř, Č, Š, Ž, C, S, Z, ČŠŽ / CSZ). Nino Peterek, Ph.D., Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Abstract: A goal of this thesis is to design, create and test speech validation method based on current speech recognition algorithms. Resulting software is a speech therapy application for sounds or words training with feedback about pronunciation accuracy. Speech validation is based on CMUSphinx tools and on inaccurate pronunciation generation (using phonetic dictionary). Records with accurate and inaccurate pronunciations has been collected for training and testing purposes. It has been shown, that this design is not appropriate. Thanks to the software design, application can be easily extended by techniques, that could improve validation efficiency. The thesis titled Evaluation design therapy of neurogenic disorders of language in clinical speech therapy aims to find out what effect the speech reeducation to improve communication skills in people with acquired neurogenic communication disorders speech. Next, determine whether therapy plays a role during client environment, if the success rate of therapy affected patient's condition and the extent to which the clients are motivated to therapy. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature on neurogenic communication disorders, aphasia and dysarthria. Each chapter is devoted to the terminological definition and definition, etiology, symptoms (for aphasia), classification, diagnostics and therapy. The practical part deals with the research survey. There are set targets mentioned methodology, research sample characteristics and place of the investigation. Following processing of four case studies. This work with title Possibility of using art therapy in the treatment of speech therapy lay down the goal in theoretic part describe penetrations art therapy and speech therapy and presented so coherent summary those problems in all symptomatic classification of speech language disorder. And then in scope art therapy define main relations and ideas from sphere terminology, definitions and analysis. In this sphere also defined forms therapy and presented triangular model of relationship among client, art therapist and art work. It concentated also on goals art therapy and meaning of colours. It also devoted to relationship of art therapy and special education. Practical part has two units. In it's scope there was the goal to form the logopedic - art therapy programme. First part engaged in logopedic - art therapy programme LOGOART, that is here shortly presented. The second part then started from three guestionnaire researches and concentrated on benefits of this programme, meaning of inquiry persons i fit would be intoductioned to the school practice, or would be supplement of speech therapy. This diploma thesis is focused on speech therapy intervention for adults with dyslalia. It defines basic theory of communication and speech, a communication disorder, speech therapy and a specific of intervention for adults. It also describes the most common types of communication disorders of adolescents, adults and elderly which are according to statistics aphasia, dysarthria, stuttering and dyslalia. Dyslalia is then studied in further detail and represents the main section of the theoretical part of the thesis as it contains a description of its therapy among others. Re-education was focused on dyslalia of sounds r and ř, that is rhotacism and rhotacism bohemicus, as they are most common. The main purpose of the thesis is to describe progress of re-education of adults with dyslalia, find reasons to start re- education and differences between an intervention for children and adults. The research is divided into two sections, the first section contains information from interviews with clinical speech therapists and the second contains two case studies of adults with dyslalia.

The diploma thesis called "Aids in speech therapy of dyslalia" consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the general concept of logopedic intervention, dyslalia and all components of logopedic intervention in this impaired communication ability. There is also described the classification of speech aids according to various authors and some selected aids. Views on their use can be different even among the experts. These aids are also included to the practical part, which, through a questionnaire survey, examined the views of clinical logopedists on these aids and their use. Research provides an overview of the use of these aids in the practice of respondents and shows that their view on them varies in some areas. This diploma thesis is called "Selected aspects of logopedic therapy by preschool children" and as this title implies it mainly deals with issues of speech or pronunciation defects by children of preschool age. This diploma thesis is divided into two main parts and the first one is the theoretical part which describes knowledge concerning speech therapy and any other problems connected with this issue. The second part is the practical or research part and is created on the basis of my survey which was made in a speech therapy clinic in České Budějovice and it contains detailed analysis of the acquired information. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe this issue as well as possible in order to build on these pieces of knowledge in the theoretical part and to analyse some of the aspects of speech or pronunciation defects more thoroughly.
