Thesis - Marketing Communications in Pharmaceutical Industry - consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents the various attributes of marketing communication, together with the marketing mix. In detail, the work will focus on the 4P - product, price, distribution and marketing communication. Each of these attributes will be related to the specific environment of the pharmaceutical industry. In this section we outline the history of the pharmaceutical industry and learn the basic information about the State Institute for Drug Control. We describe the mission and activities of these organizations - Czech Association of Pharmaceutical Companies, Association of the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry. The practical part focuses on the relationship between the pharmaceutical industries and medical experts. The aim is to determine compliance with codes of ethics of pharmaceutical companies, including ethical aspects of advertising / promotion in the Czech Republic.

The thesis offers a brief review of Czech massmedia market situation. The work particulary focuses on marketing communication of companies providing voice, data, or Internet connection services. According to international NACE CZ/EU standart: Voice services, data transmission and Internet connection services - The scope of the research does not include only the largest providers, but whole business category with smaller and local providers too. Therefore, it is possible to observe quite common situations, when some small local company penetrates the particular massmedia market, usually ruled by large monopolistic companies. Thus, the small companies can influent the market and the research rapidly. The thesis includes marketing campaigns implemented in TV broadcast, press, radio and Internet.

The objective of the diploma thesis is to find out the general utilization of Guerilla Marketing. It focuses particularly on attitudes of companies and customers dealing with this nontraditional form of marketing communication. Finally it compares these attitudes with utilization of traditional forms of Communication Mix. The theoretical part focuses on history of communication, communication process, traditional communication mix, guerilla marketing and their mutual comparison. It is followed by practical part, which focuses on knowledge of approaches and utilization of guerilla marketing in six interviewed companies of different fields and sizes. Attitudes of consumers on traditional forms of marketing communication are derived from the secondary research, based on MML -- TGI data. The secondary research is followed by the primary research., which finds out the approach and the knowledge of guerilla marketing of customers. It compares this approach with their knowledge of traditional communication mix. The questionnaire was distributed through email to 200 consumers in total and was evaluated by 168 customers. The diploma thesis is concluded by complete evaluation, which at first highlights the effectivness of utilization of traditional advertising in television in the near future. Aditionally it takes in consideration opportunities of internet and social networks future and integration of guerilla marketing into the traditional forms of promotion. In conclusion author suggests few recommendations for companies, who want to use guerilla marketing in the future.

The first part of the thesis focuses on influence of the Internet on marketing and investigates options of communication tools which the institutions can choose from. The second part of the thesis covers a copywriting topic which means ways how to work with communication content. The next part focuses on real example of educational institution and its way of looking for the best communication mix with examples of issues which can occur in the real praxis. At the end the thesis summarizes important steps which together create instructions how to accomplish the best communication mix on the internet for educational institutions.

The master's thesis deals with the marketing potential of the recent art work fairs. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the potential of the fair trades with the emphasis on the benefits of participation for the Czech private galleries in such fairs. The thesis also deals with the fair as one of the communication mix tools, which shall serve to achieve the marketing and communication goals and presents the relationships between the participants in the art work market. The advantages of the participation in recent art work fairs were analysed through the method of interview comparison with the gallery owners and employees. The analytical part covers the analysis of the participation of a Czech private gallery in an international recent art fair and presents the barriers of entry for Czech galleries in such fairs. With regard to the results of the analysis the measures were recommended that would lead to more effective usage of the marketing potential of the recent art fairs.

This diploma thesis, entitled "Marketing tools of the United Islands festival and real impacts of their use" is focused on the marketing tools suitable for marketing of musical production and is based on example of the United Islands festival. The goal of this thesis is to marginally present specifications of musical open air productions, to present in detail marketing tools used for promotion of these events and by using data from marketing research to demonstrate whether the tools used by the United Islands festival are chosen correctly or incorrectly. Theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to a definition of work related terms and to list marketing tools suitable for promotion of music productions. The following practical part gain from theoretical part and from marketing research and by using them it deduces what marketing tools are suitable for promotion of the United Islands festival and what is their cost effectiveness and efficiency.

The diploma thesis is concerned with marketing communication of a bank on social networks. The aim of the thesis is to identify the possibilities of marketing promotion on social networks and thereafter perform an analysis of current communication of Česká spořitelna and based on it provide suggestions for improvements. The communication on social networks is a relatively new a dynamically developing area and companies devote increasingly larger parts of the marketing budgets to this form of communication. The benefits of this work are therefore a summary of new findings in this field, overview of forms of promotion on Facebook and Twitter and evaluation of communication of Česká spořitelna using comparison with an internet bank Air Bank and using best practices. At the end of the thesis I present suggestions for improvements of communication of Česká spořitelna on social networks.
