This diploma thesis deals with calculation of forest stand heights on the basis of airborne laser scanning (ALS) on the territory of Training Forest Enterprise Křtiny. Point cloud data from ALS were interpolated into digital terrain model (DTM), digital surface model (DSM) and subsequently by subtraction of DTM from DSM into canopy height model (CHM). Inverted CHM was used for detection of tree tops by Inversed Watershed Segmentation; tree tops were identified as local minima. Calculated heights of forest stands were compared with height data taken from Forest Management Plan (FMP) and with data from field survey.

The first part introduces the RFID technology and its application in the healthcare and pharma. The second part deals with the particular RFID application in the process of preparation and aplication of cytostatics at MOU. It includes process analysis, identification of areas where there is a lack in usage of technology potential, suggestions on how to increase the benefits of the implementation, as well as identification of factors that have impact on the valuation of RFID projects.

The goal of the diploma project is the architectural design of The Gallery Grand Prix in Brno Racing Circuit. Project considers the actual urbanization of racing circuit. It's goal is to continue in long-term history of this kind of sport in Brno and to make this racing circuit more attractive.

This diploma thesis is the first biography about a journalist and writer Josef Novotný, who was born in Chrudim of 1900, considered one of the culturally liveliest Czech towns at the sunset of the 19th century. He engaged in writing as early as at grammar school, gaining first journalist experience in regional press, above all in Středostavovský buditel. This periodical was published by Československá živnostensko-obchodnická strana středostavovská. In the following years he worked as a reporter in Nová Praha, Trn, Tramp, Úl and others. In the 30s he started cooperation with Melantrich, where he wrote for České slovo and Český ilustrovaný zpravodaj. Later on in the late 40s he was employed as a reporter with Masarykův list. In 1948 his membership in Sydnikát českých novinářů had expired and by that literally his journalist career, too. He wrote tens of books, some of which were of autobiographic and regional character. He is the author of literature for children and youth, theatre and puppet plays, detective stories and rodokaps. He elaborated many historical themes and literary criticism essays. Assignment of diploma thesis is a design of the Prevention center building and expansion of Radiation oncology clinic in Masaryk oncological institution in Brno. The newly build complex should contain aggregate facility for preventive examinations including screening section, advisory centers and center for proton therapy. Another components will also be an inpatient ward, personnel facilites, apartments for employees and rentable units. The purpose of creation of a new prevention center is an increase in capacity for carrying out prevention within commerical programme and also during taking care of people with increased risk of occurence of a malignant tumor.

The project is a proposal of a new Center of prevention located in the Masaryk’s Oncology Institute in Brno. It includes the oncology center prevention itself, inpatient department for patients who attend radiation therapy and a proton therapy center. It is also supplemented by administration and rentable premises.

The study design includes a main directorate of the Grand Prix Brno. There are spaces designed for administration (office management circuit, meeting room, secretarial services, tec.), riders (relaxation room, garage), the commissioner and start providemaintenance and safe operation of the circuit, VIP lounges and media hall. Building is an oval dynamic shape, created of steel construction and skeleton with light cladding combined with fresh glass facade. Central part of object is designed in main axis of autodrome. Functional change in solved area was constituted by creating a corridor between main entrance into an areal, used by public. This corridor was connected with driveway to paddocks. The proposal is designed to meet safety criteria, but also manager to evoke good atmosphere of racers and visitors.
